History
Established in 1998.
Frank, David and Jason Jones founded our wholesale company in 1998. We have been selling to other retailers and wholesalers since that time and continue to do so until this day. In 2003 we had the opportunity to open Jewelers3 here in the middle of Hoover. We figured we had all this beautiful jewelry, we might as well open a store and share this exceptionally priced merchandise with the retail public. Because of the quantity pricing available to our wholesale company, we are able to offer prices much better than the average retail jeweler. We do this with hometown service and a no pressure attitude.
Meet the Business Owner: Frank J.
Frank has been in the jewelry business since his 8 year stint with Golbro beginning in 1975, working up to the position of jewelry buyer. Leaving Golbro in 1983, he went to Ardan Catalog Showrooms of Des Moines, IA and later Minneapolis, MN as Senior Diamond buyer for the 72 store chain. An opportunity opened up for frank to transition to the manufacturing/wholesale side of the fine jewelry business with I.B. Goodman Manufacturing Co. in Cincinnati, OH. As merchandise manager for 8 years, Frank became familiar with the aspects of manufacturing and importing fine jewelry for major retailers across the US. The final move from Cincinnati to New York City was with Samuel Aaron Inc. With sales responsibilities for the West coast and Southeast his customers were major retailers such as Macy's, AAFES, Sterling Merchandise, Pizitz fine jewelry, Fred Meyer, etc. Later on, in 1998 Frank and his brothers David and Jason had the opportunity to open their own business and move back home to Alabama.
