The front desk ladies have always been rude, especially the older woman who has been there for years. I've been going to this practice for over 7 years and always see a different dentists, it's nice to have different perspectives but not an ideal experience. My biggest issue is scheduling or rescheduling. You make an appointment 6 months in advance and God forbid you need to reschedule it. I am a full time student and full time employee, my schedule is changing constantly and every time I need to reschedule my cleaning they push it by 2-3 months. No place is perfect, but if they didn't overbook appointments, clients who have been there for years could get the care they need. It just screams greedy and careless. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

Booking the appointment was easy and I didn't have to wait weeks out for an appointment which was a plus since I was due for a cleaning. From Linda at the front desk to the hygienist to the dental assistants, the experience is more than pleasurable. Typically these days, staff can sometimes act as if they're doing you a favor by serving you but not here. One can tell that the staff is genuinely happy to have you there and also love their job which is always a plus. So after my cleaning Dr. Sutton came in to greet/meet me, checked to make sure I received a thorough cleaning and also did a new patient assessment. When he walked in I was like whoa! Can we just pause to acknowledge how beautiful he is?! Aside from that, he was very very gentle, super friendly, and very interactive. Not to mention super hilarious. He constantly informed me on what he would be doing, what he saw, any concerns, and complimented wherever applicable. He recommended a follow up which I went back for and let me tell you, you would not want a better dentist. As I said, you always know what he'll do next before he does it, any feeling or pain to expect and how much longer the procedure will take. You won't feel like a patient on a surgery table being worked on like meat, and I wasn't a drooling slob during any of the procedures. The interaction provided the assurance/reassurance you need as he makes progress. Im always so thankful to find a great healthcare provider, especially one that makes you feel like you're truly the focus of the care being received, rather than just another number. I look forward to seeing him and the staff every 6 months for my cleaning. Will totally recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. Even if you already have one, I'd even suggest switching.

Now let's move on to the hygienist, Karla! What a gem! Karla is kinda and considerate and funny!! Richard was helping Dr. Kromrey with my crown today. He is there as a potential new hire to the staff at Palms Dental. I was asked my opinion of him as a new staff member. I was very impressed by Dr. Kromrey that he values the opinions of a patient. Even as new as I am! And once again, Richard is a great person who will be a wonderful asset. It is that gentle hand! There is one other girl that helped a few weeks ago, with my root canal. Both Dr and assistant were outstanding! I did not feel a thing!! And last but never least is the office staff. Always a smiling face to greet you and a cheerful smile when you leave. They will take excellent care of you. I also have to comment on timeliness! I don't care what time my appt is, I am always taken back and procedure begins within 5 minutes after I enter the office. That is such a fabulous plus for a person that is working and running to dental appts on her lunch hour! :) Hats off to the entire office at Palms Dental Care!! See you in two weeks! Annette

There are TVs playing kids movies on the ceiling of where the kids are being examined. So they can just watch while getting worked on. They offer a toy at the end of the visit. There was a little tear because fear started to creep in, but Dr. Tover came in and saved the day! Between calling his big brothers for encouragement, a Spider-Man mask, a balloon sword, lots of hugs and an incredibly patient dental team, Dylan got through his X-rays and cleaning. The entire appointment was completed in less than an hour! What meant the most to me was how they cared for Dylan as a CHILD, not just another dental patient. Also be prepared to be asked for your insurance at every turn and take photos for them lol. I had to give it to the AI machine, upload it to there site on two different areas. When I came into the office, two different receptionists asked for the insurance. Honestly it was slightly annoying and made them appear unorganized. I have an extremely popular insurance carrier so I can't find a way to understand why they were forgetting. However, I understood they were trying to make sure the paperwork was completed. One of the receptionist that reschedules your appointment did not fit the brand of everyone else who worked there. She was slightly rude and discussing people's personal business in the office. I came in for my appointment at 2pm and the wait time was almost nonexistent. I only waited for about 4 minutes before they took me to the back to do ex rays. My experience with the actual dentist was extremely pleasant and he explained everything going on with my teeth in a way I could easily comprehend. He was also very warm and welcomed any questions I had. The hygienist who did my cleaning was sooo gentle and the best experience I've ever had. However, afterwards the reception staff was a nightmare. I had to be a constant mediator between them and the insurance company. After months of back and forth they received their payment from the insurance for the cleaning but it was such a hassle I've never encountered. Such a shame to walk away from them but I don't have 3 months after I get my cleaning to instruct them on how to deal with insurance companies. I'm still not sure about the real issue of why I had to heavily get involved but nonetheless I've decided to just make the long drive to my old dentist office for my cleaning. I might try them again if I walk by and the front staff is different lol just being honest. The dentists are top tier. I recommend if you don't mind the front desk staff
