I started ketamine treatments with Dr Roofian…read morea year ago and had a good experience at first, but now I am very disappointed in him and his office. I was given a prescription for ketamine nasal spray after my IV sessions and since I hadn't filled it in a few months, the pharmacy didn't have a record of it. I called his office and they said they wouldn't refill it unless I paid the doctor $250 to sit down with him and have him rewrite the prescription. I was not happy with this but agreed to come in and get the prescription which cost $100. The pharmacy was very helpful and I received a month supply of nasal spray. After the month, I called to get my prescription refilled but the pharmacist said I had to have the doctor call to refill it. I was told by Dr Roofian's office that I needed to pay the $250 EVERY month in order to get the $100 prescription filled. That's $350/month just to get this critically important medicine that I need desperately but now I can't afford it because of this ridiculous extra $250 expense on top of the $100 cost for the medicine. This is no way to treat your patients. It feels like this doctor takes advantage of his patients. Shame on Dr. Roofian.
