I recently brought my child in for a haircut after school. We waited for 45 minutes, with only one…read morestylist working in the salon. As she was finally ready for us, another stylist walked in with 3 customers in tow and bumped them in front of us because we had not been registered (by the one working employee). Kids don't particularly wait as well as adults, but seriously, let's just move our friends, family, whatever first because we can. DON'T BOTHER. Never had this problem under the old management. Really wish I could rate it a big '0'.

Started working for the salon as a Salon Manager in March of this year recently resigned September…read more4,2021; I just couldn't deal with my Assistant Manager. I experienced clients being discriminated against, I immediately intercepted and spoke to my supervisor about it Lattrice Dykes and it was almost like their was nothing she could do, it felt like the company was desperate for employees that they allowed to make African American clients feel like they were able to get their hair done at this location. No one should have to be told We don't be Black hair here. That is not professional or nice to say. It actually sounds racist. Also September 4, I received a call from the part time stylist that was previously let go but then was rehired due to short staff, Bridget; I received a call about 2 hours after I got off that Day and it's Ms. Bridget screaming about how the Assistant Manager was verbally fighting her while was speaking to the Opelousas salon manager about a coupon code that wasn't working at the register, so as I am talking to her to calm her down, I receive a phone call from Front End Manager at Walmart telling me the same story, yelling, fighting, and screaming at each other, I immediately reached out to Ms. Lattrice and explained to her what was going on, she states I am having a hard time understanding because Carla and Bridget worked together before you were managing and they didn't have these issues, I said I have been complaining about Carla to you and nothing was done I termed her and you had her to come back to work after all the disruption, she said I can't just let her go, I will not lose my job for firing her, you as The Salon Leader can't just fire her without higher up approval. She said take a statement from everyone send me the contact information to me for manager that reported the incident and I'll reach out. So I went back to work pulled each one to the back room individually and had them to write statement la about what happened and of course both associates blamed the opposite, after sending statements to Lattrice .... I called her to discuss how she wanted me to handle the situation She stated she would deal with it on Monday! By the way this all happened on a Saturday. I had never experienced such foolishness with grown adults, I mean these two ladies are both 50+ and extremely talented people. So I resigned that day. It was the best decision ever..... to leave because when the drama started to occur and I noticed my supervisor wasn't being supportive or helping to make changes to better the salon, it made me feel like I didn't have a support system behind me. I still maintain my clients I gained there. That's the only good thing that came with this Salon!
