Very friendly and fast service. Unfortunately my feta cheese in my not inside out Greek omelet was sour and I felt sick afterwards.

Had to wait a while for a seat. Placed our order. I ordered what the menu said was sliced steak on a roll of some sort. i wanted it without what came on it and asked for only onion on it. I repeated the order at least three time. It came with everything but onion. Sent it back. It came back without onion and it was not sliced steak it was Philly steak. Different waitress each time. I pointed out that this was not what was advertise. She said that's what it's says on the menu. Came back with the menu and acted all surprised that it had been worded that way. On top of that the food was horrible. I took it home and fed it to my dog. Felt kinda bad for him. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This was a nice find to enjoy brunch /lunch with friends. Not being from Woodstock, it was a great find. The place was busy for a Saturday morning. We had about a 15 minute but servers were efficient and food came out in a reasonable time. I had the burger which was great. Friends had eggs Benedict, pancakes, and Rueben sandwich. Everything looked and tasted great and portions were a good size and reasonable priced. The restaurant was clean, had a nice look and atmosphere. Definite place to return. read more

The manager is rude and unprofessional. I think his goal is to get as many customers through his door as possible; however, if he continues to speak disrespectfully and make false accusations to customers, he will be losing more clientele than winning good customers! He was rude to me because I came in solo and asked for a more spacious table. I guess I was a poor customer because I wasn't a table of four! He won't be getting my patronage any longer. If one of his serving staff were to speak to me the way he did, they would likely be reprimanded. Since he is a manager, I have no avenue by which to complain other than online. Upscale deli style restaurant with bankettes and tables and chairs. Few larger tables but may be able to create areas for groups. I asked about the WiFi and they do not do it for customers but they use it for ordering on wait staff tablets. It was suggested that some folks connect to the KFC. That does not seem very fair to them and I found it was too spotty to try. My spouse ordered the fish and chips. Lots of fries under the single big piece of fish. She felt that the fish was not fully cooked although edible. For the price she would have expected two pieces and could have done with slightly fewer fries. The liver presentation was interesting. Mounding the mash with the liver slices going up was OK. The shredded onions were not found initially as they were only at the top and covered in very dark gray. The side veggies were OK. It all tasted fine but I could have used a steak knife instead of the usual table knife to cut the liver which typically can contain some tougher sections. Service was on par considering it was not busy. Being an open kitchen style, staff kvetching could be clearly heard and was not appreciated. read more

Visited Jesse's with friends a month ago and my husband and I just loved the food and service...approx 1 week later my husband and I visited again, there was a mix up on my order but it was quickly dealt with, and once again we agreed we would come back.., Today's visit was terrible, we arrived waited in line 10 minutes (only people in line) and a waitress said I have people leaving at a booth, I will seat you there momentarily, after 10 ministers another waitress came by we said we were waiting for the waitress to come back and seat us, she went to get the waitress; the waitress proceeded to tell us "sorry I thought the people we're leaving but they didn't), and once again we were left standing at the door waiting....we could see there were empty tables, the least The waitresses could of done is sit us down with a coffee....,. We left.....this was obviously very poor customer service read more

Had breakfast-lunch here on our way to London. Great food, pleasant restaurant, good parking. Ely was a great waitress. I ordered the Asiago Bacon Skillet and it was very tasty and a generous portion. My wife had the True Canadian and was also very pleased with it. read more

Went there tonight because it looked pretty busy the last time O was in the area and it's licensed. Arrived around 6:45 on Saturday night. The place was pretty much empty. Our hostess/server was on it. We were seated immediately and drink orders were taken. The menu has a fairly good selection if you are not vegan or vegetarian. Husband ordered the beef dip with fries and gravy, and a draft. I don't eat animal often so my choices were very limited. They worked wth me and I ordered a baked potato and grilled veggie skewer, light in the oil. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. No complaints here. Apparently the owner thinks vegan options are for the hipsters and doesn't worry about them. As mentioned above they worked with me, the waitress was very understanding and happy to work with my requests. I'd definitely go back because of our server. I been to Jessie's many times in the last two years since my girlfriend and I move to Woodstock. It is always a joy to eat at Jesse's the food is amazing and the staff is as well. The breakfast is particularly delicious,the rest of the menu is good as well. The staff is very happy and joyful to see you. It can get a little prices at times but you won't regret your stay at Jesse's. The only unfortunate thing about Jesse's is that they do not have wifi beside that it is perfect. I still give this hotspot a 5 stars and I recommend this restaurant to any one who is hungry for delicious homemade food. read more

Enjoyed many meals here while living in Woodstock, breakfast being a favourite. Its always nice to have healthier options for breakfast prepared properly and handled by friendly staff. The eggs benedict is fantatsic as is their fresh squeezed orange juice. read more

Definitely not the dining experience I was expecting. Came in for breakfast with my wife. It was a bit busy but I didn't think would take 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Well most of it anyways. It took an extra 5 minutes for my pancakes to come. And I had to ask for syrup. Also my wife wasn't impressed with the small amount of cheese added to her omelette for $1 or the hard / untoasted toast. We did however get a gift certificate for $10 after complaining to the manager. read more

Restaurant was at half capacity and we were told we would not see any food for close to an hour. If they can't keep up at half capacity I would hate to think of the wait time at two thirds or full capacity. Don't waste your time going there on a Sunday for lunch apparently they have enough business with out yours. read more

My wife and I have eaten at this place about a dozen times - each time, we hope it will be a better experience (there aren't many breakfast options in Woodstock). Unfortunately, it's always kind of crummy. The food itself is fine, but: 1) The service isn't good. Today, for example, they missed items from the order, had an outdated menu (so we were expecting things that didn't come, and they didn't mention that), it took about 20 minutes to get their attention to correct the order, and they forgot to get us refills on our coffee (after we asked). They just always seem understaffed or something, and so you never really get good service. 2) Some of their staff have this irksome habit of referring to 'meat' as 'protein'. Okay, I get it - this sounds trivial. But this rubs us the wrong way for a few reasons: a) Saying an order is 'no protein' is technically wrong, especially when there's a pile of eggs on the plate. b) It sounds negative. 'Protein' is a good thing, and makes you feel a bit like they're criticizing your breakfast in a weird passive-aggressive way. c) When you're a vegetarian (those most likely to order 'no meat' breakfasts) this rings especially true. d) It just comes across as sort of obnoxious - like they're trying to be hip by calling it protein. We've given this place lots of chances to correct course, but we're always left disappointed. We don't have crazy-high standards, really. If we get a coffee refill and the food we ordered we're happy campers. read more

I've tried to give this place many opportunities to change my mind. Always disappointed one way or the other. I have only had 1 ok meal. Regular breakfast is horrible ( tried a few times), tasteless. And those shredded potatoes? What were they thinking?! Service is bad. Getting a refill of water to have with your meal is like they have to fetch water from a well. Every time! It would be hard for me to give this place a bad review if it weren't for the service. I had the Beef Dip sandwich which was quite tasty for a reasonable price. However, we waited almost a half an hour for the bill. When we finally asked the in-house manager for our bill, we were brought a bill with all of the meals together. Upon asking for it to be separate, we were snarkily told "Well maybe you should have told me that earlier". Clean conditions, friendly and quick service but food was meh. Had a wrap and the lettuce was slimy. The wrap was much too small for the contents and completely fell apart first bite. I must also have gotten the last of the fries as most of my helping consisted of little burnt fry bits. Too bad because the place had good atmosphere, fit, and finish and tons of potential. Sorry Jesse, I'm not sure I would return based on this experience. read more
