WOW, finally, this is unbelievable. Here's my story. I have had my home on the market for 2 years with 4 different realtors, each of them getting a chance to sell my home and never received an offer. Now mind you, I interviewed all these fantastic people personally and as soon as I signed the agreement, poof, my listing was yesterday's news. You see, I do not live in the Humble area any longer. My spouse was relocated to Colorado, so we are trying to sell our home without being around to see what's happening. My son, who lives in Huntsville offered to go see the house and see what was happening. He has done this for us over the past 2 years several times (he still has friends in Humble) and each time it was the same story...doors unlocked, lights remained on in closets and bedroom, toilets that had not been flushed, bugs on the floors and in the closets, light bulbs that were burnt out and a leak in the laundry room ceiling. OK, I'm sorry, all this is supposed to be acceptable when I'm paying you a 6% commission? Oh, So I'm supposed to say thank you by giving you $50K for doing what? Really................... Then finally someone came along who snagged the first offer I receive on my house after 2 years. THANK YOU, Jena Turner, Intero Real Estate Services, Heights. Her assistant Robyn who handles her properties north of the 610 loop up to New Caney was always at the house. Making sure the showings went smoothly, that the home did not have critters running around or belly flopped on the floor, toilets sparkling, light bulbs replaced when they burnt out. Get this, when things broke, she either fixes them herself (Wow Wow) or calls me and tells me what happened, who she called to fix the issue and the price for the repair. Where did these people come from? I'm, telling you, what you really expect from an Agent happened with this one. So, I'm old school and I hate writing reviews, but I'm also aggravated with realtors that make promises and do nothing to sell my home except to wait for an offer. Someone pinch me please, I must be dreaming. We were now scheduled to close on October 31 and really closed on November 1. House is gone, I'm a free person. No taxes to pay...woohoo !!!!! One more thing - ever sign a contract with a realtor then say, I'm glad I only have 5 more months left with this one! Jena/Robyn won't list your home for more than 3 months because she tells me if I can't sell your home in three months, then I'm doing something wrong. She also staged the home with virtual furniture which looks fab! (I had moved all my stuff to Colorado) Better than seeing empty rooms on line, right. I found out on very short notice that I would be moving to Houston. I had originally gone to the Yelp site for help to look @ its ratings for apartments & condos for lease in the Galleria area. I will be a a full time commuter, in Houston 4 days each week, & so @ times my family will be shuttling back & forth with me. The number of potential choices was overwhelming. While searching on yelp I stumbled across the real estate agent rental filter & thank goodness I did. Jena had 5 reviews on yelp, all 5 stars, & feedback that almost seemed to good to be true. I contacted Jena on a Sunday afternoon & she very promptly responded to my voicemail to begin the process of figuring out what was most important for our family's rental needs. Over the next couple of days of working with Jena we realized our most important criteria was safety & convenience to work. I had less than 1 day to make our choice & so the quick & detailed previewing work that Jena did based on what was most important helped to reduce or anxiety regarding the move. We set an appointment & blocked out 1/2 day for property visits. After starting with a couple dozen choices we had narrowed the on sites to 5. It was obvious Jena had done her homework on each site since she would discuss information about the property while in route. We picked one property as our top choice but Jena said after getting an even better feel for our needs she would go back & search for more choices. The next morning Jena had identified 2 more properties to check out. I was convinced we had already found our perfect fit but given Jena's effort I decided to view the last two. Guess what? The place we ended up with was visited on that last day. Given my time constraints I am confident that I would have never ended up with the property that perfectly fit my family's needs. Jena Turner may be the best Realtor in the U.S. I moved here from Ft Worth, TX about 4 months ago. I did some searching for smaller realty companies that specialized in purchasing in the Heights and came across Habitation Realty. I wanted a home in the Heights, so I was referred to Jena Turner. Words cannot express how helpful and delightful the whole experience has been. On day one when I arrived in the office, we decided to drive around the neighborhoods to get a feel for the surroundings. Once I decided where I wanted to be, Jena worked with me and updated me and was extremely responsive at all times. If I texted, or emailed, or called, she either picked up the phone and responded immediately or called back within the hour. I have never had a Realtor who was so dedicated to my cause. We searched and she listened to me and was able to show me exactly what I wanted in a new home. We put offers in on a few homes and were unsuccessful but she did not give up. I met Jena at a mutual friends birthday party and instantly hit it off with her! She knew so much about the inner loop area and at the time I had been thinking about selling my home in Katy to move closer to the city where all the action takes place. I found Jena a few weeks later through her business Facebook page and within a few hours of sending her a email we had scheduled to have lunch and talk about my plans to sell my previous home and what I was looking for in a new home. She listed my property and within 12 days I was under contract for a sales price much higher than I thought possible on my little "starter" home. My roommate and I were looking to move to the downtown Houston area and we happened to find Jena through a listing we found online. We originally were wanting to find a small house but there just weren't that many properties available. We had a very short time frame to find something and happened to be out of town shortly before we moved and Jena took care of submitting our application to any properties that looked like they might be possibilities. When my wife and I recently moved from Austin to Houston, we were looking for a rental home. We were incredibly lucky to find Jena. We first met her when she showed us a house we requested to see. She was representing Habitation Realty -- the company that listed the home. We did not end up renting the home that Jena first showed us, but liked her so much, we decided to keep in touch and do another round of viewings. I recently sold my home in the suburbs with hopes of moving into town. Jena came over to tour the property. She did a comparables analysis, suggested a sales price/strategy, and she gave excellent advise on how to do small things in order to attract more buyers. I arranged for these small changes (i.e. change some room's paint colors, reorganize furniture, clear some clutter, etc) and she promptly arranged for absolutely stunning professional photographs to be taken of the property. The following day the property was up on MLS, HAR, and all kinds of online websites. She also signed me up for the text-message showing service. Within four days the house was under option for nearly full price. She arranged everything with the purchasing agent swiftly and professionally and kept nearly constant contact with all parties. Jena helped us find our amazing home in the Houston Heights. We were first time home buyers and Jena always had or would find the answers to our questions.
