It was such a risk cutting my hair the day before my wedding by someone who had never touched my hair before. Shai quickly put me at ease. SHE IS INCREDIBLE. She listened to what I wanted, assessed my hair and was very clear in what she recommended. She gave me the most incredible haircut. I'm known to go quite a while between haircuts, so I tend to end up cutting off more length than I originally intended. This time, I'm growing my hair out and wanted to keep more of the length while still having a beautiful shape. Yvette understood exactly what I was looking for, and she absolutely killed it! My hair looks so pretty, feels light and fresh, and is exactly what I wanted. Yvette is sweet, personable, and really listens to what you want. She's receptive to inspiration photos, communicates well, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. The shampoo experience is also wonderful and so relaxing! I find this really irresponsible, especially when I'm paying $100+ for a haircut that already takes at least 1.5 hours. I don't mind the length of the appointment at all when it starts on time, but the additional wait makes it difficult to plan anything around it. I'm always stressed because I either need to be somewhere afterward or I'm coming in after work, and he's regularly not ready until at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I think my last appointment was the final straw for me. I had enough time to take myself out for brunch and even do a little shopping at Pacific Commons, and he was still an hour late.
