It was the first time I ever used a mobile notary and was not sure what to expect. I was delighted to meet Ms. Martinez who immediately put both me and my uncle at ease. I was not only impressed with her extensive knowledge of eldercare law and the degree of her professionalism, but I also admired her genuine respect and care for the elderly, for her great patience and integrity. She took the time to explain all of the paperwork to my uncle, answered his questions and made sure that he was comfortable with the documents and the process. I found her to be very experienced and well-informed about legal issues and she combines her knowledge with the ability to explain and clarify these issues to others in a clear and lucid manner. She is so much more than the ordinary notary public. i am happy to learn that she also offers consulting services in business and financial matters. Although I have never used these services, she seems to be well-suited to help people understand their situations and to explain to them their options.

I regret having hired Robin A. Lewis and cannot recommend her. I found her to be very territorial…read moreover my case, and at the same time apathetic to my concerns. I hired this attorney for a time-sensitive matter, expecting professionalism, clear communication, and strategic action. Instead, she failed to handle even the most basic aspects of my case, and I ended up paying for some charges I wasn't even responsible for (despite requesting clarification as to my obligations). I also believe I was locked into a position that was not in my best interest. I did not become aware that I had an alternative option until I retained new counsel, but by then it was way too late to change course. At a certain point, another attorney placed my confidential information on the public record. I contacted Robin Lewis to assist, and she did not get back to me for several weeks. When she finally called, she spent some time talking about irrelevant things, and ultimately she simply told me to consult with someone else. Although I resolved the issue on my own, she still billed me hundreds of dollars for her 'expertise.' In retrospect, I found this inaction confusing especially when I consider her reaction to simply being named as my lawyer on legal papers. She freaked out and actually contacted the other side to have her name removed (and billed me for this too). I found that very strange. I don't understand it. After my confidential info was leaked, I fired Ms. Lewis. I then emailed her for clarification as to what she had done for me and what her strategy had been, but she offered no response beyond a directive to *call* her. She also called my mom (who was never her client) to complain about my emails, and at one point threatened legal action. The guy who referred me to her also spoke to my job about my complaint against Ms. Lewis. This upset and annoyed me, especially as I have no way of knowing how many people were on that call. I appealed to a higher authority for a written response from Robin Lewis, but it came too late to be of any use, and ultimately raised more questions than it answered. I feel bitterly dissatisfied by the whole representation and I wish I had never as much as contacted this attorney.
