We are the only full functioning provider of physical therapy services of all types to all of Jerome county including the cities of Wendell, Hagerman, Bliss, Shoshone, and smaller outlying communities. We specialize in Sports Medicine and orthopedic care.
Lon Egbert, PT, ATC, was selected in 2002 to be part of the medical staff as a Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer for the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games. He was also selected for the World Games and the Olympic Trials leading up to those games. In 2007 he was again selected to help out at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO and the most recently at the 2008 Track & Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon. He continues to volunteer his time and expertise with the local athletes at Jerome and Wendell schools.
Our office continues to emphasize volunteerism in our communities and schools. We recognize the benefit of assisting our community and educators in making our kids and us as parents healthier and keeping our health care costs controlled. Established in 2006.
Lon is a graduate from Jerome High School and is a strong supporter of our area schools from Hagerman, Gooding, Wendell, Jerome and Lincoln county schools. Jerome Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Clinic has a specialty in sports medicine with Lon Egbert's experience as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist with the 2001 Winter World Cup, 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics Trials and the Olympics, 2006 Olympic Training Center Volunteer Medical Staff, and 2010 Summer Olympic Track & Field Trials at Hayward Field, Eugene Oregon. He has brought his experience back home and to our surrounding communities. The other Doctors of Physical Therapy excel in patient care as well to maintain this high level of care.
