Booked for a rehearsal dinner and it was fabulous. I cannot recommend enough. Paul and Jean and…read moretheir crew handled everything for us, we didn't have to worry about a thing. I still keep hearing from people how much fun it was (and even hearing from people who weren't there who heard how great it was). We got catering from Mamma Mia's, and the boat crew handled setting everything up and making sure trays were replenished when they ran out. The bar prices were completely reasonable so we were able to provide open bar for our guests and not break the bank. We were nervous about the weather, our event was in mid-September, but with the plastic paneling side down on the boat, it was completely comfortable. We had just over 30 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. We even had a couple of kids on board and Paul brought out a pirate chest and let them pick out some prizes. They loved it!

Overall good experience! The cruise was well run and organized. We started out with the Pirate; he…read morecame over to us on a boat and the kids were able to quirt him with their squirt guns. The kids did get wet when the pirate squirted them with his squirt gun. My 4-year-old thought the pirate was real and was actually scared. My 8 year old enjoyed squirting the pirate in the eye with water. They pulled a treasure chest out of the water and were able to each grab some coins. Pulling the treasure chest out of the water was a big hit. The boat itself does not look like a "ship" with any kind of special pirate type decorations. They also had a crab trap in the water and let the kids handle the different types of crabs. On the way back to shore they had a limbo dance contest with the kids, and they all had fun. Overall, worth the money!

This past week, six of us went on our third annual trip with Moment Sailing Adventures around the…read moreProvincetown harbor. Each time, the six hour trip is a different adventure, dependent on the wind and what we want to do that day. One year we just cruised up and down Herring Cove beach, taking the motorized jetty out so we could run some of the waves. One year we stayed in the Bay and looked at seals (as well as the normal Provincetown otters and bears). This past week, with limited wind, we just relaxed on the boat in the middle of the bay, jumping into the water when drinking white wine on-deck became too demanding. Six men (plus the captain, Chris) fit very comfortably on the deck, and Chris is beyond patient with our (still) pretty basic questions on the sailing life. He has great stories and is incredibly friendly. This is always a highlight of the week for us. With a stunning backdrop of Provincetown, an great captain, and a beautiful boat, there's nothing else like it.

He was informative, helpful and so very connected to the boat and the sea; we were so lucky to have him share our time on the Moment. We hope to be able to return and relive our journey again and again.
