I have seen Dr. Christen give his clients (including me) his full attention for as long was needed for her to feel that she understood what was being suggested, that she'd had her questions answered fully, and that she was choosing for herself, rather than being ushered into a decision she wasn't behind, and didn't fully understand. There was a long wait to get an appointment, and the staff wasn't the most professional or friendly. It was hard to even reach someone. I waited for my appointment, and ended up having to call in to reschedule. When I called to reschedule my upcoming appointment, the receptionist had 'no record' of my appointment. I guess they didn't successfully schedule it or mark it down. This was discouraging and disheartening, but we went ahead and rescheduled and I waited the long wait to the next appointment. When it was almost to my appointment day, the office called me to let me know that I could no longer be a patient there because I was a 'no call, no show.' Without speaking with me, they cancelled the long awaited appointment (at this point it had been almost three months just trying to get in to see Dr. Niran). I called in to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Explaining that I wasn't a no call, no show. Perhaps the office staff didn't see the originally scheduled appointment, but it was somehow successfully scheduled somewhere--and then when I didn't show up for the appointment (they said they didn't even have on their books), I was marked a no call no show? I'm not sure what happened on their end, but I am very responsible and communicative. Whenever I do need to reschedule, I call in advance. The receptionist just went on to lecture me about why the policy is important. I'm like "I agree, but I didn't not call and just not show up and you said I didn't even have an appointment. How could I even be absent for an appointment that, the last time I called in, you told me you didn't have scheduled. They are all over the place over there, and I was losing patience. They said in about a week they could get back with me about if I would be able to be seen as a patient. I told them there really must've been some sort of mistake. I did not earn the 'no call, no show' punishment. They called today saying that we would not be able to be seen because I 'missed an appointment.' There was no understanding or hearing me that it was a clerical error on their office's part and I got falsely accused and kicked out for their mistake. I'm just trying to take care of my daughter. I've already waited three months to see Dr. Niran Al-Agba. Now I guess I have to start from scratch. My child is now going to be due for her 15 month appointment. 've completely missed the milestone 12 month exam. I waited and waited for my Silverdale Pediatrics' appointment, nervous about her going without a check-up for months. Now I'll probably have to wait again to have her seen by another new Doctor elsewhere. They could've at least kicked us out right after the supposed no call no show, rather than making me wait a month just to tell me days before my long-awaited appointment. I filled out the 20 page documentation to be seen by the Physician Assistant - waited a few days and received a cold voicemail from the front desk stating that because of my health, the PA would not accept me as a new patient, although their website offered as this provider being the only one who was accepting patients over 5. If you need care, stay away from this clinic. I didn't realize providers who accepted new patients screened out those whom they took an oath to help.

Well, sir, it happened here. A dermotologist had recommended I see Dr. Sarah Neitzel for podiatric care and I had my PCP send a referral to her. When the office called to schedule an appointment I was told I'd be seeing her partner, Dr. Jarod Spencer instead. I agreed to the change. This is why it always pays to be open-minded. The office visit with Dr. Spencer was superb. Very friendly guy with an easy manner who really knows his stuff. We talked about the foot thing I had an issue with a slightly-regrown ingrown toe nail He gave me several options including two options for cutting the nail thing out. We agreed I'd try the options and then follow up in a couple of months. Have you ever been given new info and felt your brain expand with that new knowledge? Only me, huh? Well then, OK, let's continue. Anyway, my brain expanded after absorbing that new information. But THE best thing about my appointment with Dr. Spencer? Not once did he leave the exam room to check on other patients waiting in other exam rooms. I've gone to two single doctor podiatry practices where the one guy would be bopping back and forth between several rooms. So not only are you waiting for the guy to come back and finish whatever he started, you worry and hope that the guy remembers who YOU are and what your situation is and doesn't confuse you with another patient. I've had a past podiatrist say to me upon his return to the room, "OK, where were we? Oh yes..." Those guys are hyped up to begin with because they have to be in order retain sufficient energy (and hopefully mental focus) throughout the day--every day. Dr. Spencer was calm, friendly and professional. He was at ease which put me at ease--and this was our first visit. So, from now on, he's my guy. And since I've got various foot issues, it's comforting to know I found a great podiatrist I can trust, and well deserves this five-star rating.

While I dread the inevitable PAP smear, I'd totally deal with a little bit of discomfort to make sure my lady-parts are working like they should. I had visited their clinic last year, had my physical and the year mark was coming up so I thought I'd set the appointment early before my children's summer activities kicked into gear. I spoke with an older lady on the phone, asked to set an appointment for my yearly physical and asked what times were available, preferrably as soon as she can get me in. She told me the soonest appointment she can set for my physical was Thursday at 8:30am. I asked if there was anything else closer to the end of the business day and unfortunately, no there isn't. Great. I asked if there was anything available closer to the lunch hour and she said Friday at 11:30am. She asked me if I wanted to set the physical for that date/time but I told her I needed to check with my job first to make sure I had some time off for it. I told her I'd call back tomorrow to set the appointment, asked for her direct line and she told me anyone would be able to set the appointment for me. I called back today (Thursday), after getting the thumbs up from work to set the appointment. I get this snide receptionist who says there isn't an opening on Friday at 11:30am. I tell her about my situation, how I spoke with some older lady yesterday and she gave me available appointments for the physical, etc. She scoffs and says "sorry no, there aren't any physicals available at that time". OK! So.. Long story short, we had a circular conversation about what I was told when I called in yesterday and how it wasn't her problem that I was told that since SHE didn't tell me that information herself. She asked me who I spoke to and I told her I never got the lady's name because I didn't think I'd have to defend myself and the information I was given the following day. The best part? I asked her to find out who I spoke with so she said she'd ask around. She put me on hold for a few minutes, came back on the line and said "sorry you misunderstood the information that was given to you". Excuse me? She goes on to say that the lady I spoke to said there was an "opening" for Friday at 11:30am but it wasn't an opening for a PHYSICAL... So let me get this straight, I ask to set an appointment for a physical, I am given the dates and times for supposed available appointments for a physical and the following day I'm told that the date/time given was an "opening", but not an "opening" for a physical? What good would that appointment be to me? I mean, seriously. A little common sense here. I'm pretty sure people who call to set an appointment for a physical expect to be given available appointment times for....A PHYSICAL! I am VERY disappointed with the way the situation turned out. It doesn't take rocket science to see how ridiculous this whole scenario was. Given the lack of knowledge and common sense, she could have at least offered to work with me to set another appointment or at the VERY least own up to THEIR mistake instead of pointing the finger at me and saying "I misunderstood". Like I said, the doctors here are nice enough, but they should really consider re-training or re-hiring some competent and friendly people at the front desk. These are the faces and personalities who deal with the doctors' patients day-in and day-out. It's poor practice to have a horrible conversation with a patient then try to interject with a "well you NEED to be seen anyway so you'll NEED to set an appointment for your physical." While I may "need" to be seen by a doctor for my yearly check-up, I certainly do not "NEED" to do that with your clinic.
