And what I found was so much more. I found someone who truly cares for me and has become more than just my trainer she is a great friend. Aside from all of the amazing qualities I could describe of Laurie and fit 2 go, the one piece that outshines everything is the amount of care she puts into everything she does. For the health and fitness industry this quality is essential. She is genuine in her want to help individual's move towards a better quality of life. I went through a range of goals and wants but laurie always prioritized my health over everything else. While under Laurie's coaching she taught me how to grow and adapt to not only become a healthier person but also a better human. She knows how to "SPEAK ENGLISH" and has been working with the elderly without any problems communicating. At-home caregiver staff even asked her to rate her English from 1-10. This is disrespectful. The staff assumed that my sister could not speak english basing on her accent. After the phone interview, my sister felt down and discourage because of this. Please don't apply to this agency. There's a lot of agencies who are respectful, and knowledgeable to help applicants, and clients. So unprofessional and bias. #racist #discrimination.

Since then there have been times when staff has had to be replaced either due to my aunt becoming moody with them or the caregivers situations changed - the management made it a priority to get suitable replacement staff quickly. Having been diagnosed with Ovarian Cysts in 2007 and having tried various birth controls to try to…read moregain control over the issue I just decided to deal with the pain. 2014 I ended up in my doctors office in tons of pain- she referred me to go to the ER and would send a referral to a specalist. Cysts was as large as my ovary that was rupturing. Nothing life threatening. During the 7 years I had quite a few miscarriages and had been coming to terms with I won't be a woman who will give birth. My first appointment with Dr. Pride, he listened. Not just nodded his head listened- he asked questions about the different birth controls I had tried previously. Asked what side effects I experienced. He heard me when I said I need something better than just dealing with it. He asked me to give a low dose pill a try. I did not like the side effects at all and we discussed the Skyla IUD. Quick office visit and it was in place April 2015. End of October 2015 I was able to feel more of the implant than I should, The urgent care could not readjust the implant. They had messed with it enough to cause a ton of pain- I did not sleep that night. I drove to the Emergency room and asked that it be removed. I was assisted by family to get to Dr Pride's office where his assistant made the accommodation to see me briefly and then pulled him aside. He had a quick chat with me about setting up a pre-op appointment for a hysterectomy. The appointment he went over everything- he was compassionate towards my reason why of not wanting to be in pain and not feeling healthy having to constantly take Advil to help ease it if at all. My health and acid re-flux were not getting better. We scheduled the appointment for a week later. Insurance approved. He let me know that I did have signs of Adenomysis an ugly sibling of Endometriosis. If it was on my tubes and ovaries I would wake up with an incision across my lower stomach. Thankfully I woke up to 4 little incisions- indicating I still had my ovaries. The follow up appointment he confirmed that yes It was time for me to have the surgery because it was only going to get worse. I am so thankful even almost 3 years later for him being the one who listened. I have told friends who have stated they are having lady issues to give his office a call to see if they can be seen by him.

Last year, I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Lowy. It was a gross oversight on his part, and I don't think…read morehe is fit to practice medicine. I had just returned from vacationing with my boyfriend and a couple of days later my back (around the kidneys) began to hurt so badly that I could hardly move. I went to see Dr. Lowy and told him of the pain. I also told him that it felt a little funny when I urinated. He diagnosed me with pancreatitis (a condition that I was told later by TWO other doctors that no one in their right mind would be the first diagnosis for an otherwise healthy person). After ordering that I get some blood work done, he analyzed it and told me that I wouldn't feel well for a couple of weeks, and to stay in bed. He told me not to take any aspirin or other pain killers as they would exacerbate my condition. After staying in bed without any pain killers for the two most painful weeks of my life, I finally gave up and had to go to the emergency room because my pain was excruciating and I had a temperature of 106 degrees. The emergency room doctor was able to diagnose me right away with a kidney infection, put me on antibiotics and send me on my way. The ER doctor told me that when I came back from my vacation I probably had a urinary tract infection (much more likely for a healthy young woman who just got back from a vacation with her boyfriend) that went untreated and spread to my kidneys. This UTI could have easily been caught by a simple urinalysis, which Dr. Lowy failed to give me. He did not listen when I told him that my kidneys were hurting. I am now paying off a $6000 emergency room bill for a simple UTI that went wrong because of this man. Do not go see him for any reason! You are likely to end up sicker than when you went in.
