I really like this car wash, and I use it all the time. I also truly appreciate that they now have two member lines and one pay line. That said, you have 2 to 3 workers working the drive up lanes every single time I come, yet you still let paying customers use the member lines. If someone without a membership goes in the members only line, there should be some consequence to deter them from doing this again. Otherwise, what is the benefit of having two Line lines for the memberships when they still have to wait for people need help to scan their credit cards? Obviously, once they're in the queue, they can't back out, so if they pay with a card or cash, charge them five dollars more if they're in the number line. Just visited for the first time this week and I was impressed. The prices are better than Delta Sonic and the experience is better too. I felt like it was more spacious for my car and I didn't feel as cramped as I was driving through. It was more thorough than Delta Sonic and others because my sedan has a low sloping rear window. Other drive-through washing places just don't get that as clean. The automatic washers scrubbed that back window really well, which was great because that was the reason I drove in in the first place. The back window was becoming cloudy with the pollen we have been having. I am happy with the wash and I will be back since work takes me to this area frequently now. Thanks! read more

I was a longtime customer (2+ years) of Jet Brite car wash. A customer service agent named Kaite with Zips car wash was the final reason I have cancelled my monthly subscription. Prior to working with Katie, I inquired about an unexpected price increase. This is not the first time the company has pulled the carpet out from underneath me and made a change to my account without permission or prior notice. The company is running a scam. You sign up for one service at a set price, and then they change it whenever it's convenient for them without any notice or authorization from the customer. When I inquired about the price increase, I was told they added a new feature to my plan. WTF I never agreed to this. On their website they still advertised the same price I had been paying for over 2 years. When I reached out to customer service, that's when I had the delight of working with Katie. She completely ignored my concerns over several emails, and even after threating to leave I still got a no care attitude. Katie refused to honor the price or offer a credit to correct the issue even when I specifically asked. All I can say is watch out for their shady business practices and keep an eye on your credit card if you are an unlimited wash member. There are plenty of car washes in the area, it's time to give someone else a try. read more

The first time I traced it back 6 months where I was being double charged and today I see I was double charged for this month. This has also happened to my girlfriend and her dad. This message speaks to all of the jet brite car washes. I like the quailty of the carwash and dry so I purchased the membership. I got the membership that only offer a wash. My problem with this company is that once you have that membership the system will not allow you to upgrade services, (once in a while I would like to get the deluxe wash. I know it can be done but it's the companies way of penalizing for not paying for the higher option. The portions below speaks to the jet brite carwash in Addison. The license plate ready is substandard at best. I purchased a new car and along with that came new plates. Now the system will not read my plates and allow me to go right through instead and attendant has to come out to access lane and assist. This backs up traffic and actually slows down production. Very good car wash and good price. The full car exterior carwash with wheels and waxing is $12. You can get 3 addition options for lower price. When you go in the morning the line is not to long you can wash your car quickly, but sometimes some afternoon or weekends especially during nice weather line can very long and waiting time may be unacceptable. Got my car washed here 2/22/21 and decided to swing back through 2/26/21 because of snow and it's supposed to be clear for a while. i saw some people working on certain parts inside the car wash on the left side but didn't think much of it. little did i know they must've been installing knives and nails cause now my car is scratched up. literally just got the car in december and i know it didn't come from anything else. it's only on the left side and on top. i'm pretty sure i could contact the business but i'm sure they won't care too much. read more

Been here 15+ times. I always purchase the $3 car wash, plus I get free vacuuming. The vacuums work very well. The $3 car wash option is great (and so so budget friendly!), however, I have noticed that the dryer has gotten worse. I always have a lot of water on the rear end/rear windshield. Highly suggest bringing your own towel for a wipe down. Overall, I will continue coming here, it fulfills my $3. read more

A solid $3 car wash which obvious when you see the line of cars lined up. On most weekends, it takes about 20 -30 minutes to run through the wash. It's always packed! During the summer months, the attendant will use a solution and brush to get the bugs of the front of the vehicle before you enter the wash. They are also outside at all times to help guide you with enter the track. Their is also an illuminated sign but this is a great added perk. The place is such a mill, you are usually 10 inches away from the car in front of you. If you were thinking about sitting a few seconds longer to ensure the vehicle is completely dry or your dryer time runs out, forget about it. You will cause an accident. read more

I've been through quite a few terrible ones that never clean my car (once I went through a wash and still had large amounts of bird poop on my car afterwards!) and I've dealt with vaccuums that cost a lot of quarters and have zero ability to suck. But a few days ago, after seeing the terrible state my car was in from months of dirtiness, I decided to take it out for a car wash at Jet Brite. Apparently, the entire town of Addison was getting their car washed that morning too -- it was an abnormally warm Chicago winter day. Yet... the wait wasn't too terrible. Despite the line, I was able to quickly pull into one of the vacuum spots and start cleaning my car right away. Let me tell you -- those vacuums suck. Hard. In a good way. Everything was sucked out of my car quickly and it looked so much cleaner within minutes. For free vacuums, these things were amazing. I'll come back here just to use the vacuums! Once I was back in line for the wash, I only waited about five minutes before I approached the pay station and bought my $10 wash. Yes, there was a $3 wash, and a $6 basic wash, but I needed the $10 wash that included everything but a wax finish (which I could have done for $2 more). I realized later that I should have done the $12 wash, but $10 just sounded good to me. ANYWAY. I drove up and my car was just one of many going through the wash. The cars were SO CLOSE to each other, that I momentarily freaked thinking I would hit the one in front of me, but nope, didn't happen. It kind of felt like I was going though some assembly line.... then poof! Blue skies and a tornado-strength dryer! I could see the flames coming out of the dryers. I have no idea if that's normal (it probably is), but it was a sight to see. Once out of the wash, I had to think quick and maneuver back onto Lake Street before the car behind me crashed into me. I'm thinking this hasn't actually happened here, but it seems very likely, given the limited space I had. When I got home, I had a good look at my car and was pretty impressed. Yes, there were still some streaky water spots, but it wasn't anything to cry about. My husband was actually kind of impressed at how clean my car looked -- even the tires were extra shiny. I'll definitely be bringing my car back here for a few more washes this winter. read more

I usually go by the car wash close to my house or at the Shell in a pinch, but as I was returning form the garage to change breaks (which I will also review in a minute)..I stopped here. I saw $3 for a wash and free vacuuming on the premesis, so I figured why the hell not. I drove up to the little payment kiosk, and saw the different selections here; choosing the 10 dollar (pretty much everything) I drove up to the entry way to have 2 guys with soapy brushes wash parts of my car down (presumable the parts that are alittle harder to get to) and I went thru. 2 minutes later I was out. The turn to get to the vacuum area from there was tight but not to problematic; seniors beware. Would be cool if they had different heads but I know thats asking for too much with what you are paying for. It was quite busy this place, and the staff was freindly, which is why I gave 5 stars instead of 4. Otherwise it is pretty much an assembly line to clean cars. Vacuuming my car was alittle longer...my vacuum head kept coming off and I would screw it on only to come off again. Annoying, but I saw one of the guys working there lounging outside so I asked him to l et him know that it kept coming off. He did something to it and it stayed on. Don't know what the heck. The one thing I think would be nice to see...is if they allow you to come back within 5 days to get a rewash when buying the best wash, although Addison is a haul for me to go get a wash, for local people it would be nice. This and the $3 wash (or rinse off) is why there is can be a bit of a back up of waiting cars on Lake Street on the first sunny day after a rain/snow. There are other choices for wash--all self select--but the basic is the $3 rinse off. The site is kind of cramped so vacuum your car first before you go through the car wash. The garage next door has vacated so there's a bit more room to maneuver once you're done driving through. Turning Left on Lake St can be a challenge so you'll appreciate the extra room the empty mechanics garage has left. No nonsense, does it's job. Nice to have in Addison. read more

$3 car wash AND free air AND DIY vacuum! Okay, okay we all know it's more of a "rinse" rather then a wash, but hey I'll take it because there aren't a lot of things you can't do for $3 anymore. And most car washes has this lousy air pressure at the end to "dry off" your car, but at Jet Brite is strong, tornado strong and it's great because it's doing what it's suppose to do, dry my car. What I've learn about this specific Jet Brite is it's design for you to vacuum your car then wash it. I did the opposite wash then vacuum and since the cars are angled one way I got a bit frustrated as how am I going to get out without going through the car wash pay station again? Luckily it wasn't too busy so I was able to reverse and swing my car around to face traffic (Please be advise no car were entering as I did this motion) and exit the way cars are suppose to enter, awkward indeed. The DIY vacuum is awesome, the suction is very strong, it ate my headset, no biggie, so be careful. My car floors were vacuumed and cleaned within minutes. But of course if you want a nice shiny super looking car you can upgrade to the $5, $8, or $10 wash. read more

On 04/08/14 I purchased the $12 jet wash + hot wax. When I came home I looked at the sides of my car and it was covered in horizontal scratches. Mostly on the clear coat and a handful deeper. I immediately called Jet Brite and he said to come in the next day and speak to manager John. I came in on 04/09. John said the scratches are not their fault, their brushes didn't do that. I'm really confused because my car did not have those scratches before that car wash. John asked me if I wanted to go through the car wash again to see if it will make more scratches?...I replied No and left because they weren't going to fix my damages. The emblem in the front was loose for many years now. When i got home i noticed it was gone. I contacted them and let them know about my emblem over the phone. I told them that it may not even be due to the wash. It wasn't important because the truck is so old and it has come off before. Two issues I have are that it's not touchless so your vehicle is bombarded with the brushes and the exit is very small so trying to leave so close to an intersection sometimes sucks if no one lets you in front of them. read more

Went there with my truck like I regularly do paid the $12 I pull into the wash and I was told my truck was too big was offered a refund and had to back out. Truck wasn't too big 2 wks ago last time I was there. I have 2500 Ram with 6" lift and 35" tires I clear the max clearance without issue and room to spare. They told me my tires were too big. Be smarter than me. Vacuum your car FIRST. Especially if it's a busy day, but either way, vacuum first. Trust me on this. You have to go past the vacuums to get into the car wash. All the spots are angled in so you can't really turn around and go back out the way you came, and you can't go around the car wash either, only in. I was dumb and didn't realize this, and it was packed, so I did not get to use the free vacuums. I suck. That said, it's a perfectly decent car wash, but the big sign advertising $3 is a bit misleading -- that basically just rinses your car off, roughly equivalent to hosing it down. Not much "washing" going on. The other levels are $5, $8 and $10. Of course I had to upgrade since I actually wanted my car, you know, clean, and it did a pretty good job. My car gets damaged at the Northlake car wash and they write up a report saying I will get a phone call in 30 mins, no call so I contact them 5 times and keep getting told someone will call me back then the start ignoring my phone calls and 2 weeks later still no call so my husband has to go in and demand the manager call us. Finally he calls today stating they called me 3 times and left voicemails which is a lie and making up a bunch of excuses as to how my windshield might have got cracked and how they are not responsible. I've recently started using the JetBrite car washes. They are reasonably priced and they get the job done. I really dislike car washes with brushes, I always go the touch-free route but sometimes the car comes out looking the same as it went in...this is where JetBrite comes into play. I still cringe the whole time I'm in the wash and I basically hold my breath. I'm always afraid of getting scratches and the car behind me always looks so close. When the car is drying, I always panic that I won't be able to exit fast enough and the car behind me is going to rear-end me. Thankfully, that hasn't happened yet...and no scratches (knock on wood). The only major gripe I have about this place is the exit is VERY close to the street (again, this is where my whole car behind me freak out comes into play). There really isn't a whole lot of space for you to maneuver to without being smack dab on Lake St. Hopefully, when you exit, there isn't a lot of traffic. Oh, and make sure that you don't potentially have any issues with payment. Once you are at the pay boxes, you can't really change your mind and turn around. When they reopened they had many problems with the operation of the equipment.The timing of what was supposed to happen was off my wife was in line a the car lunged forward.This is on private property and the car wash should be responsible because it was on the tow line.I have heard other people say they also had problems when they opened up after all new equipment and software was installed. I don't know why, but it is hard to find an automatic car wash by me! They are all either do-it-yourself, or a more expensive hand wash. Luckily, Jet Brite came to the rescue. Come early, because this place gets all sorts of crazy on a nice day! First perk, they have free vacuum stalls, and plenty of them! And they actually work (they do suck...haha). Then, they have 3 places to pull up to and choose your wash. There is the $3 wash as advertised, but it really doesn't include anything. For $10 I got everything but the wax. You can pay with cash or card. Then you wait in line, put your car in neutral, and take a ride through the wash. It's pretty fast. I like how the dryer gets almost all of the water off your car so you don't have any water marks. Then you are on your way! I will definitely come back! read more
