I went to their toms River location in an attempt to purchase vitamins. While being run up I was informed that the cards had expired. There were no expiration dates and I had the original receipt for the purchase of the cards. The cashier told me that they simply pull the cards out of circulation if they are not used for a year but contacting corporate the cards could be reissued. As of today, June 11th 2025 I have made three phone calls with vitamin world customer service, provided the purchase information for the gift cards and have been promised that they would be emailed and reissued. This has gone on for over 3 months and they simply are not reissuing the cards. I find this to be a very deceitful practice and would absolutely never patronize a business like this in the future. When these places go bankrupt they all blame Amazon or people online shopping, when they have no one other than their poor customer service to blame.
