It reminds me of Pigment in San Diego having a baby with a quirky pier one back in the day. I picked up a cup, lotion, and a poster from 3 different stores and would've loved to bring a clock and light fixture back to the states with me.

It is still definitely a store for chefs and people in the food, industry rather than tourist. More tourist are going to the shop, but it doesn't really accommodate a lot of people. My daughter actually went to purchase some cooking supplies. Each piece is marked with a number You then go to a book and look up the number to see the price of the item. The staff were helpful if you ask them questions. I actually went outside after a few minutes because the store was small and crowded. The area around the store was a nice place to and people watch. It's the beginning of a park that stretches to Les Halles Mall.

Wonderful selection of cookware and bakeware in Paris…read more It's not a far walk from the metro station through some quaint Paris neighborhoods. The store is not huge but has a lot of selection crammed into a modest space. They have products from all over the world and all sorts of items for cooking and baking including pans of all kinds, small appliances, fondant, silicone molds, colorings, and so much more. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and seemed happy to help. It was super hot in the store, though. Check their hours as they close for an hour mid-day on Saturday. We found a few silicone mats (Silpats) for baking macarons, but be warned that the sizes are not exactly the same as those sold in the U.S., so they might not perfectly fit your baking sheets. They had the versions for bread as well (Silpans). Prices seemed quite good compared to prices paid in the U.S. probably since these particular items are made in France. This was definitely a fun place to grab a few baking items!

I saw their new collection and ordered many items for my friend's birthday and some of them were for Christmas presents. The total amount of my order with delivery was 122,80 pounds. I placed my order on the 26 of October. Until now - 6 of December I still haven't received anything. It takes a week with the Royal Mail to get anything from France. Pylones sent the parcel with Chronopost and when I tried to track the parcel it was stuck for days without explanation. I wrote to customer service and they replied that they are checking it with Chronopost. Later I wrote to them again because nothing was happening. They told me there is a problem with the label. I was texting again and again trying to find out when I can get the parcel. They said that Chronopost will send it back to them and they will resend it to me with a different courier. They couldn't and wound't send the same parcel to me instead, they are waiting for Chronopost to return it to them and apparently they have no influence over the delivery service they provide. On the 21 for November they texted saying that they will compensate the shipping costs to me, I've got no money from them still and no confirmation that such payment was made. The whole experience is a disgrace. I didn't get the parcel or the money. They keep promising to send it when they will get it back. I will never order from them again. They ruined beautiful surprises I prepared for my friend and I can't afford to spend the same amount of money twice.

This one is located in the Carrousel du Louvre, which is the mall attached to the Louvre, so it is easy to find. Once inside the store you will be able to find that unique gift you want to give to someone or that item that you never knew you needed. The staff here (and at all Pylones) are always nice, friendly, and helpful. This is a great place to find those truly unique thing that you probably did not know even existed.
