No damage to my lawn AT ALL. First of all and to me very importantly: Adam Murphy has integrity. I asked about work I thought needed to be done (including taking down a large tree). Adam explained why the work wasn't necessary. Second, Murphy's Tree service as a team is extremely professional and clearly exceptionally (not "just" extremely) skillful. They arrived early. I was out running errands. They were finishing up when I got back. Apart from missing trees and work done on a large tree right over my shed up at the back of my yard in a difficult-to-reach (with equipment) place, I wouldn't have known they were there at all if I'd have arrived 15 minutes later! Four trees taken care of, chipped, the driveway cleaned up with a leaf blower. And the cost was very competitive. Additional very important information: though quite common, I was not talked down to nor taken advantage of as a widowed, older female. I can't imagine hiring anyone else for my tree work when needed - in an emergency (the first time) or for maintenance to prevent one (this time). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He even helped us apply for the permit, which made the whole process so much easier. We originally thought we only needed two dead trees removed. When he came out to give us a quote, he pointed out a few other trees that looked fine from the outside but actually had cavities inside. We weren't sure at first, but we trusted his expertise -- and thank goodness we did. Once he cut them, we saw insects and worms crawling inside and realized those trees were hollow and would have eventually fallen, potentially damaging our home. He truly knows his craft. His pricing was very fair, especially compared to the other three quotes we received. Not only was he the most reasonably priced, but his knowledge and thoroughness were unmatched. He also made sure his entire crew wore proper safety gear and cleaned up beautifully after the job was done. Highly recommend -- he is the best at what he does!

I told my husband to call Burds due to their reviews and reputation...and WITHIN 45 MINUTES Ryan was on our property meeting with my husband (holy sh*t!). He eyed up the situation and gave us a price & approx. time (within a week or so). It was in our budget and time frame, and we agreed to the estimate. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with the timeline (the winds were CRAZY STRONG) and we had to wait another week - but I rather safety come first - and that is a priority with Burds too. (Since I am in the service industry I know that customers can wig-out about this, we did not, and Burds were MORE THAN accommodating and attentive to our text). 3/27/25 was the day, they said 7:30 a.m. - and they were early (to my delight!) I wasn't able to stay and watch since I had an appointment then work. They were completed roughly at 10:20 a.m. - and everything was cleaned up nicely. When I got home that evening I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about branches falling in my driveway, or this huge tree falling on my house. Ryan and his assistant were professional, pleasant to deal with, and nicely priced for the work that they did. I would definitely refer Burds Tree Service over and over again. You lived up to the well-deserved ratings and exceeded my expectations (which, if you ask my husband, is hard to do - lol) Thank you, thank you, thank you.
