What I like, very easy parking situation... very wide open, bright area to get an idea of what you may want on any given night.. Craft beer, now I see they have a wine tasting section, but most importantly, prices are great. This is the spot. Formerly they were across the street and called Wine World . When they were moving I couldn't imagine their inventory getting much bigger...I was so wrong. They already had the biggest and best beer selection in town as WW. Now as JFW their selection blows away the previous stock. They still sell singles of EVERY BEER they carry. This place is insane to say the least. If the amount of options is overwhelming ask the staff. They're seasoned pros who know what they've got and will set you up with something suiting to your taste. They know my wife's taste better than I do. That's perfect because after spending 20 minutes picking out beer for myself it only takes one more minute for Matt to tell me what my wife would like. Their knowledge far surpass' the beer stock. I've seen them make recommendations for spirits based style and price range. I've seen people come in knowing almost nothing about the wine they drank last night, but somehow leave with the exact bottle they were looking for. I've personally been recommended beer I knew nothing about and went back the next day for more. If you love NJ they've got you covered...Icarus, Cypress, Double Nickel, Czig Meister, Carton, Jersey Girl, Cape May, Bolero Snort, Alementary, and although not beer Melvino Mead. I know I'm forgetting some but they've got you covered if you want to drink local. If I had a gripe it'd be that I can't buy a beer and just drink it there. This was my go to liquor store but unfortunately I will not go there again because of price gouging. The Wawa hard iced tea was/is very limited they had it there and the owner told me 1 can costs $6 and the 6 PACK costs $30. THE RETAIL PRICE OF THE 6 PACK IS $12.99. They are now the first place I will spend my money at! Their customer service has always been great and they are so willing to order special bottles for you, and that's why I refer my friend here, too. They have a great selection of wines and it looks like a great selection of beers. Their spirit selection is wonderful, fairly priced. They don't have the largest variety of the mini 50mL bottles so be warned if you're on a mission just for those. They're really up front about when to expect things that are sold out. The store is clean and spacious and organized. I miss the wine tasting station and look forward to the day when it comes back post-pandemic. Definitely worth a trip! read more

Came in on a whim and was amazed by how massive this store truly is. Very friendly staff work here which is always nice, because when you have the variety a place like this has, it's nice to have a friendly voice guide you when you can easily be overwhelmed. The customer service doesn't stop there. I inquired a few weeks ago a series of limited edition Game of Thrones whiskeys that were coming out. One of the employees there, I believe his name was Dan told me that they were going to be hard to find, and he wasn't sure when they would be getting them in, but wrote down my contact info and the ones that I was interested in. Sure enough a couple weeks go by, and I get a voicemail telling me my order is in and stored away in the office, just to drop in at my leisure, tell them what I'm there for and they'll take care of me. The prices are fair, at least in my opinion. Some places might have stuff a wee bit cheaper, but to save a buck or two isn't that important when you have customer service this place offers, plus the proximity of this store. read more

Best beer store in Monmouth County. The selection is huge with large number of local NJ brews from Icarus, Cypress, Alementary, Bolero Snort, etc. If you love trying a bunch of new beers this is an awesome place because they sell every beer they stock as a single can. This way you can try out stuff without committing to a full 4 or 6 pack. The staff is also super helpful and give great recommendations based on your tastes. Great selection of beer! Started going here on suggestion of my friend Christian C. I'm just getting into the different craft beer out there and these guys definitely know there stuff. Both Matt and Dan are very friendly and are very happy to help you pick something out. They are always around and eager to help. Their mix six pack is definitely worth it alone. Great way to try different beers without having to commit to a 4/6 pack of all one thing. Big and spacious, it's a pleasant shopping experience. Nice selection of craft beers, too. TLDR: In an area of New Jersey that appears to be a craft beer desert, this place undoubtedly seems like the best store for craft beer. Full disclaimer - I am not from New Jersey and I can't say I am too knowledgable about the area around Jersey Fine Wine. However, looking at multiple sources, including Yelp and Google, this part of New Jersey isn't exactly a treasure trove when it comes to craft beer. Breweries seem to be quite spread out along the coast or up north in Newark. Basically, not much to speak of within 20-30 miles. With not enough time to justify a trip out of East Brunswick, I decided to have a bottle share instead to sample the craft beer offerings of New Jersey. After visiting Jersey Fine Wine, this place seems like a great option with a wide selection of beers, both local and global. Like any good bottle shop, this place has a mixed six pack option where you can buy singles of a wide variety of beers. Not knowing much, if anything, about the New Jersey craft beer scene, I got a really solid selection of beers from breweries like: - Departed Soles - Wet Ticket - Flying Fish - Paradox - Bolero Snort - Cape May - Dark City All were really good and ones I would definitely visit if the opportunity presented itself. The only downside to this place is that some of the singles they put out were definitely on the older side, which isn't ideal for trying beers like IPAs, which need to be fresh. Also, as far as I could tell, there wasn't a rapid beer chiller available either. Either way, this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in a situation like mine. read more

This is a great small wine store in East Brunswick. It's located next to Irwin Elementary School where Pathmark used to be. Great selection of wines , and had a lot of great brands for each wine. The store is small, and not huge with a variety, but I ended up finding the wine I was looking for. Store has few aisles as well. WHat scared me the most was when the cashier slammed the wine bottle in my bag. It almost looked like she was going to break it. However, this is a great wine store. read more

So since they opened, I wanted to give Jersey Fine Wine an ample chance before I reviewed. My experience tonight finally clinched it. I've noticed that this store seems to have too much space for the amount of stock they have. Make no mistake, there is a ton of inventory in this place, but the amount of square footage still does not justify it. Shelves always seems bare and quadruple faced to give the impression of more. Minor complaint, I realize; just an observation is all. Prices are good, many items within cost as far as I can recall the numbers from my days of working in a liquor store. I find the cashiers friendly, but generally inattentive and apathetic. Again, mild first-world bitching. The one thing, however, which sets off my Moe Sizlack eye twitch is the repeated asking of "Can I help you?" from those working the sales floor. Of course those of you in the know of retail realize that guiding me towards the appropriate inebriating beverage is not in their minds, but rather this seemingly innocent statement doubles as a form of deterrence for potential shoplifters..... The second time in a row I've perused the wines and have had workers ask me this question, which immediately makes me feel like a criminal, even though I'm college educated, stably employed and have never stolen anything in my life. Tonight, I debated which shit $10 port I wanted to buy, because I need to be drunk enough to block out the stupidity in my life. A fine gentleman with spiky white hair said to me, "You look lost, is there something I can help you with?" or something of that nature. It was too low for me to hear. Instead of ignoring him or simply replying with a "huh?" I said in an equally low voice. "No, I'm I'm fine." and then muttered a bunch of sarcastic shit under my breath. Whether he heard me or not I can't say. One thing I do know is that he immediately entered the same aisle I was in with a box and started replenishing the stock. Coincidence? Possibly. Asshole? Most likely. I then grabbed my stuff, went to the register just in time for the cashier to walk away from me. So, maybe it's time I become a more discriminate consumer. I.e. stop going to a place that treats me like the scumbags who probably frequent the Burlington Coat Factory and the Aldi. As I start to get older, I'm realizing that my wallet and my vote do count in this world. In short, any asshole with a liquor license can get the same products Jersey "Fine" Wine has. I experienced probably the best customer service ever with this store!! Recently I was looking for a hard to find brandy for a special occasion and found it here. I ordered it on-line in plenty of time to be shipped across the country. Unfortunately there was a snafu with the order and Jeffery, the store manager, took it upon himself to pay out of his own pocket for a two day shipment so that we could get it in time. This was so incredibly kind of him and we can't thank him enough for going out of his way. This is over the top, in my opinion. read more

The store is big, but the wine selection is limited. Half the shelves were empty. "We're waiting for a delivery." More like 20 deliveries. Prices were 20% higher than other area stores. And don't bother with their 15-20% off couponon mixed cases -- it doesn't apply to "national brands" which basically covers most wines you know about. False advertising... read more
