Nice convenient location. When I was here there was no wait so they go to my vehicle right away. I did not have to suffer through them trying to upsell me services. There is a small waiting area with a couple of TVs. I wasn't in there long as they quickly got the work done and sent me on my way. Looking over their work on my own, everything appears to have been done correctly without issue. Time! This is the slowest Jiffy Lube I have ever visited. Very disappointed in the customer service. My car was pushed over to a different bay and the truck arriving after me was completed well before mine. Simple oil change- no issues reported to me. Jiffy Lube #1915 Helena Montana Jiffy Lube I went into Jiffy Lube today because my regular oil change place, Eagle Tire, had just closed. I have never felt more demeaned, taken advantage of and ripped off. $79 for an oil change, upsold to no end, and the guy "in charge" telling me that he knows EVERYTHING about cars. They took off the bottom panel of my car and then claimed it was broken in half and they couldn't put it back on because it was a liability. I LOVE dogs but do you want to know what a liability is? Keeping two big dogs unattended in your waiting room. I spent 15 minutes on the bottom piece of my car (that was NOT broken in half) when I got home and reattached it. To put this another way - I arrived with a bottom panel of my car and I left with it in my trunk. Yet, at a service station wouldn't you expect your car to be in better condition when you leave. What a terrible experience! I'm so sad that a place treats a woman like this in 2019 - this is how they treated me - they told me I need a transmission flush - I know I got one a year and half ago. I know why I have electric issues with my car. I know this because I have a trusted mechanic who know my financial limitations AND very much has my safety at heart. I saw the billboard for this Jiffy Lube that said veteran owned with a picture of this young man's family. What a joke! Don't go here. I have been so sad about my treatment all day. And the end of my demeaning experience I was walked to my car where the guy in charge tried to opened my door for me and explained the noise my car was making. Horrible service. I brought vehicle here today and no one greeted me. I got out of vehicle walked inside where I didn't find anyone. Sat for about 10 minutes where you could see all the employees walk by without saying a word and walking around huffing and puffing like the world was ending. Ended up leaving when a guy said they were busy. That was hilarious hearing considering I came from Denver where they were actually busy and still greeted and were friendly. read more

If I could give a lower rating I certainly would. I recently took my vehicle in for an oil change. While they were servicing the vehicle they had me go under the vehicle to show me an oil leak. It seemed odd that I would have a leak when there is no evidence of it on the ground where it is parked at home. So they went ahead and changed the oil. Three days later all of the oil came spewing out of the vehicle. The vehicle had to be towed the dealership. The dealership called and said that the problem was caused by one of the O rings being cut. The oil change at Jiffy Lube cost me $90 and after their screw up it's now costing $400 to fix/cleanup their mistake. I will definitely be getting in touch with them over this and will never return as a customer again and will also tell anyone I know to avoid this place. read more

Talk about over priced. Unbelievable how much they charge for an oil change. It should come with a tire rotation, fluid top off, and tires checked. When asked if I wanted to do all of that, it was another $40... This was by far the worst service I've ever had. I will not go back, not for the price, and how little they do for $80! read more

I have a very specific complaint. The Jiffy Lube service team damaged my truck. During a recent visit, I notified them that I had a low tire pressure light on my truck. The salesperson acknowledged that and asked me whether I would like to rotate my tires during this service. I agreed. As I waited for service, I noticed that the service professionals placed the lug directly in their air gun when tightening them (where I would always recommend hand tightening the lug before applying the gun). In this case, the lug was cross threaded and stripped. I didn't notice it at the time (who would). After my tires had been rotated and I entered my vehicle, I noticed that my low tire pressure light was still on. I notified the service technicians and they rectified their mistake on the spot. Still, I left with the distinct impression that I had received less than professional service. The damage confirms my impression. I recently got a flat on that tire. When the folks at AAA came to change the tire, they notified me that the nut had been stripped and that they could not replace that lug on the tire (you cannot cross thread a nut while taking it off). So, I proceeded to a tire repair facility in town on four lugs to get it repaired. They confirmed the story that I had been given by AAA and notified me that whoever changed this tire last had irreparably damaged the lug and the nut. The Jiffy Lube service team were the last persons to change that tire. I called Mike, the manager, about the damage, but Mike insisted that unless I could prove that he damaged the lug he could not reimburse me for the damage. Of course, under these circumstances, I cannot prove anything. Mike believes that I am lying and that I incurred damage elsewhere and am asking him to pay for something that was not his fault. He is protecting the business from the unscrupulous and the disingenuous. I get that. However, let's imagine for a moment that I am an upstanding member of the community, a truth teller and a solid citizen. Further, let's imagine that they did damage my automobile and that I am incurring the cost of their mistake. Since Jiffy Lube does not have a relationship of trust with their customers, I believe that I am left with only one remedy. I am moving my business. I would recommend that you steer clear of them as well. read more

I took my car here for an oil change and long story short, they over-filled the oil by 1 quart to many. This resulted in too much oil pressure and blown head gaskets. I called the location manager and explained the situation, and he only offered me a free oil change to make amends for the damage they caused. I didn't need a free oil change, I needed new gaskets. After further discussion, the manager told me directly, that they have had problems with certain employees that were intentionally screwing with customer cars. (Like not tightening oil drain plugs so the oil slowly leaks out over time, and stupid stunts like that.) I attempted to reach the franchise owner, but surprise! He avoided my calls like the plague. Not willing to even discuss serious service problems. My advice would be to avoid this Jiffy Lube. read more

I received an immediate response from corporate advising the franchise owner would contact me right away in regards to my complaint. Guess I should have read the reviews first. I thought replacing a headlight was simple and i made sure they had one fitting my car. Standing in line, i should have smelled trouble because there were two people in line pissed off at the desk guy, who kept explaining "I'm sorry, we're not mechanics." Came in to have all my fluids changed. Great personal service. They completed the entire service in a timely manner. They even offered coupons (which I didn't have) to discount their service. Which was great. It was also suggested to come back the next day to ensure that the radiator flushed I had was flowing correctly. I appreciated that. They get my highest recommendation. read more

I received absolutely excellent service here. My truck was lugging, and I came to Jiffy Lube on a recommendation from AutoZone after mechanics in town wanted to charge me upwards of $50 *just* to diagnose my engine (more if they didn't get it done in under 30 minutes)! Wacy, Jay, James, and Nick at JiffyLube all took over 2 hours of their time on two separate days to check out my truck, and then gave me advice on how to proceed. None of them were ever condescending, they explained everything they were looking at and answered every question I had patiently and truthfully. I never felt that they were getting exasperated with my lack of knowledge, they seemed genuinely happy to help me learn! They also told me to take it for a test run to make sure problems were fixed rather than just sending me on my way. Awesome service from really friendly and helpful technicians. read more

Came in strictly for an oil change. It wasn't busy at 3:30 PM and took maybe half an hour to complete. The technician helping me was very friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is the upselling of products and other services. It was easy enough to say no and they offered me multiple options of oil and never pressured me into the higher priced stuff. Wish there was a lower rating. I needed a oil change and a new fuel filter for a company truck. Our office is out of the area and getting a PO approved is a pain by its self. The guy at the front desk informed me that they might be out of the fuel filter so I told him I only have the 1 PO and that I would have to go somewhere else. Then he punched up something on the computer and told me that they do have it in stock and it won't be a problem. 30 minutes later a older gentleman told me my truck was done but they couldn't change the fuel filter because they were out. I'll be contacting Jiffy Lube next and informing them of the scam they pulled on me and informing them of all the other complains that I've read on Yelp(much to late). Stopped in for a simple basic oil change and was amazed by how thorough they went over and checked everything. The guy working was kind and I really felt my suv was taken care of. After thanking and complimenting him for the best service we've received at a Jiffy Lube, he said something along the line of he treats his customers how he would want his daughter treated. Sweet. Not sure why people are complaining about prices, doing a full synthetic on my suv myself literally only saves me $5. Jiffy Lube's prices are going up across the country, even though the price of oil is on the downswing, oddly enough. Our local Jiffy Lube is not exempt from this trend. They decided to go over their "new" pricing after they had drained my oil. $99 was the starting point, asking me if I wanted them to dump an array of solvents and lubricants into my gas tank and oil system. I declined and said, "I just want you to change my oil." The technician tried several more price points, each time subtracting an unnecessary product or service until we reached $59. The technician said this was the cheapest oil change. I reminded them that my last oil change was $44.99 ($49 including the 6th quart for my truck) and asked what happened to that package. He tapped the F4 button on his keyboard and the $44.99 oil change showed up on the screen. He said it's still in the system, but the owner/manager is getting rid of it soon and the technicians aren't supposed to sell it anymore. My question: Why? Many of us just want a 5 to 6 qt oil change, chassis lube, air filter check, visual inspection, etc. $45-$50 is a reasonable price, but anything above that for regular motor oil is robbery. Bottom line: Helena Jiffy Lube, stop gouging your customers and you'll probably get more of them... they might even leave your shop delighted and not feeling like their pocket was just picked. read more

Went there for an oil change too the guy said I needed a flush since he sees dirt that could be in my engine. (They also couldn't see oil on my dipstick either) so I thought what the heck do that too. They couldn't get my hood up, they didn't know how to open it! Wow!!! 30-35 minutes, they said. "No problem I've got time" I Got there at 2:30 and my oil change was completed in 1 hour and 40 minutes! They went through the check list of all of the things they claimed to have done to my car. The girl says " I can't get your wiper fluid light to go off" I'm very impatient at this point and thought to myself .... Ah you put fluid into the reservoir marked with the wipers on it. Ugh. We were traveling in our RV and decided to be vigilant and get an oil change. We went to the Jiffy Lube at 1330 Cedar Street in Helena, MT. My husband mentioned to the employee that he is very meticulous about the maintenance of his vehicles and would normally do it himself but I didn't want to get dirty while traveling. After an almost two hour wait, the oil change was complete. They said they topped off all fluids including the wiper fluid. One employee said that the oil did not register on the stick, yet my husband had just checked the oil before we went into the Jiffy Lube and the level had not changed throughout our 3,000 mile trip. With that in mind, after the oil change we went to a gas station to top off the gas tank and check the oil. It had been over filled by approximately 3 quarts. He also discovered that the windshield wiper fluid had not been touched. It was at the same level as it was prior to this visit. This leads us to mistrust anything else was done as promised. We drove back to have them drain the extra oil to avoid having the engine blow and they put us at the back of the line again. So we left and my husband drained 2.5 quarts himself at an O'Reilly's. While everyone was polite, their service was substandard. read more

VERY dishonest! Never going back and am telling my friends and family to steer clear from Jiffy Lube in Helena on Cedar St. Went in for an oil change. They have me a price on oil change of $44.99 and they had a person holding a sign out front for $10 off an oil change so figured I would be getting a good deal on oil change. They pulled my car into the bay and brought in a couple filters from my car and asked if I would like them replaced. They looked pretty dirty so I said sure go ahead and replace them and asked how much it would cost and he said he would have to figure it out and he would let me know. Would not give me an amount until the new filters were already put in. They charged me $60 for a cabin filter and $28 for an air filter. I said that can't be correct. He said that is what the computer says and that is what we charge. I should have made them put the old ones back in. The total charge was $132.97. I asked if he took the $10 off for the special they were running. He acted clueless and I said there was a guy holding a sign out front...and he said oh like he didn't know anything about and the guy was no longer out front holding the sign. He did end up giving me $10 off but not until I asked for it. Called around town to get a quote on an oil change and the two filters I had changed and found out I was totally ripped off by about $60. Very upset so called them up and explained that I was over charged and what were they going to do about it. They said we aren't going to do anything and that I was charged correctly. I told them that they just lost my business and He said OK instead of making it right with me. Very poor way to run a business. Don't ever patronize them. A Disappointed visit at JIFFY LUBE in Helena mt. I'm not one to complain but this has push my button. I decided to come and get a simple oil change and inspect my under carriage vehicle. The day before i vac. my car and bought bottle of windshield fluid at walmart and filled res to top. I pulled my car behind a truck that was in the bay. i got out and service guy came to greet me and i gave him my key, then left office area. A young girl in other bay getting service her car radiator flushed. for time she waiting because of the truck problem that employee kept complaining about. They offered $ 15.00 discount in apology. Customer ser. tech.he is not customer friendly kind of young man he was rude to me.Now hour passed I finally get.my car in sev. ( J ) giving me quotes prices oil change because 1997 nissan 128,000 mi. high milage we recommend 89.00dollar oil service i passed next 69.00 passed last was 59.99. So here i,m stuck paying 59.99 for my stupid mistake and course no discount offered for me. Service was done i was done. They did all these to my vehicle and i know they washed my windows and i somehow thank them for that I'm heated i needed to leave thinking to my self. Today i looked phone book local yellow pages no listing then had to go white pages to find it. That red flag. This place had the worst customer service ever. When I pulled up there was my car and 2 others. The man came and said that it wouldn't be more than 30 minutes. A hour goes by and I go outside to see what is going on. There is now 1 car in the bay and 1 that was being worked on not even in the building. I believe his was one of guys girlfriend. There were 5 men working, 3 were smoking around the corner and 1 was working on the car in the bay, which at this point had been there for close to 2 hours! I told them that I was going next door to get lunch and 1 one of them ok and hopefully they would be able to work on my car when I got back. I took my food to go and when I got back they were finishing up the chick who wasn't even a customer! I got so mad I got in my car to leave. I noticed my hood was open and when I went to unlatch it all the way, it wouldn't open! Turns out one of the guys closed the hood with a clip board left on the engine block, really?! It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. Not one of them apologized and they actually had the nerve to tell me to come back later!
