very disappointed With this jewelry store. Me and my…read moreboyfriend went to go pick out my ring, i chose my stone and chose my base took two days and hours to make it my ring. I was told they were going to custom order the mount to fit the the stone and I had other things I wanted to add to the ring it was going to take 4-6 weeks to come in. my boyfriend gets the ring and tell me it looks different ,it's a whole other ring! not the one i chose . I went to the store Josh is a super great guy made me feel like i wasn't crazy but Renae said in front of me "i told you not to show or tell her" . after talking she made me feel like the ring i chose was stupid. said the base is to small diamonds are going to knock out everyone comes in for that issue it wasn't worth it and the ring they ordered is bigger and better but if i wanted they can order the ring i want but it would take 4-6 weeks again. only reason i didn't go with that is because i dont have 4-6 weeks to wait he had a plan and time frame a very tight one. if she offered a rush on the order i would have said yes let's get my dream ring but no this screwed this exciting step for us up. There was no apologies just a simple this ring is bigger and better and he shouldn't have showed me in the first place. I want the ring I chose but i feel like if we were to order it it still wouldn't be what I imagined and hoped for. I thought they specialized in custom rings and had a in house jeweler but the ring i got wasn't my custom one just one order off of Gabriel. They completely lost my trust , there was no paper or records on the ring so we decided we had to get it appraised to make sure one thing was right. Unfortunately we won't be coming back for our wedding bands. Josh was a great jeweler and helped me imagine and customize my dream ring . Needless to say were stuck with the ring that was just ordered online still great and beautiful just not my dream one i imagined.

And she is so talented! She has made a beautiful antiqued door display and several painted and distressed church pews for me. She is reasonably priced and stocks her store with treasures, and not a bunch of junk. She is located at the very end of the Lavonia Antique Market and you can definitely tell where her store starts and the other part ends. Night and day between her store and the rest of it. Her store is clean and organized. Also, Joyce and her sister are so helpful and friendly, unlike several of the ladies that work in the other part of this location. I will also add that she stays open for the posted store hours and does not close early or start turning off the lights on customers like they do in the other part of this location. I regularly see Joyce and her sister helping and checking out customers from the other location, when they have closed early and left customers still in the store and in the dark. The only reason I go to Lavonia Antique Market anymore is because of East Antiques, and if Joyce ever leaves, I won't go at all.

Very sweet staff that will carefully wrap your purchases. I think they do classes occasionally, but check their website or Facebook page to make sure I didn't make that up. GENUINE GEMSTONE JEWELRY!…read more The HicksChicks are a couple of sister who make genuine gemstone jewelry. Their collection includes slides, sets, (necklace, earrings and bracelet), loose stones and individual pieces. They do great statement pieces that will make that simple LBD pop! This was the first stop of the day because I love jewelry, especially colorful stones. At this point, it is very challenging to find pieces that I don't already own so I enjoy just adding a piece here and there for layering purposes. As soon as I arrived at the table I noticed this bright green beaded bracelet with an elephant charm and placed it on my arm. I didn't adjust it or touch it because it was a perfect fit and I did not take it off until I prepared for bed later that night. ***I have a habit of putting on jewelry and walking around with it while shopping because jewelry needs to be comfortable and stay in place, just like clothing. After a while, my husband said "Oh she's going to buy that bracelet because she hasn't touched it". He has shopped with me long enough to know my "tell" regarding jewelry purchasing. He was right! Although you may encounter several jewelry vendors, not all of them are going to offer quality items because they use fake stones, and cheap materials and it is evident on sight. When shopping, don't be afraid to ask about materials used and to ask if the stones are real or synthetic and do what I do: Once you find quality vendors always look for them at your favorite shows because they do travel around.
