Take 5 months for repairs, no communication from workers on progress. Rude when you call for updates! Find another place no good!!!

Horribly poor and slow service. The winter will be here before you get the lawn mower you brought in in the spring Most discourteous.

Traveling from Hawaii, stopping in New York for a few days, and continuing on to Pennsylvania(PA)…read moreto visit family. We brought cooked/frozen Samoan food for our PA family (IYKYK), and I was worried because our NY hotel did not have a restaurant/freezer space for us to use. Checked Yelp and Armato Ice & Firewood Co. popped up. I messages the number at 8pm, and Tony responded within 15min. I explained the situation, and he apologized because he said my order was too small for a delivery (I only needed 5lbs), so I would have to pick up dry ice from their shop on E 88th Street. Cool, no problem. Next morning, 8:30 am, i went to business address to pick up 5lbs, and called Tony but he was stuck in rush hour traffic for another hour. He graciously offered to drop off dry ice to my hotel before noon, during their normal deliveries. Even though it was a small order, he understood my situation and cared enough to help me keep my food frozen for the next few days, so my PA family can enjoy authentic Samoan food. Thank you for your help, Tony! Your kindness and efficiency shows that the Aloha spirit exists in New York! Mahalo

Armato Ice & Firewood is so necessary during the heat of Summer and the dead of Winter. I remember…read moretimes when we had issues keeping food and drinks cold and there was a run on ice. Places like Rite Aid in my building started stocking up on ice. This company is on notice 24 hours and will deliver it to your home or business. This morning the very friendly employees were loading the freezer in my neighborhood. These are well stocked for the delivery men to pick up the ice for delivery when you need ice. I'm telling you that if you have a picnic or big celebration you will have plenty of ice and it's delivered to your door. I'm recommending!

Short answer: There was not. The produce may be fresh and local, but you can find that in other stores or stands for well less than the prices here. (Example: $5/lb for tomatoes.) There were only two relatively short outdoor rows of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and then a fairly cramped interior space with some more harvests (pumpkins, being fall), one refrigerator with cider, one freezer with ice cream, and a few shelves of jam. Very small selection overall, and at best the ice cream qualifies as "not unreasonable" for pricing. I think the only thing Richfield's got going is that it's in a semi-urban location, so you are hard-pressed to find a similar place nearby. But other than the experience of walking around outdoors for a few minutes, I would say just get your fruits and veggies at Whole Foods (or, if you're not local, find a farm closer to you).

Bought delicious apple cider donuts and some other jars of preserves and the best buy of all - a Big Green Egg grill for a steal of a price! They have a lovely selection of garden decorations and other items. Highly recommend!!!
