I must say that I immediately felt at home here and well taken care of. They may not know it, but they are now my extended medical family. First, Mary at the front desk has a very calming demeanor. She is patient and always returns calls when I need to change appointments or cancel them. Second, the PA's that I have worked with (Salem and Alex) and pleasant and informative. Alex is accommodating and has a quiet confidence about her. She clearly knows what she is doing (she conducted my initial evaluation) and has been professional and empathetic. I recently cried during an appointment when I felt down about my reliance on others for help. She reassured me what I was feeling was normal and let me express my sadness. Third, the PTAs are knowledgable and encouraging. They take great care to ensure I am making progress by pushing me just enough and watching me as I exercise and correcting my form. I have worked closely with both Patricia and Tamarys and I can say with confidence that they are the reason I am recovering from my ACL reconstruction so nicely. Both are astute, good listeners, and share a wealth of information about ways to stretch and strengthen various parts of my knee and leg. Lastly, there are two people that may not get as much credit as they should. Sam and Chris are the aides that help patients complete their exercises, make them laugh, keep them company, pass them towels and stretch bands and ice them down at the end. I can ask for just about any thing and they are willing to help. I got to know Sam while doing PT this summer. Many times I had to bring my toddler along with me (which was very nice of them to allow me to do and I am grateful for) and Sam entertained him as much as he could and made him feel comfortable. So glad I found Park Physical Therapy. I look forward to coming here for treatments and exercises and I know they'll get me back to normal in no time!

I credit this practice for helping me regain my strength and mobility after each procedure, to the point where I am still teaching tap dance. I have had a chronic pain (Tennis elbow) since the last 18-20 months that I was treating through my orthopedic who prescribed Meloxicam and Advil as needed. These medicines have long term issues impacting kidney and liver functions. A friend recommended Gopal Patel at COPT in Somerset and I started my PT under his guidance in mid September 2023. I am very happy to state that I have been cured over 95% and pain intensity is a thing of the past. Gopal is an excellent therapist who never looks at the clock and works tirelessly to treat the symptoms and ensure the patient gets relief from the first therapy itself. I call him a magician as he has been able to help me gain strength and now I am able to do all my chores with ease. Earlier even navigating the car steering was a problem but not any more. I am very very happy to have discovered COPT and drive quite a distance for my therapy - all because the COPT folks genuinely care. Now, even after I have moved over an hour away from them, I continue to go there because the treatment is excellent and the guys are genuine in their care of each and every patient. I've been to chiropractors and physical therapists for more than 2/3 of my life....but these guys are by far the best! You are not just a nameless patient to them...they remember the details about you and know you as a person. For me, some of my favorite things are the fact that Jig (the physical therapist) does manual manipulation for me. He takes the time to really get my neck feeling great again. I've seen the best and worst of physical therapy centers. This is an average experience. This place…read moreis not a fraud, but also not consistent. They have many therapists so your experience will depend mainly on who you get. You may hit the jackpot, or bankrupt. A lot of equipment but a lot of it is for strengthening Rutgers athletes who are young and bounce back quickly. They seem best at strengthening, not so super at correcting specific problems. Maybe I had bad luck recently but I was rather disappointed with how my experience went. Overall a bit too "mass production" for me as a patient. I would say that if you feel your condition isn't improving, go ahead and make a change to another therapist or facility. You need to make yourself priority #1, #2, #3 and every number thereafter. I also note that while this place is, again, not outright fraudulent like some places, they charge a LOT. They tend to pad the bill with things like heat and ice and non-therapist supervised exercises in order to max the insurance payments. If you don't pay anything that's your business, but if you care about the principle or pay a portion of your bill, realize that the bill here is going to be quite a lot... like several TIMES what other places charge for equal or better treatment. I also agree with the reviewer who said you may have to deal with somewhat abrasive people at the front. Billing is also CHAOTIC. In that respect you are in the end dealing with a huge hospital business (Saint Peters) rather than a small physical therapy outfit.
