About a month ago I applied for a position with B&W photography, they emailed me and said they were…read moreinterested in interviewing me for the position as a photographer. They rescheduled my interview after they set a date for the interview and I had to rearrange my whole work schedule around them. When I finally went for my interview the ladies there seemed very nice and the interview went well. They later contacted me congratulating me because they wanted me to come in for a second interview. I was very excited and was looking forward to the interview. They set the date of the second interview for a Monday, I once again had to rearrange my whole work schedule to come to the second interview, the Sunday before my second interview they emailed me telling me they were having to reschedule again for the following Monday. I was a little frustrated but was still optimistic....however they called me the Sunday before the second rescheduled interview and told me they would have to reschedule for a third time, however I specifically asked if we could do the interview on Tuesday instead of Monday due to my current work schedule, they said that wouldn't be a problem and they would see me at 10:00am TUESDAY morning for the second interview. However when I showed up at the studio at 9:50 the Tuesday (of my now four time rescheduled interview) and I was informed that the lady doing the interview wasn't there and that all second interviews were done the day before on Monday. I explained to the lady that I had talked to the interviewer and she had specifically told me that the second interview would take place on TUESDAY. She then told me she'd take my name and number and get back with me. That night I got an email from them saying that they had moved on and found better applicants. I'm sharing this not because I'm upset I didn't get hired. I'm simply sharing this because this whole process was very unethical and promised me a second interview to showcase my talents and they didn't afford me the opportunity. I've never heard of a business that promises a second interview reschedules four times and then when you show up the interviewer isn't even there and they tell you they will contact you and once they do contact you they tell you they have moved on. All in all very frustrated with the whole experience.
