Hidden inside an enormous modern building that is shared with Agnes B is this airy and spacious branch of Jigsaw-much appreciated in Hampstead's surprisingly uninteresting shopping streets.
Jigsaw stands out from the high street middle market retailers such as Hobbs and French Connection. The stock is very well cut, quirky, original and yet surprisingly classic. The look is very feminine-muted colours with lace or button details- there is an echo of Whistles here but with a slightly cheaper price tag.
Price-wise I find Jigsaw slightly eccentric-some of the knitwear is very reasonable but last 2007's linen shirts at around £90 seemed quite expensive-these were just a whisper of a shirt!
However, there is an elegance to Jigsaw that has made it a lasting favourite ,and it is no coincidence that their sale is always one of the last of the season. read more
