It's a SHAME that Jersey Mikes advertises a picture of a sub (with a decent amount of meat) that looks nothing like the sub you actually get. I ordered a ham and turkey sub and barely got one slice of each on my sub. When I looked at the sub while eating, I could not see the meat... it was that thin on my sandwich. I only saw lettuce, tomatoes, etc. --- Don't go to this Jersey Mikes if you want a sub sandwich. Choose Subway... Or WaWa...they are nearby. You will get more for your dollar ! My son and I went to Jersey Mikes on Pantios for a quick bite... walked up to the counter and asked the older lady... "Hey, Hpw are you today?" She glared at me and said something under her breath... I said "excuse me?" ..... another glare and then asked gruffly.... What do you want.... I told her.. no more contact whatsoever... meanwhile the other two younger girls were huddled together whispering and giggling. Strange and uncomfortable customer service culture. I noticed they were talking and laughing with each other the whole time and not interacting with the customers at all and when they did it was quite inhospitable. What's happening? The Jersey mikes on 29 is awesome... I'll go to Jimmy Johns from now on. There's another sandwich place within walking distance, may want to get it together. Seems to me like when people don't like their jobs or their customers than it makes me really paranoid about the healthiness of my food. do not use the app to order nor should you use the loyality points at this store. After waiting 40 minutes and watching numerous walk in orders get filled I approached the gentleman at the register for the second time. He claimed there was no order placed for me. I left, upset I had wasted so much time, forgetting I had the confirmation email of my order on my phone. Once I can find a corporate avenue to bring my complaint to, I hope I can get my loyalty points back, although I may never use them again. Delicious sub! I had the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak! The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly. The chicken was very tasty, with just the right seasoning. lettuce was fresh and crispy.... Perfect tomatoes. Very tasty bacon and was crisp. I really haven't had a better sub in a very long time.! Customer service was wonderful very friendly, staff, dining area, immaculate.!!! Once again, another franchise advertises the convenience and ease of online ordering, but cannot deliver. Don't even try to use the app or order online. It is quicker and easier to just stand in line and order an overpriced sandwich. I have never had an online order waiting for me when I arrived at this store. Today, was just too much. The sandwiches are tasty, to order, and quickly made. The prices are reasonable - especially if you have the BOGO deal from the Charlottesville Attractions book! This place is a family favorite for all and this is a great and convenient location with plenty of parking and a brand new building. So, I ordered online and had my husband pick up our order on his way home. He said it was a joke trying to pick the food up. Everyone in the store (employees and the manager) were laughing joking and playing around, not taking care of the customers while there was many waiting! Don't order from here! I recently ordered several hot sandwiches via the app. When I arrived, there was a younger woman that walked in at the same time that I did. The folks there bent over backwards to prepare her order and left me standing there. One even went do far as to just throw my sandwiches on the back counter and run to make hers. My sandwiches were ready and hers were not but I couldn't get mine because the only two employees not working on customer orders both jumped to help her and left me standing there. The actual important reason why I am giving one star is because staff looked past some lady, with multiple kids and dogs running around, put her dog on the damn counter. The food counter. Horrible food. Go to subway before you try this place. The bread was extremely hard and the lettuce tasted like absolute dirt.

The club that we ordered was wonderful, my friend thouroghly enjoyed it! My wrap was unfortunately gross. The wrap of the pastrami ruben was at least slimy, at best not to be eaten. Ok, I get it you have not found out that it is 2019 and if you are going to wrap anything, it should be flat bread or something other than a grocery store tortilla. But, ok I'm Jewish and I love me some pastrami. However, on my first bite I didn't taste pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut or thousand island dressing. I tasted an odd taste which resulted in the dog getting the pastrami and the "wrap" went into the trash. (And my dog is my life.) As this is Charlottesville. 8/26/2019 I went to the place 265 Merchant Walk Ave Unit 1004 Charlottesville, VA 22902 and I got in line and there were two employees and they just looked at me I waited like 5 minutes and nobody attended to me they just looked at me and I better left. Only complaint I have is the fact I had ordered a hot sub and waited for 15 minutes when I needed it to be in the go (obviously on my lunch break) the sub was cooked in 5 min and they my sub sat in the counter for 10 min yes I timed it I was in my lunch ,,soon as I got back to work I couldn't eat it because I specifically asked for no onions (allergic white and red) there a ton of them. Good little sub shop. They cut your meat in front of you so you know it's not been sitting around . You get your standard toppings and can have it hot or cold. The staff was friendly and the sub was good. A bit on the pricey side for being a sub. read more
