The kind folks at Jerry Remus took very good care of me. I was taking a trip from Denver to Sioux Falls South Dakota with my 5 year old daughter Corrine and my dog Casey. I was about 2.5 hours outside of Denver when we stopped at a gas station to use the facilities. When I turned the car off, a message flashed on my dashboard - No Key Fob Detected, press brake to restart. Somehow I was able to drive away from my home in Denver with the key still in the garage - unbelievable! Luckily I was able to restart the car, but I needed to have a new Fob made in order to get to South Dakota without risking safety issues on the balance of the trip. My husband called Jerry Remus, and confirmed they had a Fob in inventory - and I proceeded to the dealership. When I arrived, the team ensured that we all were settled comfortably in the waiting room - including my dog Casey - it was a very hot day and it would have been difficult without that courtesy. There were several wonderful employees that entertained both my daughter and my dog for the nearly three hours we were at the dealership that day. When we found that the problem could not be corrected until the next day, they helped me find a hotel that would allow dogs and ensured to give me a loaner car so that we were comfortable for the night. First thing in the morning, on a Saturday, the dealership made sure the key was programmed and we were able to get back on the road by 9:30 in the morning. I purchased a vehicle from Jerry remus in North platte in 2024. At the time of sale there was no disclosure that the vehicle had been in a previous accident. I specifically asked about a carfax report before buying, the salesperson went on at length about how unreliable carfax is. Eight months later I received a free car fax report when I took the car in for service, and discovered the accident history myself, making the value of the vehicle a LOT less than what I owe. THis lack of Transparency is disappointing and erodes trust, for all the "we live in the area and rely on repeat customers so you can trust us" Always get your own vehicle history report, these people can't be trusted. read more

So my sister bought a car from here. A new 2021 Nissan Rouge with only 50000 miles on it. When we test drove it was perfect. We took it back home there was smoke coming out the exhaust every time she started it. Turned out to be an engine oil leak. Now the engine needs replaced, has to add oil to it every week. She called me tonight now there's problems with the coolant, whole car is smoking and it's broke down. No way to get to work tomorrow. Man F*ck that. My sister goes to college works at the same time and now has to worry about a loan for a shit car that a lousy salesman sold her. Spoke with Jared over the phone over the course of a week and came to a spoken agreement on a car for a certain mileage and price. When my friend went to test drive it they sent it away as a loaner ( Unprofessional in my opinion especially knowing he was coming and having made an agreement) he wouldn't talk about how they did that. Needless to say I said I'd take the car for $400 less since it needed new rotors he said it doesn't for a while. They were very unprofessional and rude over the phone and lost my business and my family's future business for $400. read more

Took my Hummer H2 in for repairs per suggestion from Brett Meyers, and what a disaster occurred. My last review was pushed to the bottom, please look at this review as this dealership was quite dishonest, unorganized, and unethical in their inability to repair my H2 after going over the repair list with numerous employees, supervisors, as well as the GM of Jerry Remus. I am quite upset with the lack of professionalism exhibited by employees, managers, and GM. The ability to not interpret my repairs correctly, nor complete the repairs correctly, coupled with a sheer unprofessional attitude have created my inability to do business with this dealership. They may have a "body shop", however I would not be able to provide business to as my H2 has overspray on the bottom, with a GM stating, "We did not charge you, did we." Took My Cadillac CTS in for repairs, was told the vehicle was ready for pickup. When I got the vehicle noticed that I was getting alerts: Service Traction Control, Service Break Assist, etc. I had to tell them that the vehicle was showing these alerts and they decided to keep the vehicle for another day to fix the issues. These alerts where not the reason for the visit. This is not the first time this has happened. Another time I took my Chevy Silverado in for an oil change and while in the shop they ran another vehicle ran into mine damaging the read end. Another time I took my Cadillac CTS in for Hail damage repairs and it was returned with the moon roof assembly incorrectly mounted and water got into my vehicle. Another time I took my Chevy Silverado for hail damage repairs, they stated it was ready but they forgot to replace a broken passenger rear view mirror. In all instances proper corrections where made after I pointed out the issues, but I no longer trust their service and feel that they are doing a very poor job due to lack of attention to detail. These recurring issues have led me to the conclusion I am better off taking my vehicles elsewhere. It's to bad cause I really liked Jerry Remus dealership. read more

While traveling to our home near St Louis from Reno, NV our Duramax showed an emissions code and reduced power. We called, as well as OnStar, every GMC dealer in the Cheyenne and Denver area. All advised it would be up to a week to get us in. It was surprising that there is not a culture of urgency to assist a GMC owner during an emergency while traveling. We limped into North Platte, NE and grabbed a hotel. The next morning, a Saturday, we went to Jerry Remus Chevrolet. They immediately looked at the truck, found the problem, had the part in stock and completed the repair. We were able to continue home. We have stopped over years in North Platte while traveling. We find the people and geography beautiful. The service staff at Jerry Remus will always be appreciated. While saddened at the GMC approach in neighboring states we will always have happy thoughts about this dealership. Highly recommended! read more

My girlfriend and I were on a road trip driving through Nebraska with a slow leak in one of my tires. I called ahead to Jerry Remus because I had gotten both my car and tires at a Chevy dealership in Wisconsin. The person I talked to said they wouldn't be open by the time we got there but he'd check with Firestone and get back to me. It was over an hour later and I thought he blew me off, but he called back with the name of a place to go to. He must've called around for me. I was so impressed that he did that!
