DO NOT USE JG MOVING SOLUTIONS! YOU WILL REGRET IT! The owner, Johnathan Black, gave us a what we thought was a professional estimate and sounded like a good moving company. On the day of the move they showed up 12 hours late at nearly midnight. We received very limited communication and thought we had been scammed. During the estimate Johnathan Black said they would bringing two 27 foot trucks. They showed up with a 20 foot trailer and a 10 foot uhaul at MIDNIGHT. They were unable to load all of the items and wanted us to agree to pay another 3K to get the rest of our items. This was at 4 am. We refused and rented a van ourselves to move the rest of our belongings. It took a week for one of the trucks to show up for delivery. Johnathan Black repeatedly lied to us about where the truck was and when it would arrive. We were told multiple times is was on the way and it would be there shortly, but would not arrive. We finally had a friend drive by where they store the trucks and they found the truck with our and items unloaded onto their parking lot. We have no idea what they were doing for that week with our stuff. We asked that Johnathan Black to release our things to another company to move instead and Johnthan Black refused to release our goods to a different company. When the truck did arrive nearly a week late it was again nearly midnight. The delivery crew was tired and complained about having to move things to the downstairs part of the house. I had to move and load/unload many boxes myself to just get the job done. We have moved several time and this was by far the worst moving company we have ever work with. The billing made no sense with different companies canceling payment and unknown companies billing us. I recommend you avoid this company. read more

Friendly and professional. The moving crew was awesome and did a great job with an excellent attitude about all of it. They were able to squeeze in my 3hr block of moving heavy stuff (cost $285!) with only about a weeks notice! The only reason I dropped a star is because of punctuality. If we agree on 11am I expect movers at 11am... or at least a phone call at 1045 saying you're going to run late. When I call and text and don't get anything until 12, when they say they're on the way, that's a bit frustrating. But that's a problem with company management, the movers themselves were top notch and great guys. read more

I needed movers to handle my apartment as if it were a PCS, and they did. They knew what they were doing, helped me get organized, and were very efficient. We got my apartment into a local storage unit in a day. Before that, I had really struggled to find anything even remotely resembling military style movers, much less the real thing. We're in the middle of PCS season after all. Then I came across Jonathan's company. He was very friendly, responsive, and professional. I recommend you to my sister for her move because you had done a great job on my move. However, you did not book her correct date. She confirmed her date with you several times. She was left without movers and you refused to answer her phone calls! I will no longer be recommending your services to anyone! read more

This experience was one from HELL to say the least. I started using this company because of the reviews but after my experience, I want to know if these reviews are even real. Regardless, let me share with you THE REAL TRUTH. I set up my services with them and when I called they said they had a couple available times for May 1st. One at a 4-6 slot and one at a 12-3 slot. With these slots, I selected the 4-6 to give my self plenty of time to get my belongings to Louisiana. The day before services, I did not receive a confirmation call about my service for the next day. When moving day came I called a total of 5 times to confirm my movers for the day. Everytime they answered, they say that the movers were at a site and unloading and would be with me soon. Then came the 6 pm window. At 5:45 I called to confirm that they were still coming and Johnathan, the man who answers the phone said that they were still good to be at my house before 6 and that the movers phones was most likely dead so he wasn't able to get a hold of him. Then at 6:17 I called back for an ETA and he said he didn't have one and to keep waiting for them to arrive At 7pm I called again because my elderly parents weren't comfortable with men they did not know at their house after dark and they needed an ETA. That's when johnathan told me that they were pushing to closer to 8pm before they would get to me. I let them know that wasn't okay because of how dark it would get and that my parents were uncomfortable. He then asked "ma'am, what can we do to make this a better experience." I said, " I would appreciate having a discount for the services since I was required to pay for 3 hours of service for one bedrooms worth of items. I said I would be more comfortable playing $200 instead of $285 since they would be over 2 hours late to get my belongings...and since I wouldn't even use the 3 hours. This is where things took a turn THIS MAN HAD THE NERVE TO THEN TURN THE SITUATION ON ME AND SAY THAT THE REASON THEY AREN'T ON TIME IS MY FAULT. To give you a break down, He said that it was my fault for booking them when they were over booked and I should have been prepared for this to happen. I was confused by the fact that them being 2 hours past my window was my fault. I then explained that my parents weren't comfortable with them being there after dark and he said "but it would be okay if it was for $200?" LIKE THAT WAS THE RUDEST THING YOU CAN SAY TO SOME ONE THAT YOU HAVE WRONGED. All I did was answer his question and try to compromise and he had the audacity to say something like that. At this point. It's almost 8:30 and no one has shown up. I ended up starting to move everything out of the trucks myself because Johnathan said "I can look into working with you if you start moving the stuff yourself" so I get to do all of the work and you get to get paid?! I think NOT! Finally, after waiting until 9:45pm...PM!!! I finally call for an ETA and he said he didn't have one. I then said, we unloaded the truck ourselves. I then asked if i could get back my deposit and these SCAMMERS said that I couldn't get it back because I didn't cancel 4 days before the services...ARE YOU KIDDING ME I NEVER CANCELLED. THESE SCAMMERS NEVER CAME TO MY HOUSE AND I CANT EVEN GET MY MONEY BACK!! I just want my deposit back. Don't trust them Don't give them your business If you want something done, just do it yourself. JG MOVERS IS AN AWFUL BUSINESS AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. SHAME ON THEM. read more

We just finished an across town move and after reading mixed reviews of the other local movers I didn't feel great about my options. My mother-in-law mentioned that a guy from JG Movers (Zhavea) gave her a business card and seemed like a nice guy so I gave them a call. Jonathan quoted me a price that was very straight forward without all the extra charges and I contracted with them. Saturday was our planned move and the guys got held up at a job before me so they were a little late but I completely understood and when the guys arrived they were very professional, personable and efficient. It shocked me how fast they were able to load and move our stuff as this was the first time I've hired a mover.
