Terrible customer service. Used Jiffy for a deep clean of my bathrooms and carpets (only vacuuming) and limited the pros to 3 hours of work. I asked them just to get done what they could in 3 hours and focus on bathrooms and carpets. They cleaned for 5 hours (without permission) and did not clean the drains in the bathrooms nor did they sweet or mop, they only cleaned the inside of the toilets and gave the counters a quick wipe. They did maybe a quick pass over the carpets but decided not to do the carpet on the stairs. They spent their time cleaning my kids book shelves which I specifically said not to worry about. I'm a single parent and I saved for this to treat myself and now I'm out $300 for a terrible job and I cant afford to hire someone else so I guess I'm just going to have to do it myself! Terrible and inflexible customer service. They used to offer ice melter buckets throughout the entire winter. Now, they only offer them at certain times. They claim to send out emails about it that do not always get received, even when their flawed system says that they were. I can attest that I never received any of these emails. Regardless, their inflexibility is really not good customer service. They do not care about the convenience of their customers. They are only looking to make things easier for themselves. Then they shut down the conversation and ignore you instead of perhaps finding alternative ways to make the customer satisfied. Customer satisfaction is not their priority. At least, it's not Rosita's and she's apparently a customer service supervisor. It's a shame as now we have to go spend more money to get ice melter elsewhere when it would have been free due to our Jiffy+ membership (which we've had for years and will be cancelling if Jiffy continues to refuse to do the right thing). Rosita claims the promotion has ended but it's hardly a promotion if their customers don't actually get the emails. But I must be a liar. Now they've gone and cancelled my subscription before I actually asked them to do this. I guess that's the easy way out for them. They don't want to actually work toward finding a resolution. I would suggest that if you are looking for a company that provides good customer service and is willing to show flexibility, that you look elsewhere. DO NOT USE JIFFY!!! I have had three bad experiences with Jiffy now. The first time the contractor quit Jiffy 5 minutes before he was scheduled to show up. Second time the contractor harassed me for not paying for his smoke breaks by texting and calling me. Now this time I'm left with a bigger job than when I started for drywall! No outside contractor wants to touch it as is because it's such a mess. The drywallers, who are supposedly vetted by Jiffy, spent 40 hours drywalling half of a 7x14 room and it's still nowhere near done!! The ceiling is about to buckle and fall down, the seams are protruding everywhere AND they want $170/hour for a total of $6800!! Jiffy has not rectified this for me as of this post. I'm several days behind now with an absolute mess of a job to deal with and no one calls from Jiffy to fix it, everything is done through texting. I used Jiffy to find a plumber. Joseph was assigned to my job, upon arrival Joseph introduced himself, put booties over his boots to not damage or dirty my floor. Once he saw the job he explained what was going to be done. After the job was completed he was kind enough to provide me details on how the job was completed, ensured that everything was in working condition and asked me if there was anything else he could assist with or explain. When they started they were responsive and helpful. Now, you cannot even get someone from Jiffy on the phone. The Jiffy+ spending account is a scam, as the services are very limited, and if you spend less than the amount you have paid, you lose the difference. The guarantee is also not real. We had issues with two pros. The first was an AC maintenance person who did not recognize that our A/C unit had leaked all its coolant. We needed someone else to come from a reputable business afterwards and fix the problem. Jiffy reimbursed us half the funds we paid their Pro, even though he was not competent. We also had an issue with one of their appliance repair pros who wanted us to pay twice since he didn't bring the correct part. Jiffy was of no help. As a former Jiffy Pro who was wrongfully removed as a contractor by Jiffy on Demand, save yourself money by doing a Google search for insured professionals in your area. Jiffy is a bunch of unprofessional kids, hiding behind their keyboards, charging contractors 30% or more per hour to do a job you could have found with a simple Google search for less money! Two months ago, I expressed concern and complained about their practices, customer service, and outragious charges to customers and high hourly percentages for contractors. Suddenly, my access was not working properly and after two+ months of reaching out to Jiffy via email, text, and phone, I received an email informing me I was terminated as a contractor because I was "unprofessional". The unprofessionalism is on Jiffy. Their failure to be transparent, and simply respond to their own contractors is flooring. Why should a contractor be cancelled because they voiced a concern and opinion?! Even after attempting to rectify, Jiffy refuses to provide justified reasons why the cancellation or to continue to work together even after having a stellar review record from clients. Some time ago I used jiffy to repair cracked plastic pipe for the dishwasher. They charged me almost $400 . The technician looked like he was first time on the job. For some reason he did something not correct at the back of the dishwasher and it always small leakage that I noticed only after a while when my cabinet started to pill . I stooped using it immediately but also traveling a lot and could not report to jiffy right away. Uparantly they had 3 months guarantee and refused to fix the problem . The sales team tried to contact me with a deal to save money by joining Jiffy on Demand, after I cancelled it two weeks ago due to damage to my property they were not willing to acknowledge or discount the paid service. I would like to add that Rosita was the head of Customer service, and there is no one else to escalate to beyond that. She really doesn't have good reading comprehension skills and can't seem to truly understand why I was dissatisfied. I asked the team to stop contacting me because I was fed up, and I cancelled my service. Now they are pestering me to "create a new account"!!! This is not a well run company. I have been using Jiffy for 3 years and have had 15 jobs completed. I have a monthly membership which gives me $25 off each job, free unlimited yard bags & free unlimited 25 lb tubs of ice melter. Yard cleanup, brick work on my front walk & fix the steps, fix the lazyboy handle, new hinges on kitchen cupboard doors, etc. I have absolutely no complaints about the pros or the cost. They are all vetted by Jiffy and they are very professional and competent. I love the convenience of getting a pro to do whatever job I need done in no time at all. I don't have to ask friends for a referral, I don't have to spend any time getting 3 quotes, etc. A huge time save for me. Wellison accepted my lawn mowing contract in January 2021. First scheduled date for mowing was May 1st. I requested a week-day visit and he said "No problem." He was a no-show and my grass continued to grow longer. He then said he would come the second weekend in May. No-show again. Grass grew even longer. Third week of May. He changed appt. again to Saturday May 15, 7-8AM. No-show once again. I called Wellison and asked him where he was? He either pretended not to hear me or doesn't know English. I then reported this problem to Jiffy customer service. instead of working to locate a reputable and reliable replacement, they canceled the whole contract. Told me I was basically on my own to find someone else. The lawn is now seriously overgrown and I have nobody to mow it. If this contractor accepts your job, RUN! He is unreliable and has no business being on this app. Shame on Jiffy for not properly vetting this contractor before allowing them to accept jobs they have no intention of performing. Notice on Jiffy, every "pro" has over a 95% rating, most over 98%. But then you cannot even find and read the negative 5% of the review. You know they should be there because it's not 100% but you can't find even one negative review to read. Also Jiffy assigns the pro to you when you post a job, and you don't get to choose, though you can cancel. So what's the point of the ratings? the so-called pro can start a job, to come back with parts and then disappear and then you are on your own. an d you have to post the job anew paying another service call. read more

I was a long time user of Jiffy on demand . I referred all my friends and family . spent over $5000 in the last two years . I bought into the membership and paying $11.99 a month . Recent encounter with representative Rosita was the worst customer service experience I have ever had to deal with. Pro charged me $109 for a $21.99 part . Rosita protected the pro by saying he added travel time to compensate for the price of parts . They remove $42 and called it a day . After 25 completed jobs with Jiffy, I will be removing my app and looking for a company c in my opinion that has better customer service and honesty. read more

I recently required a plumber to remove an old sink and faucet, and install new ones. Someone told me about the Jiffy app, so thought I'd try it. The app is very user-friendly and I loved that I could choose exactly when to have the job done. The plumber (John K) arrived and we talked about the job. He advised that it was a bigger job than expected, so he would need to gather some additional piping and tools. He quoted me an approximate cost, and we rescheduled for another day. And I never heard from him again. Despite my messages to him, he never replied and never showed up. I turned to Jiffy to help me, and although they were apologetic, nothing happened. So I'm pretty sure I won't ever use Jiffy again. read more

Not a good experience with jiffy. I booked a a plumbing job and the service was good, I don't have a problem with the plumber at all. He did a good job. The problem I have is that they ask you if you want to pay for the job, or pay monthly and have a membership for jiffy and get an expense account for 12 months of $1500. so this way you get an extra $600 of work throughout the year . after signing up for the plan I tried to book another job only to find out that the plan only covers a few certain type of jobs not all jobs. So its very misleading. After I found out and cancelled , I was overcharged and had to fight to get back a portion of the money, not all that I was overcharged. And there is no phone customer support. Only through the app through emails. Super frustrating, and not worth the headaches that you get dealing with them. I would never use them again. read more

I've had three experiences with Jiffy, two handypeople and one furniture builder. Two out of three were great, and one was only OK. This is a decent ratio, worth 3-4 stars, but booking through Jiffy is so easy, they deserve five full stars! Their interface rules, all my jobs are picked up by professional, prepared people quickly, and it's just easy easy easy. Literally, done in a jiffy! As a contractor with 10 stars reviews, I was shocked when a non professional jiffy employee called me from a "non caller ID" number and try to get us to agree to minimal prices on our best professional jobs while jiffy will charge us 20% on our work and also on our materials and he said we should give extra $25 promotions on the service we provide. We inquired about jiffy credit as it was magically disappearing and random amounts too. She kept saying that we cancelled jobs but when we replied we had not cancelled job on our end, she got mad and deducted further $15 from our account out of spite. This is what happens when you hire incompetent customer service rep who is taking out on their client instead resolving issues for the company. I cancelled my jiffy membership and won't be reinstating until jiffy rectify this issue. I shared advertisement and they can't just issue credit then take it away when the pro hasn't even submitted his quotation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. The service person Jiffy sent to wash our exterior windows, Jesse Abibila, broke or badly damaged windows as he was taking the screens off the windows and putting them back on. He obviously had no idea what He was doing. This turned into a five-hour nightmare for us going on until 11:00 at night. Many of the screens are still not up, and they require high ladder work to get them up. I have to hire someone else to do that. Several screens have to be rebuilt and repaired. We have had these windows washed many times before. We have never had an experience like this one. I will never use Jiffy again. BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
