This may be the worst Jimmy John's location in STL - and that is really saying something. They are excruciatingly slow. Blatantly rude. There are 20 workers standing behind the counter with usually one building sandwiches , one begrudgingly taking orders if the must and the others just staring into space. It's very long and narrow and there is usually about 20 people standing right in the middle aisle waiting. And on top of that - I waited 20 min for the Greek gyro which had hardly any meat and a Greek cucumber salad that was basically cucumbers and onion in yogurt sauce with no seasoning. And it cost $20. My son wanted Jimmy John's for lunch so he ordered using the delivery app. I haven't had Jimmy John's since 2009 or when they first opened a location in Creve Coeur. I always felt they put too much shredded lettuce on their sandwiches & not enough meats. Delivery was timely and the food was fresh. I had a turkey avocado sandwich on wheat and added bacon. The sandwich had plenty of meat but it was a sandwich with the two butts/heels of the loaf. Good sandwich but the ends of the bread were too thick & took away from the quality of the sandwich. Next time, if I go there, it will be a long sub sandwich... not two heels. read more

How can you not love the classic, chain, Jimmy John's? This place just hits the spot when you need a quick lunch or light dinner or midnight snack that isn't too greasy. Their motto 'Subs so fast, you'll freak" is ironic, but true. I also love their line to be found on posters around the store - "Free Smells." Having started in nearby Champaign, Illinois, it's super-popular in STL. In fact, kids at my high school used to frequently cut out during lunchtime to grab their lunch at JJ! One of my friends even was so enamored, he recently started his own franchise in another city. While the main staple here is obviously the sandwiches, the Jimmy John's labeled chips and cookies are both pretty yummy. I'm not a huge pickle fan, but you can buy those on the side, as well. The best JJ secret? At the end of the night, they'll sell leftover bread for $.50 a loaf. read more

Literally the worst jimmy johns location. All of the teachers in the area order from them and they are either 1-2 hours late (even if you order before they open) or they spill your crap and don't leave a receipt. I was supposed to get a refund for my last order and never did. I decided to order again bc I'm pregnant and craving it and they spilled my drink. Claimed I needed the receipt. No receipt was left even though she swore it was attached to the bag. On Friday's they're SO slow and never freaky fast. They claim they have over 100 orders. Here's an idea, hire more drivers or have more staff on the days you know you're going to be really busy. A damn shame. read more

I normally love Jimmy John's but this specific location always has an issue of mixing onion with their lettuce. I understand that happens once or twice, but it happens almost every time I order. They should really consider placing the onions away from the lettuce so there is no confusion. read more

Soo damn tired of going to Jimmy John's and having the same problem time and time again. Use the 7-Grain Wheat bread on the club sandwiches like you advertise. Even when I "special order" it this way, the bread is frequently out of stock. Very annoyed that every time I order I get this cheap tasteless French bread. This is a fairly new location. Building is very clean. Staff is always fast. Drive through is "freaky fast". Good example of "Jimmy Johns". I personally am not a fan of there white bread, but there wheat bread is the best! Try the #12 on wheat. read more

When you come from living in Soulard with fabulous fast delivery to this crappy location that doesn't deliver unless its across their parking lot idk what to think. I got inspired watching a jimmy johns commercial and then discovered they dont deliver. what!?!? so we said fine lets not be lazy and go up there. Its so different from the options online and in the store. Our sandwiches had hardly any lettuce on them and hardly any cheese on them. They also picked out the nastiest tomatoes that they had and the smallest in pieces off of the end of the Tomato that you would normally throw away that's what they put on her sandwiches. Then when we called to talk to the manager the manager was a total asshole. This Jimmy John's needs to be shut down or totally revamped as far as their employees are concerned. read more

Great food fast. The staff is okay nothing to rave about. They dont seem to go out of there way to make greet you and make sure everything is good with your food. It would be nice to see a manager go around to the guests once and a while to check on them. read more
