The lady from the front showed us to the sunroom and locker room and personally showed me to my locker. She did not mention there is a sauna available without a special reservation. I unfortunately didn't see anyone around after our service to ask. I asked afterwards when we paid . This was quite disappointing, considering there's no hot tub for relaxing before a massage other than sitting in the sunroom on the lovely warm salt lamp for your feet. The massage was great. Be sure to ask for the scalp massage. The menu said online that with the 80 minute massage it was included, but I didn't receive one. I did ask for targeted service (neck etc) so perhaps that replaced the time. Enjoy post service bubbly in your robe in the sunroom! TLDR: ask for sauna location if you're unfamiliar. Consider booking before 5pm for best service.

He always starts every session asking if anything has been particularly bothersome as of late, or if there are any areas I feel need extra attention. When he works on you, you can sense that this is someone who truly knows what they are doing. For me personally, his massages are part tension relaxation and part assisted muscle stretching, which I need desperately. When he massages me, we both gain an understanding of where I carry much of my pain and after he works out much of the rigidity of my more stressed muscles, he is extremely insightful with various stretches to preform to help relieve much of the tension. I can tell you from experience, if you follow his stretching tips, you'll feel the difference! Overall, David is great at what he does and can tailor a massage to your specific needs. I made the decision 3 years ago that instead of taking any medications or winding up the emergency room that I would see a massage therapist. I have experimented with people over the years in different areas I have lived and nobody comes close to what Diedre does. She specializes as an orthopedic massage therapist, but also does lymphatics and ankyloglossia (tongue tied mainly in children). Since I have started seeing Diedre, I have not wound up in the emergency room for my back spasms ever. During this covid pandemic when she was shut down for months my back could feel the difference and it was the first time I had to take a muscle relaxer a couple times in years. I have an extremely high pain tolerance, and have had most massage therapists say its strange how deep they can go without it hurting me while they are doing it. Diedre does deep tissue massage but in a way where you don't feel like you were beaten the next day while working out more kinks/knots then the people who use their elbows to do the same thing. Lastly, she does this service in her home and has the most amazing and friendly dog ever. I don't know how you could walk away not smiling when you see him and experience Diedre's warm personality. I was quoted by Diane on Saturday 155.00 just for bleaching my hair, if i then wanted baby lites in, it would be 3 something!!! What exactly is 3 something, is that an amount they decide they want to charge you after already pricing you something completely different?? I felt like I was being scammed and taken advantage of. I asked the stylist to rinse off the bleach , I paid, which I should have just let them call the police and deal with it in court, but I paid 140.00 to walk out of the salon with orange hair. Michelle (owner) called and before I said anything I wanted to hear what they told her, of course it didn't match up and it wasn't just because I was there and witnessed it, but I recorder the session and definitely different than what was told to Michelle. Michelle said this isn't about money, but yet refused to refund my money but offered services in exchange. Would you really want a service done there not knowing if they will change the price on you unexpectedly? I did dispute the charge and will have to wait 30 days to find out. He was (exceedingly) gentle, which is a bit odd compared to other barbers I've had, but he got the job done. I told him what parts I liked short and told him whatever seems appropriate for the rest. Overall: I went here originally because the place I normally go to (Melissa's) was closed today. If I knew about this place first, I would have come here every time.
