My boyfriend and I were visiting Rehoboth Beach for vacation when we stumbled into Harry K's. While…read moreI had already given him some ideas for ring choices, I couldn't help but take a peek at all of the shiny goodness. Our salesman Jim was super helpful and gave us time and space to look at some settings. During this time my boyfriend was able to remind me that none of what I was looking at matched what I had told him previously. I honestly didn't expect to find a setting that I absolutely loved right there on the boardwalk, but nothing that I had seen so far even compared. We took time to talk it over during dinner and never felt the least bit pressured to return. However, we did return and this time sat down with Harry himself. He was so helpful and fun to speak with. He taught us so much about diamonds and how he creates his pieces. It really was an overall memorable experience. We left with the most gorgeous engagement ring less than 24 hours later. My boyfriend even said given his many experiences in the past few weeks with jewelers, this was by far his best. We highly recommend Harry K's to anyone looking for a genuine, passionate, and knowledgeable jeweler. We know we'll be back as we've already talked about purchasing our wedding bands from him. THANKS HARRY!!!!! Sincerely, Lindsay from Puna and Cory

However, it's also used to raise prices. Harry disappointed me! It all started a couple of months ago, when I complained about being overcharged for setting one stone in a ring for my one daughter. I was in the jewelry business for many years and know the pricing. My example is simple, when I asked about a price for a rhodium job. The original price was $65.00 from the manager. Then I was told it would be $90.00. When I received a call the job was finished and went to pick it up, it was $95.00. Harry told me 2 days before that it would be $60 something because I was a regular customer. When I questioned it and told them about what Harry said, I find out that was only if I spent over $700.00 on my next repair. They will never see me again. I will save all my jewelry work for when I go back home to Pennsylvania! My recommendation to all who moved to this area, is shop around and get the price in writing!

I went back and asked them to fix it and they did however, they said it would be 3 weeks after they shipped it out. You would assume since it was their mistake they would mail it immediately. I was told it was $30 to mail and that they didn't have anything else to send so they would not mail it out for another 2 weeks! Fast forward five weeks later we finally get the ring my new bride had worn a total of 4 days back. Within 3 hours of having the ring back another stone had fallen out. By this point we wanted nothing to do with this place. I returned to get a refund which the owner dismissively agreed to and I walked out without an apology. Here we are almost 6 weeks after our wedding and my bride has worn a ring for 4 days and 3 hours... not to mention all of our wedding photos now have this terrible ring in it. We are truly upset with this business and the owner and can not stress enough how poor our experience was with them
