I can say enough about the professionalism and quality of work by Keith and Tyler . I was on a business trip traveling form NJ and had some major windshield wiper issues . They immediately took me in and repaired my windshield wiper , changed the oil and rotated the tires. My Atlas truck runs like it's brand new ! Went in for an oil change. Was given a list of "problems" that they could treat for me. I declined and took notes to later ask my normal and trusted mechanic about. Turns out they were trying to get me to buy these products for "problems" that were nonexistent. As for the oils change it was way overpriced. First and last time I go here. I got my oil change done with no problems in that sense. But like any quick lube place, they're gonna try to get you to pay for something extra. They came out and told me my brakes were really bad and I needed new pads and rotors, for about $1k. I had a feeling this wasn't the case so I told them not to change my pads and rotors. Because brakes are the one thing I won't work on myself, I brought it to my local place today to get them checked out just to be sure. I was told by my shop that I have more than half life left on my rears and my fronts look almost brand new. Don't trust this place for anything more than an oil change. Also, I drive a modified car and could hear them revving it in the bay. I know revving can be normal during an oil change, but it was revved on a few different occasions during the oil change. read more

I went in with a flat tire, was not able to plug it by myself. It was such an insignificant job apparently that they did it for free, I can't thank them enough unfortunately, I'm not mechanically inclined, and would not have been able to do that and had I gotten anywhere else it would've cost a pretty penny I'm sure. Fast, easy, friendly fellows who (as far as I know) did a good job. They even put on my new Vermont plates for me, which is super nice. And I came in right before closing on Halloween and no grumbling at all. I did think the price was a little high, coming from California, but they explained that it was due to the current shipping crisis or employment crisis or some crisis that we're all getting used to. We are very pleased with our care here. We needed our tire fixed as we found a large screw in it and could not drive home without having it fixed. We had tried several tire places nearby and no one could fit us in. We spoke with John the general manager who was able to get us in quickly and fixed our tire. There was nothing Jiffy about this lube. 1 hour and 25 minutes from pulling in to paying out on a Thursday morning at 9 am. The worse thing was that I had asked them not to roll down the driver side window because I have a bad regulator on that motor. Sure enough when I went out to the car the window was down. The attendant that escorted me to the vehicle offered no apology. I said in a not very nice manner that I was going to have to drive 300 miles with that damn thing down. After getting on the highway I knew this was not going to happen. I had to turn around and go to the Nissan dealership and wait there for them to get the window up. Another hour and a half wait. I suggest you use the Jiffy Lube in Essex Junction. I have never had a problem at this location. read more

I went 40 minutes until closing time to see if I could get an oil change. A guy originally agreed, and I was headed in to pay. Another guy came out to yell that they close on 40 minutes, and an oil change would take 45 minutes. Then we all stare at each other for 5 mins, until finally I say, "*#%€ it." and walk away. I'll just take my car to the actual dealership. If their customer service is in any way indicative of the work ethic, I wouldn't spend one penny here. Would not recommend. read more

Always overpriced. They always try to upsell - batteries, filters, wiper blades, etc. It gets old. My latest trip there involved a headlight that needed to be replaced. They managed to "fix" it without replacing the bulb, saying it was loose. Two days later, it was out again, necessitating another trip to get it fixed. And this time, a bill for a new bulb. If the bulb needed replacing, replace it the first time. I detest wasting my time for a repair only to find out it didn't work. The salesperson wasn't happy when I questioned why I had a fee today for something allegedly fixed a few days ago. I was told that they replaced the bulb this time and that's what I was paying for. So, why not do it a few days ago? I probably wasn't very polite, but the person behind the register was not polite at all. He essentially offered to charge me nothing because I was clearly unhappy. I just wanted an explanation. I paid, and now I get to advise others to avoid this place like I will in the future. There are times when the price for convenience is simply too high. read more

I went in for an oil change because the light in my car turned on. There was no line, the employee met me outside immediately and told me to pull into the service area. After checking my oil he told me that my oil did not need to be changed yet and that I should come back in 3,000 miles. I was so impressed that rather than taking my money and changing my oil he was honest. He even offered to help me reset the maintenance light and topped off my windshield wiper fluid. First time going to Jiffy Lube. Went in for a an oil change and tire rotation without an appointment on a Saturday morning. They took me in right away. Ryan and Anthony were very professional and helpful, showing me services that my car needed and were respectful when I declined a couple. The waiting room was immaculate with available water, a television and clean restroom. Only 40 minutes later my car was done! Excellent work! I should have known better. Jiffy Lube, in general, has a terrible reputation for shoddy work and shifty business principles (upselling un-needed items, topping off fluids and back charging, charging for and never doing service). I was desperate for an oil change and was 300 miles from home. I sat outside for at least 45 minutes waiting to pull into the bay. Despite have four bays there were only two cars in there at a time, and only three people working the whole establishment and it seemed at least half of their time was spent bickering with each other in the bay or out on a smoke break. The oil changer down in the pit is also the guy who "washes" your windows. I bet you can imagine how that turned out; dirty oil streaks all over my windshield. I should have gone down the block to Oil n Go, but they had a line back out to the street. I guess I know why given the alternative. read more

Today was my second time here and while I was satisfied my first time today exceeded my expectations! They have their COVID practice dialed... pulled right in to the bay, stayed in the car and got my oil changed and a new battery in 20 min!!!!!! I know timing is everything at these places but not only were they fast, they were professional. If you are crystal clear about what you want it's going to cost you $50 for basic change. They are nice but do upsell in a way you don't even realize you're agreeing to additional charges (vacuum car, air fliter, etc). I had to push back to get the basic. Next time ill ask upfront before they take my car. I suggest also asking at the START how long you will have to wait. When they guide you in , you get the feeling it will take 15-20 min. You find yourself often waiting much longer - not so quick. Finally, you do NOT need to give them anything but your name for their computer system. read more

The team here was fast but I go to places that take of my car for me because I'm not a mechanic and I don't know any better. The day after my service my car had a REALLY hard time starting. I stopped by another jiffy lube as I was traveling and they said to go by another jiffy line who told me my battery indicator said it needed to be replaced. I don't doubt this, but why didn't anyone tell me this 2 frickin' days ago? I drive 5+ hours a day...isn't part of their job to check things like this? read more

The customer service at this Jiffy Lube location was excellent from start to finish. Although they did mention the obligatory up-sale items, they were not pushy at all. I will never be a customer of Jiffy Lube's again. You get what you pay for. This was my second to last trip to a Jiffy Lube and last trip to this one. I brought in my Audi to this garage about a year ago which requires that a skid/wind/dirt guard to be removed in order to access the oil filter. They never replaced the inserts which hold in the guard after they were done. I am not sure if they forgot or wanted to make a few extra bucks since these are a costly little part to buy from Audi. A week or so after my oil change, I was driving on the highway when I suddenly heard a loud dragging noise. I pulled over to find that guard dragging on the ground with a sizable fresh hold worn in it. Disappointment and frustration swept over me. That was a costly part to replace and an unnecessary headache. read more

The service was courteous, professional, they didn't try to up sell or oversell me on anything. I read the Yelp reviews and thought it was worth giving Jiffy Lube a try since I needed an inspection. Although I was able to drive right in, they took almost an hour and half for an oil change and inspection. I watched as the "technician" took a wrench and slammed it into parts on the bottom of my car supposedly looking for rusty areas. After much violent poking and prodding of the underside of my car they told me I couldn't pass inspection because I neeeded new rotors and brake pads. I explained that I had had a complete brake job done one year ago and I only had 2,000 miles on the car since then. They said they could not pass the vehicle because the rotors were warped and rusty. I took the car to the dealership that had done the brake work. They had me join them under my car as they showed me the rotors still had the original machining marks on them and the brake pad grease wasn't even dirty yet! They passed the car easily and gave me an inspection sticker on the spot. I went back to Jiffy Lube and told all of this to the Manager. He apologized - said he would talk to the technician - and he said he would refund my inspection charge. That has not happened yet. I have called twice to speak to the manager and he will not come to the phone. Now they are not answering the phone and I let it ring until the phone company disconnects. This is not how you run a business. I will not be going back. read more

They of course offered options that were more expensive just like any other car place but I didn't feel pressured to buy any of it. SO MUCH BETTER THAN MIDUS!!! Staff was friendly and waiting room was clean, but my oil change wasn't very Jiffy. 70 minutes for a lube, oil and filter at 9:30am in a Monday with two cars ahead of me.
