I never just read one review. I read all of them!! Experiences can always be very different from people to people, and what I think may be very different then what another person may feel or think.. I was looking to get braids, mine you I've never had my hair braided. I just knew a look I wanted that was it. When I saw photos of some work of a young lady named Bridgette. I knew she was the one I wanted to try. 1st experience and impression: On line is the best way to reach out to this shop, when I called there was just an answering service. When inquired on line I had someone respond back to me within 30 mins. The Thing I loved was, that I mentioned who (Bridgette) I wanted services with and Bridgette contacted me. Bridgette reached out via text to see what I was looking for. After a few exchanges of texts and photos. I was ready to book my appointment. She gave me options on times which was nice. She also didn't make me feel stupid when I asked questions. I had called two shops before this one and when I asked questions they laughed at me and instantly felt stupid. I had no idea what I needed to buy as far as hair for the braids. "Remember I have never had them before." The Shop was clean and the staff was friendly. I was greeted right away and did not have to wait at all. Bridgette was on time to our appointment and very friendly. She got right to work. It's nice when people are easy going and friendly, especially when you're going to be sitting with them for two hours. Bridgette is sweet and honest, in the short time I was there I felt at home and very comfortable. She has an amazing eye and hand for the work she does. The braids were beautiful and very clean lines. Price were good. I had read online that I had to bring cash so I was prepared. Over all I had a great experience, people make your company and Bridgette makes Luxury hair shine bright! I give Bridgette personally 5plus stars and want to thank her for taking time to make sure my experience and hair was amazing!! i absolutely hate leaving negative reviews but i have to . i paid a pretty penny only to leave with…read moremy hair damaged and not the style at all that i wanted . wouldn't recommend coming here if you are looking for a full head light dye /bleaching treatment . lady who helped me was named shirley. we did a hair patch test before even starting the process . and she deemed me good to continue on . in conclusion , my hair did not come out anything like i asked . it wasn't even bleached to the level i wanted nor was it toned properly . it turned out brassy yellow when i wanted a platinum / ash blonde . the lady who helped me continued to end the session and say we wouldn't continue and suggest i wait before puttin more color in my head . i paid $300 for an unfinished session and my sister paid $300 for an unfinished session . and i don't see what the point in doing a "strip test" first was if in the end it would turn up that my hair wouldn't be able to be finished . i honestly could have bleached my hair with bleach cream at home to look just like this i swear . and please start brushing hair from bottom to top to prevent breakage !!! but on a good note i will say she was very sweet the lady that helped me no doubt , but i am highly disappointed in the outcome of my hair . if stylist feel she couldn't have done it right i think she should have told me i would have been rather understanding . now im upset bc i spent $300 for my hair to not be what i expected .
