Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, especially in the early evening. Nice to take a stroll or for taking a break and watch the world (and boats) go by. Some good restaurants around (try the excellent Paella at the "Tasca Del Port"; good fish and seafood as well). Bikes have incredible chain locks, baskets, bells, & helmets are available too. They will recommend insurance for your bike & accessories.
