The prices were great and it's close to work and home so I figured I'd check them out since I was due for a haircut BAD. Like it was just a grown out mess. I booked a cut with Travis since I saw his name mentioned a couple times in the reviews and the people were right. Ever since I started going to Travis, I get a lot of compliments on my hair/hairstyle, seriously. And honestly I really like my new hairstyle too. I think the compliments might be gettin' to my head at this point 'cause this shit got me movin' different lmao. Anyway, bro is talented. Y'all need to book Travis for your cuts!! Cuts aside, the shop is clean, modern, and minimal. Prices are great and more importantly I walk out of the shop feeling like a million bucks every time. Really glad I discovered this spot.

I'm sure different barbers have different skill levels. But the one time I had tried out this place…read morethe cut was mediocre at best. I believe the barber cutting my hair was newer to the industry, which he told me. And that explains the lack of talent he had. I paid $35.00 for a cut that was much shorter than I requested. That price didn't include a wash or anything special. The same priced hair cut at major chain stores lands you a massage and hair rinse. I haven't returned since.

You have one of those days from time to time, don't you? I was having one of them today!…read more You know?!? You wake up and just feel like "damn!", I am one tall glass of sexiness, mixed with an extra shot of guapo. And not a moment too soon, since today I would be meeting some old friends, many of them being females that are either newly divorced or single for way too long. They would be no match for my sexiness/guapo mixture, especially once I slipped into my designer jeans to accompany my devil may care attitude. I was in my flow state, walking on cloud 9, feeling invinsible as I entered the living room when it all came crashing down. "Nice hair brillo head!" I heard bellowed at me like I had a metaphorical sign on my metaphorical back saying "kick me in my metaphorically emotional butt!" Sure, I wanted to punch the mouth that spewed these confidence crushing words but deep down, I could never hit my mother, no matter how mean she was being. Instead, I decided to be proactive and set up an appointment with Edwin at Headshot Barbers while pondering what a Brillo Head is anyways. I needed a skilled barber at an accomadating location and there is no more skilled a barber than Edwin (co-owner) and no more an accomadating a barber shop than Headshot Barbers. After Edwin was done with my haircut I was bedazzled with the image of myself staring back at me through the mirror. I sped home and rushed into the living room where my mother was watching "One LIfe to Live" and just let her bask in the 'Adonis-eque' beauty that was me. She was speechless as was expected and I ended up having arguably the best night of my life, all thanks to my haircut. Stay keeping your hair fresh and tight my friends...
