The waitress was fantastic; although the menu was all in German; she did her best to translate for us Americans and even used an app on her phone to help. The food was wonderful. It was wonderful to meet him in person and express my appreciation. The restaurant features a contemporary design with indoor and outdoor seating. The open kitchen is directly behind the counter seating. We started with the Pumpkin Soup that our server suggested we split. It was amazing. My daughter ordered the Panzerotti pasta with blue cheese, plum and oyster mushroom. My choice was the Veal Fillet which was a substantial serving and incredibly tasteful and tender. The Pear Strudel was a perfect desert to end our meal. Excellent service, pricing and presentation. This restaurant deserves it own Michelin star.

This came with green beans with bacon and grilled potatoes. I've never actually had a grilled pork shoulder. Being so used to the more fire version with the crispy skin, I really did appreciate the flavors that go into grilling it. The meat was still juicy with a bit of salt; it all paired well with the salt from the bacon and potatoes. Overall great meal with good service and easily able to wash it all down with some German beer. Just keep in mind that the place is a bit small, so you want to either get there early or head for the outdoor seating.

Located in a residential neighborhood on a Neu Isenburg street the Naturfreundehaus host was as welcoming to my son and I as could be! Even though we provided a German greeting, it was obvious that we were out of town non- Deutschlanders! They provided English menus and a recommendation of a local pilsners which was quite tasty. They have a fair bit of outdoor seating and the place was full when we arrived for lunch. They have a daily special and today was Schnitzeltag (Mondays). I had the Grune Sauße which is a local specialty in the Frankfurt area and mine came with boiled potatoes and pork shoulder that has been boiled and baked (at least I think it is). The whole dish was flavourful, herby and fragrant. It tasted divine and I finished every morsel on the plate :-)) Service here is friendly and helpful and they accommodated us even though they were busy and got us on our way quick. I would happily come here anyday for a meal and try most things on the menu :-) my colleagues loved their meals and come here often. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Service was fantastic and the Dry Riesling was incredible.
