I was bleeding pretty good. My wife was upset. Had a towel around my head when I walked in Judah one of the nurse receptionists asked a few questions, told her I was on a blood thinners and she got after it after that. They brought a wheelchair out, took me to the back for a CAT scan of my head. No waiting around the service I received was outstanding all the staff the two nurses that helped me, Jamison and Adrian were awesome . Chet Baker the busy ER doc was fun professional and fantastic as well All the staff were super. the good news is no damage no bleeding in my head just three staples needed. Dr. Baker put those in, first time I've ever had staples and they hurt. I'm good thanks to super care JFK Memorial emergency department. In at 9:45pm home at 12:45am

Dr. Fink is my GP and she is a literal life saver. Despite being booked solid, she got me in for…read morewhat I thought was a stomach issue and she ordered an ultrasound just to see what was going on. That ultrasound revealed a mass on my kidney which was determined to be cancerous. I had the kidney removed before the cancer could spread, and I don't have to have any chemo or radiation treatments. Dr Fink was beyond compassionate during this very terrifying time, and I credit her with saving my life. I've been seeing her for almost 3 years and she is terrific every time.

The worse part is taking a patient from an ambulance and placing him in the emergency waiting room--having him waiting for hours for help. His vertebrate could have been broken or many other issues abrupt do to this very poor judgement (had no medical precaution to immediately place him inside the emergency room). So many persons reacted immediately when I mention JFK Emergency Room. Im from out of town and wasn't quickly aware of the list of Yelps! My hope was that it would not be the case of another negative experience. I sincerely hope Mgmt. truly listens to the list of Yelps. I welcome a call from JFK as my intention is to be more formal on feedback and sincerely assist JFK to move towards making this facility a top class medical unit. The environment was deeply abusive and inappropriate, there were patients with severe dementia on the hall coming into other patient rooms, and there was no actual care. The staff were highly undertrained and unprofessional. The art rooms and gym and all of the facility were not used. We were marched single file to the dining area where the food given was not fit for human consumption. It was very akin to a concentration camp or prison. Staff laughed at people in distress and did not provide them medications. I am deeply shocked after hearing all the positive news about this center. Please bring anyone in need to a better facility. I will be filing formal complaints with the state and county.
