They usually try to sell whole bedroom suites at a fraction of the price you'd find in the store. Additionally they have furniture for about every room in the house, including sofas, occasional tables, entertainment centers, etc. Since it's a second hand type store (not thrift mind you) the selections change, and they do rotate things in from the back warehouse in frequently, so even weekly trips are usually met with something different than the last visit. Sometimes it's beneficial to ask them for something you might be looking for as they might have it in the back or might have it rotated back out of the showroom. Most of the pricing is fairly aggressive, some of it I find on occasion to be off but typically if an item has sat for a while, you might be able to negotiate on it, especially if you get to know the staff. The reason I put this on 5 stars, although the store might not blow you away on your first visit, I've gotten a lot of good deals here, and I find that in comparison to other second hand stores this is a definite stand out.

We were in town to attend their fall festival when we noticed that this store was open very early! Score! We wondered in and browsed their vast selection of wares: sweaters, southern inspired tees, collegiate spirit wear and related items, Christian greeting cards, kitchen accessories, general clothing options, bags, an infant room that was stocked with baby clothing and related items and of course jewelry. There was so much to see that you would need a generous amount of time to explore it all. We had a specific schedule so we were not able to stay as long as we would have liked. We actually got caught up in the jewelry section where they had the "ever so popular" memory bracelets which can be personalized as you get to select the pop-in pieces to finish the item of your choice. You may choose from bracelets, lockets or earrings and everything happened to be on sale today so the prices were great. They had a VAST selection of the "pop in" pieces so my husband and I spent a significant amount of time (with owner assistance), digging through the bins to find the right pieces, (we needed five snap buttons to complete our toggle and clasp bracelet). To personalize my daughter's bracelet, I chose the following buttons: UGA, family, little sister, MRS, the initial J and "I love mom". They also had neutral pieces that are just "pretty or sparkly" so you don't necessary have to have a specific message on your button. I knew that she would love the bracelet because she really appreciates jewelry that has meaning and she usually just shops my cabinet but now she has something that was purchased specifically for her. With the bracelets, you have the option of purchasing them with an elastic band or a toggle clasp. The clasp is going to be more durable and it is adjustable so consider this when purchasing. Also, pieces can be added and removed as desired which means that you can continue to add additional pieces for special occasions and significant milestones. The options are endless! During the transition from September to October, I love to decorate, inside and out. The outside is decorated with scarecrows, pumpkins, cornstalks and garden stakes while the inside is also dressed in fall splendor. We love it! The Vintage Owl is a great option for finding fall accents and pieces that add a bit of warmth and whimsy. When visiting the town of Lavonia, this little shop is a must stop on your tour. It is the perfect place to buy gifts for others, or to get something for your home or yourself. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our time here. Definitely recommended!

Many were by well-known authors and were in good condition. A very sweet lady who worked there gave her lots of recommendations. I was most impressed with their selection of women's suits, and it looked like they had many men's suits as well. The shoe section was very small, but they had a lot of coats and jackets! I mainly wear vintage clothes, and I didn't find much, but what I did find was in pretty good condition. I ended up purchasing a formal, long beaded dress for $2.99! All the dresses (formal or casual) are the same price. I also got a pair of large earrings for 50 cents and a pin for 10 cents! I'd say I'm pretty happy. My reason for deducting two stars is that the handle was broken off of the fitting room door and there was nowhere to sit or hang anything. Also, almost all of the jewelry was under the counter and very unorganized. If you are willing to put up with a little dirt and messiness, you are sure to find a deal! and I'm glad they actually put the money toward a good cause, unlike the Goodwill!

This place is chocked full of everything! Antique and MCM furniture, glasswares, collectibles of all types, coins, toys, and so much more!! They are also the home to some amazing vendors like Peachland Music (they have a vast selection of guitars and musical equipment) and TNT Comics with THOUSANDS of comic books and related toys, posters, etc. The owners are some of the nicest ladies you will ever meet! You can rent booths and even consign goods if you don't want to pay monthly rent. They have regular events and host a monthly Cruise-in for vintage cars with proceeds benefiting the Circle Of Hope womens shelter. Each time you go in you will see something new. I originally went to eat at the little café/bakery in the back of the store, but walked away with a very reasonably priced handcrafted farmhouse table with six chairs that I could not pass up!
