My name is Brenda mother of five (age range- 32, 30, 25 with autism , 22, & 21) grandmother of three. I went to the Jerviss's place to look at a couple of brother horses, BlackBurn Bred. I had just recently purchased a horse in Montana who did not fit well with my family, he was in outfitting horse and that's all he did, that was his job and he didn't wanna do anything else so ; with that being said we sold him to a California Police Search and Rescue Team which gave him the same job that he had up in Montana. When I got to the Jarvis Ranch I was very impressed everything as well kept organized the horses were very well kept. I took my daughter up and spent two days up there with her to make sure that it was a good fit for her and the rest of my family as I have a adult child with Asperger's. After talking about what we, as a family needed in a horse she was not shy about telling me which one of the two brother horses would be the best fit. After spending two days with the horse that she had picked out she came to love him instantly as well, as the rest of my family. I returned alone and I purchased this horse on June 11th 2017. His name is Pete. Pete is everything Barbara Jerviss told me he was, and would continue to be and, he is. He has made a huge difference in our lives. He is trustworthy, sweet, gentle and I wouldn't trade him for anything In the world. If your truly looking for (not good), but "GREAT Horse", do yourself a favor and see them first they have a great selection of wide range horses and the ability to perfectly match you to that horse you've been looking to find. "Trust me save yourself some time". Thank you Barbara, for our Pete, a very beautiful and Trustworthy Steed. read more
