If you are looking for an EXCELLENT handyman that undertakes any job --either big or small --…read moredefinitely call Cliff. First off - he responds promptly which is impressive in itself. Second - he shows up when he says he will & offers free estimates. I had Cliff do several odd jobs that needed tackled (install hardwired fire/carbon detectors, install threshold strips, repair misaligned doors, install new auto door locks, install new door bell & cover & a few other odd jobs) He was meticulous - every task was done to perfection..His rates are very reasonable especially for the quality of work he performs. I only wish I had hired or known Cliff before work I had done previously by an inept contractor prior. Thankfully Cliff was able to correct the mistakes "they" did. I don't usually give reviews, but Cliff is by far more than worthy of an excellent review. Thanks again Cliff for all the jobs you did and the extreme good work!

Exceptional, Awesome and Deserve to be Recognized!…read moreAffordable Builders helped us with what a terrible contractor did in the beginning that we fired and then hired Affordable Builders. Ed Luchey, his sons and all his guys have done very profession work and went way beyond. They built us a new beautiful front porch with cedar lumber, stamped concrete, standing seam metal roof, board and batten siding and windows. Every person that we have come in contact with that works for Affordable Builders has been exceptional! These guys are awesome and deserve to be recognized! We would not hesitate to recommend Affordable Builders. (Linesville PA, September 2024)

Decent and quiet area with no complaints about the property. I lived there for a year prior to moving out of state for other work. The issue comes in when attempting to attain my deposit. Several emails and texts to the property manager only gets me the information that Pascoe Builders is under Chapter 11 reorg and that the 30-day rule for return of a tenant's deposit is not valid. Additional written communications back and forth essentially letting me know "the check is in the mail" with no further follow up. It is now going on 60-days with no deposit return or word of what to expect next from the U.S. Trustee. Nice enough properties but lack the professional courtesy of follow through.

I have a Cape Cod style house with a large dormer out the back which covers the upstairs bathroom…read more After all the rain this past summer, I found water spots in the bathroom ceiling. I called two roofing companies for estimates. One wouldn't touch the job unless they got to do the whole roof at a cost of $12,000+. The other would do just the repairs to the dormer but not guarantee the work. I called my insurance agent and found insurance would not pay to repair/replace. He referred me to Sharon Roofing. Fred came out the next day. He actually went UP ON THE ROOF to look (the other two didn't), he took pictures of what he thought may be the problem and showed them to me. While he was up there, he caulked the cracks and holes that he saw (no charge). He gave me a very reasonable estimate and included a guarantee of the work and materials. The job was done 10/13/2021. I'm extremely pleased with their efficiency and professionalism, and happy with the job overall.
