They work with new dental assistants, but have had the same employees for years. Have had issues over the years. Once we called Dr Guido at about 6:00 AM because of an issue that arose. It was the only time we could contact them to tell them we weren't going to be able to make our appointment that day. He was very nice about us waking him up early. The Corona virus, he contacted us on a Saturday evening to touch base in person about our up coming appointments. Can't say enough THANKS for the way they have worked with us over the years. You are a person with real life situations not just a number. Even though they are not a children's dental office, they work well with the little ones too.

I would like to mention the staff was very welcoming and extremely friendly. From the front desk to the doctor looking at my teeth, everyone was pleasant. I went in for a consultation for a minor procedure and had no idea what to expect because I had never heard of the problem I was having, but they made it sound like it was a pretty urgent thing I needed to get done. After they took a picture and the doctor looked at my teeth, he proceeded to try and sell me what probably was a very expensive electric tooth brush. I said I would look into the tooth brush and he wrapped up the appointment. Like I said, everyone was overly friendly but once the appointment was over the nurse walked me down the hall and said I was now to go get an estimate for the minor procedure from another lady who's office was at the end of the hall. I sat down and she kindly printed out the estimate which was over $1000 and I'm sitting there thinking okay insurance will take care of most of this! No big deal! Then she proceeds to tell me that they like to have their patients take care of the bill now for what they just had done and she asked "how would you like to take care of that today?" I was completely caught off guard because any doctor or dentist I have ever been to just sends me a bill in the mail so I can pay as much as I can at a time (NOT TO MENTION PLAN AND BUDGET!). She then said that she will try and run it through insurance and (I guess) reimburse me if they pay anything. THANKFULLY it was just a consultation, but it was still $83 dollars I really didn't have that day. No wonder they send you to the end off the hall instead of out to the front to tell you this. I imagine a lot of people would be causing a scene! After reading another review about that person's experience, I am too scared to get anything else done at this place. I do not have the time or money to be sued for not paying a lump some for a procedure!

Upon my first visit (which was a referral), I was quoted a reasonable price for my procedure...little did I know that the ACTUAL cost of this procedure would turn out to be literally double the amount quoted to me IN WRITING. I was made to feel that this procedure needed to be done immediately to prevent further damage and therefore proceeded with the treatment before my insurance returned their coverage. Imagine my shock when they informed me that I was liable for this new astronomical amount. After paying 75% of the bill, I informed the billing dept. that I would be unable to maintain the ridiculous payment plan, and that I would have to make payment at a later date. Within 90 days of this coversation...they not only turned me over to collections (which was expected), but they proceeded to SUE ME and take steps to garnish my wages for the remaining 25% of the bill. Keep in mind...not 1 phone call was made to me regarding this matter. I was never serviced by the courts, and didn't realize I was even being sued until I contacted their office to make the final payment as previously discussed, and when I received a call from another attorney informing me that I had been sued. My advise to those considering using this facility for thier periodontal needs...TRIPLE CHECK YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE BEFORE LETTING THEM TOUCH YOU! tHEY WILL LEACH EVERY CENT THEY CAN GET AND SUE YOU IF YOU DON'T PAY OFF THE BALANCE IN THEIR COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE TIME FRAME! I have been going to Tecumseh Dental for almost 10 years and have referred many, many people their…read moreway. The dentists have always been fantastic and the lady at the front desk was always so helpful and sweet. Well, they have a new girl also working the front desk who is incredibly rude. My Dental Insurance was having issues getting my employer to update my address with my PO Box, so I've been waiting for them to resend the insurance check. I've checked in on the issue multiple times, but it seems like the insurance company really takes its time resending the check, as I have been dealing with this for months and still haven't seen a new check come through. I let Tecumseh Dental know EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON, and that I would be in communication regarding when the check arrived etc, and that I would pay the invoice immediately after. The new lady at the front desk for Tecumseh was super shitty, short, and acted like I haven't been a patient there for 10 years and paid thousands of dollars. She told me to let them know, but acted super unhappy about it. (Remember, we're talking about $200) Since then I have been in touch multiple times about it, letting them know I've been doing everything I can on my end. WELL- yesterday I got a notice in the mail that they are sending me to collections for non-payment. This is absolutely absurd because A., I have been in contact with them about it the entire time and B., are you really that hard up on $200 that you're going to send a long-time patient to collections? How embarrassing. Needless to say, I will be calling them first thing this morning to pay the bill I haven't received insurance money for, and to let them know our family won't be back for services, and I definitely will let everyone know to avoid Tecumseh Dental at all costs, especially if they don't do something to make this right.

I really cannot express what a godsend Dr Lalonde has been to our family . While using a carefully…read morechosen, well known dentist in Florida , my daughter was the unfortunate recipient of a botched implant . I wish I could say that was accidental, but it was careless disregard for protocol which caused the problem Dr Lalonde inherited. The experienced but overconfident Florida doctor placed an implant sideways. Most periodontists would take a simple intraoperative X-ray which would confirm the implant is straight but this doctor disregarded protocol resulting in a sideways implant that ran dangerously close to the nerve of the GOOD tooth next to it. In a word : Disaster. Dr Lalonde caught this problem quickly on a follow-up visit upon my daughter's return to Indiana. He urgently advocated on my daughter's behalf speaking to the doctors in Florida and consulting his own mentors in Ohio to organize a treatment plan to correct the mess . Ultimately , Dr Lalonde removed the poorly placed implant and placed new bone graft material , placed a new (proper) implant and veneers to make the both congenital defects and prior orthodontia match . In my opinion , this was an extremely complicated case both emotionally and physically. It took courage for Dr Lalonde to confront another dentist regarding his work and honestly I do not think many would even want to get involved trying to undo another person's mistakes. But he did and turned the mess into something worthwhile. I cannot imagine any other doctor would be as personally involved from start to finish as he was . Fixing this problem took two years and with each step there was uncertainty whether or not the procedures he tried would even work within the frame he inherited ! Dr Lalonde tirelessly and steadily made our burden his own and SUCCEEDED in turning our tears and pain into a giant smile . Dr Lalonde even gave us his personal cell phone for questions or emergencies and consistently responded anytime we used it . While the physical outcome is obviously amazing (see photo below) , what you cannot see in a picture is the HOURS he worked tirelessly behind the scenes and even on his days off and into the night if necessary to make this masterpiece come to life . I can safely say after seeing him perform seemingly every procedure a periodontist or cosmetic dentist could be required perform , I can report with confidence his work is exceptional in all areas. I wholeheartedly recommend him and I would go so far as to say think twice in trusting anyone else or you could be us ! THANK YOU DR LALONDE ! You are a treasure .

All of the work had already been completed except for modifying my deture to connect with my 2 implanted posts. I did not have the work completed at the office due to the high cost. The office was not covered under my Delta Dental Insurance so 100% of the cost was coming out of my pocket. My husband and I are seniors with many health problems and simply could not afford the high cost. On my last office visit, I paid the office $2000 for the future work to be done. When I found out my insurance was not going to cover any of the costs, as first told to me by the office, I requested a detailed invoice for any current charges and a refund for the money that was left. Two months later, I have yet to see either one. The staff continues to give me the run around, "we have to talk to the doctor ", "its been mailed", and so forth. I can't get my $2000 back and in these days of very high living costs, it HURTS! My husband and I need our $$$$ back!

The dentist and the assistant were so so nice, gentle, and caring. They listened to me and could see exactly what the problem was. I was in, filled out the new patient information, was examined, numb, and had my wisdom tooth pulled in a little over a hour. Quick, painless, gentle, and VERY kind. Called a couple weeks ago and made an appointment. They gave me their email address to have my…read moreformer dentist (in Oklahoma) send my dental records. Well the email is a mile long and I got a character wrong. it did not ping back to my former dentist either. But Highland Creek didn't get it. I show up on the appointment day and fill out 15 minutes of paperwork. Then I go back and am told they won't do an exam without xrays and they didn't get mine from the other dentist. They would take xrays but I do not want unnecessary xrays taken as I had just had them taken 6 months ago. So I said I'd reschedule. In retrospect not sure I will reschedule WITH THEM. They could have told me yesterday that they didn't have the records. A major hassle (for me).
