Anthony got right back to us and was extremely helpful from the very beginning. Although his facility was full at the time, he was able to give us a lot of helpful guidance, and add our boy to a waiting list for foster or adoption. Some of the Dobermans Anthony has rehabilitated would have been considered lost causes by many, but he has a special way with the dogs and they really seem to love and trust him. We are profoundly grateful to Anthony for his assistance at a very difficult time, and for giving our boy the very best chance possible at a new beginning! Thank you from us all!

This time it was kindness and helpfulness and the available doggos looked healthy. We took home a fabulous 6 year old black lab and she's so happy to be here with her siblings. Vet checked her out yesterday and said she's perfectly healthy and seems good to go. Quite pleased to have rescued someone when the shelters are so full. That being said, if you can take in another (or your first!) furry family member, please help the shelters now. They're overcrowded, so much so tha they're offering $0 for adoption and fees and everything. Even my first vet visit was $0! Save an animal, get a new family member. Debating it? Do it.

Long post regarding our treatment today from NOAHS BARK GROOMING. First let me say this was Bella's…read more4th visit there. Only had a minor issue one time prior with her coming home really scared. Well today she had an appointment at 1:00 pm for her grooming. Dropped her off at 12:45 and I was told it would be an hour, hour and a half and normally they are sooner than that and we get a call to pick her up. So instead of wasting gas coming back to the west side my son and I stayed in the NE heights. I ended up messaging through FB messenger asking about Bella and no reply (until after I picked her up). So I called and Noah was so rude and condescending and it was embarrassing as I was on Bluetooth with my son and my son kept looking at me like what the heck. I was in disbelief with the way I was being talked to. I told Noah the same as I typed here. How long i was told it would be and I was calling to check because I was concerned because of the one time Bella didn't do too well. He immediately got defensive and said they had another appointment at 12:30 that took longer than expected. I said when I dropped off Bella nobody was there and no other dogs and that should've been communicated to me that they were running behind and I wouldn't have gotten concerned if they told me it was going to be longer. All well trying to get this out of my mouth, his tone was rising with me and interrupting me. So I let him and asked him are you really taking this tone with me, I'm just checking on my dog. He first told me, he was sorry I was having a bad day, that they are busy and his son was in the back washing another dog when I dropped off Bella and didn't appreciate me calling him a liar because he is a pastor and they are having a busy day and getting ready to go to Washington (not sure what that has to do with me) I told him I never called him a liar and didn't appreciate him talking to me the way he was and also that I am NOT having a bad day. I told him if he's busy since it has been 2 1/2 hours I would go get Bella. He then said you must pay for services and I told him I will pay for what she received as I never said I wasn't going to pay. He ended the call with God bless you in a rude manner. I did talk to my son as I raise him in the church that we don't use God bless you to anyone in a manner or the tone he did. Fast forward... Pick up Bella (video in post) I recorded as I was concerned with the way he was talking to me. As you can see in some of the pictures my son is scratched up bad and I am too. In the video you can hear my son at first excited for Bella and then hear him start to cry after he got scratched. I asked about her nails being cut. The groomer a woman I will say is very nice and explained that she couldn't cut any lower on her nails. I did tell her this has never happened in the 3 years we've had her with issues with her nails. Then I get charged and the price went up. I asked if they changed the prices and they said yes, which I wasn't aware but I paid and NO I didn't leave a tip. I believe paying $47.00 was already too much for the service I received today. Back to the message I sent on fb to check on Bella. The owner then replied nicely, like nothing happened. I did write him and advise him that Bella's face was still dirty and her nails cut my son. He then denied it writing, we recognize none of that is true! I sent him pictures of my arm and my son. I am ok with my scratch but my son was scratched up pretty bad to where it made him cry, in Noah's place of business. So deny that, I sent him pictures of the scratches and my dogs face and his response was God bless you my sister we mean that! Don't use being a pastor or a christian to deny the crappy service we got. Not only was I demeaned by this man verbally, we didn't get the services I paid full price for. He also mentioned tear stains would need to be diagnosed by a vet. Well groomers would know that my breed of dog it's a natural process for them and that's why I get her groomed. Nothing is medically wrong with her. I added a picture at the end when she's been groomed and her face is clean. I will NOT be going back to this groomer for his lack of professionalism and using being a pastor to defend his business that no wrong was done here, or give him an excuse to talk to me the way he did.

Though the inside was not very nice, I know that the staff do their best to take care of the animals. The place looks pretty standard for an animal shelter, sterile and much like jail. I was glad to take my dog out of there. I'm assuming the aesthetics of the place has much to do with funding. What I really appreciate is the fact that all of the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. My partner was the one who picked out the dog and I was running from a play performance to meet her before they closed. I came right before closing time and was graciously accommodated. The shelter paid for the spaying, all vaccines, tags and microchipping of our doggy before they let her go home with us. I'm very thankful for all that. We both feel very lucky to have the dog that we got.

These people KNOW DOGS and can help with difficult cases. Their main focus for the obedience training is safety first, and always. Trish and the gang always do an outstanding job training, and making sure you understand the process. They totally understand dogs and I would say they are Albuquerque's Dog Whisperers. The methods are tried and true and I have seen totally outstanding results from them time and again. The reason for obedience is to teach the owner how to work with the dog and together the owner and dog can learn to have a happy and safe life together. Trish and her ladies will have you and your dog well on their way to a long, happy life. The snake training for life is a superb idea and I will always go back for more. :) VERY HAPPY CAMPER. For those that gave a review citing 'fear and intimidation' system was used, did you go to the same place I did? I can hardly believe that. You need to learn to be fully integrated with your dog, which at some point will include discipline, not to be confused with fear and intimidation. For those that coddle their dogs, that method will hardly do the trick for ensuring a safe and happy life together. This is a very good training place, bar non, BEST IN THE CITY. After another hour with no call I walked in one of my dogs was still on the grooming table getting his paws cut with no issues. The groomer then told me some other BS excuses about walks ins and an emergency. My dogs were in a cage for SIX HOURS with no water and no potty break panting in 100 degree weather. The owner then walked in during pickup with his kids and didnt bother saying anything to me while both him and the groomer were giving me dirty looks. Goodluck if you take your dogs here.
