The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. We would recommend KBR for any project that you might have. Karen was great to work with and even when we were not following through with things on our end, she never lost her cool with us and was very patient waiting for us to come to decisions on things. NOT SEASONED. Called store and guy gave me crap about wood was stored out side. I stacked and stored in my garage for two weeks. Moisture content was still in high 40%.. Just because they leave wood outside for a couple of months does NOT mean it is seasoned. PAID a lot of money for wood I cant us till next YEAR. Will NEVER go to or buy from them Again. wood from a swamp burns better. Have to load with card board and pieces of 2x4s to keep burning. Save your money wood is crap!! People don't want to help you either. Home depot on a Sunday gives better help.

So, since our house needed to be painted, we decided to give the contract to them to paint the exterior of our 1927 home which has a lot of trim work, railings, finials, etc. Another great job completed on schedule and within budget. We even had them do a few extra fixes to long-standing problems other contractors either created or never fixed properly like a bathroom vent, etc. We've worked with lots of contractors for small jobs to entire "gut rehabs" and more important than price (though they are very competitive), Matt and his team are honest, attentive, and committed to ensuring your job is done properly and with integrity - not common among the contractors we've worked with over the years. Because this company does excellent work, and so for quality of work I would give them 5 stars, but their fees are very high, hence the 3-star rating, so I would advise anyone to give R & R your business, but make sure to get several estimates from other licensed and insured contractors first. For example, several years ago they gave me a quote for a small job of $475 labor and $97 materials, but I found someone else, licensed and insured, who completed the job for $22 in materials and under $100 in labor. It took him about an hour to complete the job.
