Yo do NOT let these people touch your car. They will do unnecessary and POORLY done replacements and will ruin your car down the line. They replaced my coils and spark plugs ( which mind you wasn't even the root problem of my car) just for my car to still have the same issue and then not start. Took my car to a trusted mechanic and was told this location did a horrible job putting coils that don't even fit my vehicle's size. Overall avoid this place if you can. They're nice and well mannered but they don't have experienced mechanics. I'm lucky to be alive to even write this review after driving an unsafe vehicle poorly serviced by these guys. read more

The only reason why I deducted a star, was because this is intended to be a quick in-and-out routine oil change drive-thru, but I waited almost an hour to be seen. I complained to the manager and he brought me in himself. Said he was short staffed for the day, okay understandable! Once I finally got my car in, staff was very polite and informative! The oil change itself was at most 15 minutes. Would go again! read more

The staff at the Farmingdale location was great. My oil change took about 20 minutes to complete. The waiting room was clean and airy with complimentary coffee and water. I had asked to have my tires inflated but unfortunately their machine was down. I was told I could come back any time to have the tires done, so I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in the Farmingdale area! Thanks to the team at JL! read more

Always a pleasure coming here. I live around Merrick and I drive to this jiffy lube every time. Without a doubt they alway give me the best deals and always help me out with everything I need. Staff is BEYOND amazing. Always have a great smile and attitude. There's not a day I leave jiffy lube that I'm not satisfied with my service. Lou does an amazing job at keeping everything in order as well as having amazing customer service skills. I've gone to several jiffy lubes and no where I've gone has this type of service. Not a good Jiffy Lube. Most of the Jiffy Lubes I've been to I've had a great experience. This one is run by some young unorganized kids who are very unprofessionally. I strongly suggest they receive some remedial training on ethics, professionalism, and customer service or this one is going to sink. read more

9/5/19: i now have to take back my previous review ... our car had a vibration and ticking which we did advise on. When we left the sound and vibration continued and we were advised to give it a day for the oil and antifreeze flush to lubricate the engine...well $200 later... we took our car to our trusted mechanic only to be told that there was in fact a leak, the cylinders are shot, we need a New engine and the antifreeze flush was not necessary...now we are out of a car and out $200 shame on you! My husband I were troubled by our vehicle that had a shaking and rumbling sound...we were certain it would cost us a mint...we were relieved when Mike aka Dr. Mike took care of our issues, explained what had to be done and gave of some further incentives for free oil and windshield wiper fluid refills just for having serviced our vehicle at their center...highly recommend taking your car service issues there...many thanks Dr. Mike...best, Lucia and Eno Rivera read more

i went to this location 6 months ago to get my rear brakes done the manager lou at the location tried to charge me 600 for just rear brakes and rotors. after he applied some discount code took it down to a little over 500. this was supposed to be with a 1 year 12000 warranty. after just 6 months my brakes were completely finished! went back to get them serviced through the warranty and he now says the warranty is only 3 months 3000 miles! I have never paid that much for brakes and even worse never had them go bad so quickly. He lied about everything and wanted me to pay full price again!! This was absurd! he needs to be stopped! Corporate has to do something about managers like him that lie and rip people off! read more

When I arrived I was told that I need to pay cash and I would need to take out money from another ATM because theirs was not working. I asked how much for a regular oil change and the worker stated $60 cash. I found that to be extremely high for an oil change. I left and didn't go back. Very disappointed in Jiffy Lubes prices. read more

I typically come to Jiffy Lube for my oil changed so I can have a record of all the changes I need (e.g battery, filters, wipers, etc). I came to this location in Farmingdale as it has the best reviews of all the Jiffy Lubes around. They did not disappoint. All the guys were so nice. Offered me something to drink even though we no longer can get out of our vehicles. They were efficient and I was in and out. They provided their recommendations but didn't feel like they were pushing me into anything like some other locations. Overall happy with the customer service! Thank you guys!!! read more

Wow. Been here an hour and it's taking forever. Never have I spent this much time at a Jiffy Lube and it's not busy at all. All employees are just so preoccupied with texting and taking calls that my car has been sitting with the air filter out for 40 min. This is absurd and I'm about to go nuts. Jiffy Lube you need to have corporate step in and get a manager that is a leader. This guy is as bad as the employees. read more

They have some very underhanded tactics here including collusion and thievery not to mention great deception. I used to love getting my car oil changed here now that all changed once this new manager and staff arrived. They look like a bunch of miserable people working on cars. They used to vacuum and wash my windows and change the antifreeze, now all of a sudden the oil change package doesn't come with it. Everything seems rushed and overall I'm not satisfied with this place. I used to love the old crew especially the African American guy that had the Bob Marley hat, he was awesome, you could tell he loved what he was doing even if it was doing oil changes. So they diagnosed my car to have a trans mission leak when in fact it was a loose washer in the oil tank that was causing the leak. Another mechanic showed me the actual leak no where near the transmission. The manager at jiffy lube should be fired. Maybe he should focus on his job instead of texting while on the job. read more

I got an oil change a few months back before traveling and my oil change light came on. I went back to get them to turn the light off. There was no one in the office and I waited there for 25 minutes for someone to help me. I finally walked into the garage and saw ALL the workers hotboxing in a car. They finally came into the office and they REEKED of weed. They were so high they could barely help me and turn the light off. It made me very uncomfortable. Jiffy lube is a fine business however I will NEVER return to the farmingdale location. read more

This is my 3rd trip to this Jiffy Lube. They've now spent the greater part of 25 minutes trying to determine which oil filter my truck takes. It's been 50 minutes and I'm the only car in the station. This is the worst service I've ever received. read more

Been here 3 times for oil changes. Fast service, last time I was in for a regular oil change and it took only about 15 minutes. Employees seemed friendly and went over all of the specs related to the car/what they checked. For me that is something I appreciated because I'm not exactly a car person lol. COULD HAVE SEVERELY DAMAGED MY CAR! Went in yesterday for a oil change. Asked the "mechanic" to check the coolant level. Seems simple enough. They let me know the coolant level was low and I asked them to fill it. Service was completed, I left & went back to work. Two hours later on my break something told me to check under the car. Sure enough the car is leaking coolant. Long story short took my car to my regular mechanic and they had overfilled the coolant which caused the leak and also they did not remove a square plate when they changed the oil which led to oil being all over the engine, they also had added a quart too much. Luckily I brought it to my mechanic when I did before any major damage and they drained a quart of oil and cleaned the engine. Also, on my invoice it stated that the overfill was checked (obviously not), that they vacuumed & washed the exterior windows, which they did not. The only compliment I could give was to the cashier, Francys. She was really nice and seemed to be the only one there who knew her job - the one star is for her. read more

This location is the best Jiffy Lube!! Staff is efficient, caring and professional. I am definitely going back! I was able to get my oil change on my lunch break and make it back to work in time. I was hesitant if I would have enough time so I called to ask if it was possible. I spoke with Mike. Mike told me not to worry, when I get there ask for him so he could make sure I get taken care of.
