Jiffy was my go to car wash for over twenty years before I moved from the area two years ago. So naturally I brought my car in for The Works while visiting family in Kennewick. Very disappointed in the quality of the service, both inside and out. I debated requesting they do it over but did not due to pressing family commitments. Customer service from the ones that dry my vehicle. A young man got in my vehicle went to start it when it was already running going through car wash. I said no it's already on and he preceded I said louder stop it lease and he started again. I said stop he said stop yelling. I said you aren't listening he told me it's no big deal and I said yes it is he said this 3 or more time no respect no give a dam for my handicap van these aren't cheap and he said it's no big deal. I'm not one to go off on young people but this young man doesn't listen and he arguing with me as if he has no give a dam. The owner never came out and the daughter was on the workers side. I don't know why this place has such mediocre reviews. After having come here to get my car washed several times now, I have found the staff to be incredibly friendly and their service is incredibly quick. In addition, it is clear to me that the workers work really hard here and it's a pretty solid car wash. As a disclaimer, I cannot speak to the true value of the wash for what you pay as my washes here were covered by Speck Hyundai and the type of wash I got was the basic level of wash. But, if anything, you would think that those factors would have a negative impact on my experience if anything (which it did not). My only gripe about this location is that it is sometimes hard to get pull out the parking lot of this location when there's a lot of traffic as it is on a busy street and thinking back to my first time coming here, I almost passed it as it is easy to pass/miss. But overall, I don't see this as a reason to knock off points in my book--it's a great car wash from people that work hard and are friendly. Highly recommend this place! read more

First time visit today on a fleet vehicle. Had a coworker drive since he'd been there years ago. Was met by a rude attendant that yelled that we needed a sticker. He showed her the sticker and she proceeded to rudely tell us it needs to be in the window. Then handed something to the driver and asked if he put the sticker in yet, give him a minute already. I got out to use the restroom, while in there I heard someone yelling at my coworker "that was a DICK move not putting the sticker in the window". I finished, washed up and asked coworker if that was a buddy of his.He replied he'd never met the guy. I told him I would have taken the rig and left. The attendant inside gave me the crying symbol at which I commentate that is terrible costumer service. Will NEVER STOP THERE AGAIN. Still had bug spots and streaks on the window. read more

Woah!! Where do I start!! First off, they put a bug cleaner and have you drive in the car wash. But you can't see through the windshield because of the bug cleaner so we had to use the windshield whippers to clear it off to see. Once we got through the washer our car was drying and the old lady who was wearing very tight to the body clothing. Kept waving at us to followed her but our car was still drying. She seems upset with us because we didn't follow her since our car was still drying. Once out She then started drying the windows and had us roll down the window to pay!! This action was aggressive, we aren't going anywhere just waiting on a dry lady. Took our money and left. We rolled back up the window and it now had water streaks. What a joke!! read more

I didn't get before photos but my car was not really a disaster but just a lot of grass gravel debris you bring into your car spills etc. But this is the after and this is a 2013 car so they made it look pretty nice for being almost a 10 year old car. The only thing I would wish they did better was the wheels had brake dust still on the rims that I'm going to have to finish off wiping. But you know what? 15 years ago I got a detail on my car in Seattle for $300 and they didn't do nearly as good. For inflation that would be $400 today. This was only $250.00. So it was well worth the money and I will go back! read more

They rushed me through upfront and didn't explain my options. I wanted the "Supreme", which is their top of the line car wash. It's 36 bucks and I paid it and tipped on top of that. At the end when I found my trunk wasn't vacuumed out I asked the front desk and was told they don't do that unless you pay an extra 2 bucks. Then one of their staff gets in my face a little bit and demands I take it around since I didn't "understand". Here's what I understand. I got a full service care wash today. This includes the interior. I drive a Tesla, not that it should matter. I'm outside watching two girls inside my car fumbling around with the screen, instead of cleaning. The older one gets out and explains, "who would waste their money on this?". I raised my hand and said, "I would!". They get out of my car and I hand the younger one the receipt, which states I spent $25.00 for full service. Great service and wash! I had just driven over 2500 miles in my brand new car across country, and my car desperately needed a wash to get all the bugs off the front. However, when the guy started to spray my windshield, my rain-sensing wipers came on! I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to shut them off, but luckily the guy washing my car did. (Whew!) Two fellas then proceeded to scrub my car thoroughly before sending it through the automatic wash. And after my car went through the wash, it was dried off very quickly by a woman (she only missed one spot, which I discovered after an hour - at first it looked like there was a HUGE scratch in my door, but after I almost fainted my dad rubbed it a little and realized it was just some soap residue that had dried on the door - double whew!!) And - because my mom insisted on paying - she got a senior citizen discount. This place was super nice, and with a little more diligence to the drying I would definitely give it 5 stars!! read more

This is FALSE advertising! His sign on the door says ... Until 5:00 PM! He closes off access at 4:45 and will not allow anyone in after that! I acknowledge that a business can set any hours it wants to. But it should honor whatever it posts! $250 detail job. Are they kidding!! They will not accept any complaint, they just call 911 and have the police make you leave. They told me that they haven't had a single complaint in 46 years. Hmmm!!! Total rip-off and con job supported by the police. All they did was wash my truck and give it a hot wax. Water spots all over the vehicle. Rude people who try to intimidate you. Great experience getting my car washed today. Just got back from Seattle, and needed the bugs washed away. Stopped here since it was nearby and got the full -- washed car, hand towel dried, vacuumed inside and Interior hand wiped down (including Windows). Friendly staff, quick and fast. We brought my car into the Jiffy Car Wash today and bought the supreme for $38. Okay we have been there before, and they did a much better job in the past. For $38 I expected more than a less than 5 min. wipe down. The floor mats were still dirty and there was still sticky stuff on the windshield. Will not go back. read more

Well, after they washed my truck 2 times, I drove home. I looked at the front of the truck and saw a big dirt strip down the hood and all of the area below the windshield was still covered in dirt. The entire grill was still covered in Dirt as well. After the 3rd wash it is still not clean. Its ridiculous. I was told my truck was clean by the manager and that I should not come back. They said the job they did was really good compared to what they usually do and inam eccentric. I guess wanting a clean makes me eccentric. Dont waste your money. I like this car wash, it's fast, no long lines, friendly crew. They could get a better rating, if they just take a little more time on the wipe down. I usally get the "the works" which is a little pricey & leave a $5 tip because these kids work hard in the heat & could use the money .... Had an item stolen off my seat the last trip, didn't notice it for a couple of days, I know it was the guy doing the vacuuming because he gave me a dirty look when I drove in, hire crap people and get crap service. ... Took my car in and paid for the Supreme package, did an ok job on the outside, but the vacuum never touched the rear seat area...left a nice tip too, but didn't check the interior until much later. Not a good job guys, and the wheels were not done completely. They were not terribly busy at the time, so I don't understand the half assed job. read more

I use to consider Jiffy to be one of the very best car washes in the nation (seriously). Sadly it's been in a slow decline over the years. Last time it was a gal popping off with a smart comment when she knocked the mirror off my car. I went inside to express my displeasure which fell of deaf ears so her tip went from $10 to $1 and I let her know I felt she needed to keep her smart mouth to herself. Today, we get to the front of the line and the person writing the service tickets completely avoided us. We were next in line, he walked off, came back a couple minutes later, wouldn't even look at us, decided to go vacuum another car to avoid us, so we backed out of the line and left. 10 minutes of this crap is way too much! No one deserves to touch anyone's car with acting that way. I would rate the business lower because they appear to have trouble getting good help and keeping them around. But, that's a management problem. People don't like to manage people anymore... Through it's decline, we've always felt we were still supporting a family owned and operated business. At some point we have to draw the line and give someone else a try who may earn our business each and every time we visit. My first time here and I will definitely be back as well tell everyone I encounter what an amazing job they did! First, the staff and owner were incredibly friendly. It made the time go by quickly. They have popcorn, coffee, and water available for you while you waited. Prices are super reasonable. I had gone camping and there was dirt and dog hair everywhere! First time I took my Honda Accord to get the $45 Hand Wax coupon advertised in a flyer. I was disappointed because they told me it'd be about an hour, sort of a mini detail, when actually it only took about about 20 mins. I noticed the person (a male) who didn't seem too much into waxing the car, swiping a cloth over the back of the car while talking to someone who had pulled in. I went over to inspect and asked what kind of wax they used and he showed me some type of spray bottle. When my car was brought around, I inspected the outside and noticed some missed spots from the waxing which I pointed out. Was not pleased with the $45 worth I spend, should've just done the $28 job. read more

Avoid this place if you want a clean car!! I commute a good distance for work hence i get a lot of bugs on my truck and i don't like to deal with the mess.... My truck goes through the wash and comes out the girl wipes it down, and she tells me its done. I do a quick walk around and there are still bugs all over my grill and my bumper. I politely go inside and tell the cashier that my truck still has bugs on the front. She takes it and puts it through the wash again. I'm informed a second time that my truck is done. I do a walk around and still bugs. I go and tell the cashier that there are still bugs. About this time a grumpy old man storms up and huffs at me " That truck is clean i did it myself!" I bring the guy out and show him the bugs and express my disappointment in the quality of work and ask him if he feels that my truck is clean from what he sees? He keeps stating repeatedly that the truck is clean because he did it! I tell him to give me the rag he had in his hand and I'll clean it myself. The cashier comes out of the office and starts helping me clean my truck because it was obvious I was not happy and cleaning the truck i paid to have cleaned. She apologizes repeatedly and says she is sorry that the owner is being this way and that he is a grumpy old man. My question is what happened to customer satisfaction? What happened to taking pride in the work you business does? Who lets a customer finish a job they paid you to do? What happened to doing the job until its done right? I will not be returning to this car wash ever! I will not recommend anyone to go here if they want a clean car!
