Ji Coupon is the Hitchhiker's Guide to Koreatown.
It's a quality, full-color coupon book with ads full of Korean restaurants, shops and services. The book (and its companion web site) is in Korean only, but the basics are easy to understand for non-speakers. Each store includes a map, and the coupon also lists the percentage discounts in English.
Ji Coupon is available in most of the Korean shops in Koreatown. It's a good resource to have for outsiders who wish to go native. Another is the L.A. Weekly's guide from a few years ago.
Koreatown has some of the best transit service in all of L.A., and it's very convenient for a $3 day pass.
