I reluctantly visited Jen's salon last year when visiting Tillamook for a couple of weeks and it was because of their mixed reviews. However, I gave it a shot. I have hard gels over my own nails and a lot of salons try to convince me I have acrylics!! Can't do those--have an allergic reaction every time and I've been screwed in a couple of instances. But last year, when I sat down with Jen and showed her what my gal uses at home and she totally understood I did hard gels, she did an amazing job. I left there one happy soul! That is the reason I did NOT hesitate to go back this year. Once again she did a great job and I left there again one happy person! Jen prides herself on making sure every one is happy and gets what they need to get their nails done. It's family owned and family operated. She admitted that if she hires someone and gets complaints about the job they did, they're done! Really true pride of ownership. Her daughter is a cutie and very sweet as well. As they know, when back in Tillamook again next year, I'll be seeing Jen. read more

If you want just the basics for the process of a full manicure and pedicure, this is for you. I was happy for them to get me in on short notice. I was not happy for the price I paid for mani-pedi, I could do that at home! read more

I received absolutely my worst pedicure ever from Jen's in Tillamook. My appointment was at 1:30 for an acrylic pedicure and I was in my car by 2:15. By 5pm I was back in the salon because 2 nails had popped off, while reading. The redone was awful as well. The acrylic was unnecessarily thick and at an odd angle... Within 12 hours of my appointment 3 more toes had popped off. I've been in contact with the owner. They have absurdly expressed that my nails failing is 100 percent my problem. This is NOT a SAFE business to receive services at. Lastly, a complaint was filed and there is an active case open with the Oregon Department of Health regarding the extreme safety issues happening at this place of business. read more

This was my second visit. I had made an appointment as they were busy. They did seat me fairly quickly, but I was "soaking" for quite awhile before one of the techs gave me my leg massage and warm towel treatment before my pedicure. At least the conversation was interesting. Overall a decent pedicure. read more

I am on vacation here in Tillamook and needed a last minute fill. Fortunately, I was able to get in here right away. The nice lady listened to what I wanted, took time to make sure I was happy all the way through, and actually did a great job! If I lived in the area this would be my new spot. read more

Jens Nails - Yellow French tip acrylic nail fill with custom design - Nail Salons Near Me - Tillamook, Oregon

We are RV traveling and I needed some patriotic nails! I had a pedicure by one gal, it was ok a little short but it wasn't a bad one! The owners husband/wife work their butts off. He waxed my brows and did the best I have ever had! Now to my nails!! The place was very busy and they had a fantastic system where everyone took turns getting nails done. One gal cleaned them up and polished! Then Jen filled them in and decorated them. I am very very happy with them. I wish I could find a salon just as good a long our travels but I'm pretty sure they can't be beat! Thank you Jen and your husband, son and other gal! God Bless read more

Jens Nails - Best nails ever - Nail Salons Near Me - Tillamook, Oregon

This is the worst nail experience I have ever had. I have had many many nail processes over the years. Here's the facts -- 1. Dirty salon 2. Over charges- 52 for a shellac manicure 52 shellac pedicure. 3. Do not soak off shellac, use drill only. Then charge $7 per hands feet. Lazy. I asked her husband about it- "Take too long". 4. Manicure--- just basic, DIDN'T SOAK FINGER NAILS. ??? After I asked the wife, she said that "too expensive"? What- the water?! 6. No massage at all. Either feet or hands - such BS 6. They have a captive audience in Tillamook - and if they are making a grand or two a day ($149 for 2 normal mans, 1 shellac ped, 1 normal ped) they can afford new polishes. Old and they stink--- you know, like when they add chemical in the polish to make old ones last longer. I think this team is taking advantage of the area and overcharging- not too many nail places here. Bottom line- I don't mind paying if the experience and quality is worth it. This place isn't. (For Gawds sake who doesn't soak cuticles before cutting off?!?!) read more

We called ahead to schedule a group of 6. Asked to confirm there were enough chairs for us to all be helped at once and made an appointment. We got there and there were 5 full size chairs and 1 Childs chair. Only 2 people working. They were friendly and got us all in and done pretty quickly. A little too quick. I got no massage at all... others only 1 minute. They're were hopping between us all and I got lotion on one leg only. I got gel and they up charged both to remove the little gel I had left in addition to the customary gel charge I was expecting for the gel polish I requested. read more

Seems as though they have a regular clientele that they take good care of. However, stopped in to get a much needed pedicure on vacation and was not impressed. Very superficial care on my feet, not much more than a new paint job, and almost felt as though I was bothering the lady by just being there. Good for nail art but not much more. read more

Jen's Nails squeezed in me and my mom for appointments on a Saturday morning during the phase one reopening of the State. They were clean, efficient, professional, and polite. My mom and I both received shellac pedicures and manicures behind plexi glass and while wearing masks. They did a great job and have a huge selection of colors. I cannot recommend this place enough! The salon is run by an extraordinary husband and wife team. Thank you Jen's nails! read more

I came to visit my help my grandma pack of her things to join me in a move to california. i currently had longer acrylics on, i was trying to out on my shoes and two nails snapped, i had just got my nails done a week before at a place in california. i came into Jens and picked my colors and was seated almost immediately, she made it very clear from the get go what the price would be, which surprisingly a lot of nail places don't do. She then began on fixing my nails, talking to me, and continuously asking me if i liked the shape, the color, if i wanted anything different, and just made sure i liked what i was paying for. The end result is amazing my nails feel stronger and cleaner! super happy with how my nails look, it i didn't live in california i would make this my go to salon! read more

My boyfriend and I were staying at Rockaway Beach for my birthday and made a trip into town for pedicures. I was there yesterday for a pedicure. It took less than 15 minutes for the shortest pedicure I have ever had. I only got 1 coat of polish as I was told the polish was too thick. I received no help trying to get my sandals back on so I wouldn't smudge the polish. I went there after reading reviews from other people but I just can't recommend this to anyone! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. wish I could give no stars. A person who reacts this badly to being told his service wasn't worth what they were charging is dangerous and should not be a business owner. My nails began falling off only one week after having a full acrylic set done for $64. I called and the lady was so nice she told me I could come in today, 11/20/2021 to have my nails fixed. When arriving, the male present acted as if he was Alfa. I came to get my nails fixed or even a refund, and the guy became so aggressive and agitated when all I was asking is that I would be provided services I previously just paid almost $70 for. I've had my nails done everywhere from Astoria to Tillamook living on the coast, and I can officially say this was the worst service from a customer service and professional or any mental health standpoint. I now have a video of this man yelling at me to get out of the salon after he refused me service for not wanting to fix the horrible service they themselves did just 9 days before. They themselves even promised the nails to last AT LEAST 2-3 weeks knowing mine always last closer to 4. I pay quality price for quality service in return and this place did not provide that and not only did they not fix my nails, but that man continued to verbally and emotionally abuse me in front of other customers and coworkers.I Will never be coming back, and will be seeing them in civil court soon. Hope I never have to experience something as horrible and freightning as this again. Did I mention when having my nails done the first time, 11/11/2021, the lady used kitchen scissors on my nails instead of salon or medical grade equipment and then charged me more for needed to use a filer (again, I've never had to buy my own at a salon, wtf?????) Completely disgusting and unsanitary and overpriced place, should have taken that as my first red flag. I did call the Salon at 1:30 and was told to come in to have them fixed at 4:30. I did not show up unannounced and they knew the service I was showing up for was to have my nails fixed and filled in, which has never been the case for me to need to go back to a salon, especially just a week after having a full set done. I can get my nails done somewhere else, not really what I'm upset about. I just more so fear for others who don't speak up for themselves against a man as cowardly as the one who spoke to me today. Very unimpressed, and as I already stated, I left here fearful and frightened. They also did not agree to fix my nails for free or if discounted charge (which is to be expected when a nails comes off or didn't sit right) but he only continued to say I could pay him to fix the nails and walk out happy or he could kick me out and only until after I mentioned the fact that I was charged a very high rate for a very sloppy service, he proceeded to yell at me to leave. I have video proof of this, and don't need validation from another Yelp reviews comment. Don't agree to do a service if you get offended when I ask for it to be done correctly and then become aggressive with me to the point of kicking me out when I was willing to be a loyal customer. Really disgusting to see others stand up for this business. read more

Very expensive and not a great pedicure. The people are nice and it is clean. However, $50 plus tip for a 15 min pedicure doesn't sit right.

STAY FAR AWAY!! If I could give them a zero, I would. I had a 10am appointment, when they opened. They were late to open the salon with no "I'm sorry", "Good morning", etc. The woman was unfriendly on the phone when I made the appointment. Told me the non-gel manicure would be $25 and bring my own nail file or they would charge me $2 for one! Sat down for manicure at 10:05 and nothing! The woman employee started the manicure next to me and asked "did you bring a buffer"? No one told me about bringing a buffer. Still, the man she came with has disappeared in back, never to come back out. I asked the woman "will he be here soon" and she grumbled and got me a dirty kitchen mixing bowl with water/suds. I looked around the salon - dirty, hair on floor, dirty station, manicure tools not in sanitary solution, etc. I told them I was done and walked out. The man came out and called me "fat asshole" and shooed me out of the store. No problem - I was already gone. Not many options in Tillamook, but save your $25 and never enter this pitiful business. Rude, rude, rude and shady! read more

These folks were fine. Nothing special. We had a reservation for 5 people at 11:30 on a saturday morning. The reservation was made days in advance so we believed there would be more than two employees in the store at once to take care of our nails. Unfortunately this was not the case. The two employees that were there did an acceptable job. the chairs were comfortable (for pedicures), but that's as far as the pampering went. The pedicures were very fast and basic. The manicures were the same. The shellac manicure took less than 20 minutes, did not truly include a massage, but the polish has held up well. Bottom line, this place is fine if you are really just looking for someone to clean up your nails and get you out the door quickly. But if you are in search of something more relaxing and spa-esque, then I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Jens Nails - My designed and painted toes - Nail Salons Near Me - Tillamook, Oregon

Excellent! I recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a good nail salon. I tried everyone in Tillamook... Jen's Nails was the only one left to try. I'm very picky about my nails and the other places I tried in town I ended up coming home and reshaping them because they weren't done properly. Jen's nails did them perfectly! Perfect thickness and shape. They offered every option you can imagine. They may be a little bit higher in price than another salon but you definitely get what you pay for here. I would highly recommend them. Don't waste your time trying any other salon in the area. read more

This was the worst manicure I've ever received, AND, the most expensive. After four days, half of my nails were chipped or cracked. I work a desk job, and don't put a lot of stress on my nails. With my lifestyle, a gel manicure should last two to three weeks. This has been the case with all of the gel manicures I've received at my usual salon. I have chipped or broken a nail every day since this manicure at Jen's. Awful! To top it off, I never received a hand or arm massage after the manicure. The total cost was over $40 (excluding the tip). I will not return to this salon again and would never recommend it to anyone. read more

As an RV traveler, I look for a place to maintain my nails and toes every 2-3 weeks. I admit that I am fussy and am not happy when my I am nicked by carelessness and make it clear that any tip is in direct proportion to the care I receive. I have been to Jens Nails twice now without prior appointment and both times I was accommodated with a bit of a wait which I do not mind at all. They are EXCELLENT, a hubby and wife team with support staff. All are pleasant without being overbearing and the salon is very clean. I get to the area twice each year and always make them a top...even if I am a week early or late...they are worth it! read more

This was a huge disappointment. I made an appointment as required. The woman on the phone made my appointment for 3:30. I was an hour away when I called. I arrived, the woman said "pick your color". No hello, nothing. She repeated, "pick your color". I did. I waited. She said,"he is running water" and motioned to the guy at the first chair. Rude to say the least. I sat down and put my feet in the water. I was there 20 min. Shortest, weakest lamest pedicure I have ever received. The entire time the man and and woman were conversing in their native language. When finished slapping in some nail color, he motioned me under the dryer. The woman comes up behind me and says, " you pay with cash or card." I told her card. She took my credit card and told me that they usually close at 3 on Sat. I'm thinking then why did you give me a 3:30 appt.? No tip was necessary, obviously. If you appreciate being treated with total disrespect, this is the place for you. Seriously worst pedicure experience I have ever had. read more

HORRIBLE. I was told a pedicure costs $25 and a pedicure with a "longer" massage costs $35. I was excited for the so called "longer" massage so I decided to go with that one. The owner (lady) was the one who did my pedicure and was SUPER rushed. Literally only spent about 1 minute massaging my legs. Barley scrubbed the bottom of my feet- did about 2 strokes and looked at me and said "there's not a lot" but after she was done with my pedicure I still had a TON of dead skin. The entire pedicure was only 10 minutes long.... I questioned her when she was trying to charge me the $35 because how was that even close to a "longer" massage?? Never coming back again. read more

Jens Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Tillamook, Oregon

I went to this salon a few years ago and hopefully their customer service has improved. I went in for acrylic nail, not something that I do often at all because I have soft nails and did not like the way they looked on the first hand that they did and this is prior to them finishing the nail with acrylic. What they decided to do was trim my nails all the way down before adding the fake nail. I have never had that done before and thought it was odd. I asked why and they kind of said that it was for the look of my nail but really they cut down my nails in order for me to rely on acrylic ones. They ended up getting mad at me as the customer instead of listening to what I wanted. read more
