We initially enrolled our oldest in a school with over 30 years of community presence, but it was a terrible experience. We pulled her out and managed without daycare for a while. By 2022, we felt she needed socialization, so we toured four different daycares. The moment we walked into Coral Reef Academy, we knew this was the one. The past 2.5 years have been nothing short of amazing. Every teacher at Coral Reef Academy is dedicated to creating a loving, safe, and nurturing environment. The administration has been outstanding. Our kids have experienced developmental milestones, from dealing with friends biting and challenging potty training to learning kindness and sharing. The teachers and administration have supported us through it all. We've experienced care across almost all age groups, from 1's to 4's. The kids learn essential skills like eating in a cafeteria, sharing, resolving conflicts, understanding emotions, and just being kids, all under the watchful and trustworthy eye of the staff. Communication is excellent through an app, and secure access with a code allows parents to enter as needed. The playgrounds are safe and clean, with staff ensuring proper hydration and monitoring the weather for excessive heat and storms. They celebrate various events like fall festivals, Thanksgiving lunch, Grandparents Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Scholastic Book Fair, Dr. Seuss Week, and bring in companies like Soccer Shots and Dancing Little Stars for extracurricular activities. We are moving, and unfortunately, their locations are too far for our schedule. We are deeply saddened that our girls will not graduate VPK here or continue with after-school or summer care at Coral Reef Academy. We hope that whoever takes our spot will see how amazing these teachers are and how much they love your kids. Your money will be well spent at one of the best daycares around.

I met both of the owners within the first week of him starting. They own two centers one on stack Boulevard and one on NASA Boulevard. I chose the one on NASA Boulevard because it's closer to my job. I absolutely love the school. The curriculum is awesome. It's always clean. But more importantly you can tell that the owners and the staff truly care about what they do on a daily basis. They're always there, They always look neat, they know everyone by name! And I do mean everyone. Ohhh and they're culturally inclusive! Which is a rare find in Palm Bay !!! The school is clean and nicely decorated with age appropriate materials; they have 2 playgrounds. The kids are always doing art projects, working on their tracing, letters etc. The teachers are all so very nice and easy to approach. My daughter is learning to play with others, sing songs, develop language. She's even become a better eater since starting here. My son will be well prepared for Kindergarten next year. I am writing as a concerned parent of a child with special needs to share my experience with this…read morechildcare facility so that other families can make informed decisions. My child has developmental needs that require patience, understanding, and appropriate support. Prior to enrollment, I communicated these needs to the facility and was given the impression that they would be accommodated. However, my experience after enrollment was very different from what had been discussed. During our time at the center, I became increasingly concerned about how my child was perceived and treated. At one point, I was informed that the facility primarily serves what was described to me as "normal" children, and it was suggested that my child was not an appropriate fit for their program. Ultimately, my child was dismissed from the facility. I want to emphasize that, in my observation, my child did not pose a threat to staff, other children, or himself. His behaviors are related to communication challenges, and he is able to respond positively to redirection when handled with care and consistency. I found the overall interaction with management to be unprofessional and, at times, dismissive of my child's needs. As a parent, this experience was both discouraging and deeply concerning. I am sharing this so that other parents of children with special needs are aware and can carefully evaluate whether this environment will be supportive and inclusive for their child. Every child deserves understanding, respect, and equal access to care, regardless of their abilities.

My daughter started in the toddler classroom at Goddard school Viera in August when the school…read moreopened. I love how clean the school is and the app they use to keep parents informed of the child's day and the schedule. The playground is nice and the teachers were super sweet and loving towards my daughter. With that being said, I do have a huge issue with their biting policy. In a course of less than 5 weeks my child was bitten 4 times (2 times in 1 morning) . My child has never bitten a child and 3 of these bites were unprovoked and one she was reaching for another child's snack. According to their policy they are not able to tell me if the same child bit her . After the second bite, I had a conversation with the front desk staff about what steps are being taken to help address the situation. I was given the generic " it's part of that ages behavior " and the bitters parents are aware of the situation. There are " behavior action plans in place". No specific details given to me at this time. After the 3rd and 4th bite I learned more information about the action plan and that provoked or unprovoked biting didn't have any different consequences. There is not a certain number of bites that would unenroll a child, they will just work on adjusting the biters behavior. I find this highly unacceptable. They keep it so hush hush that I have no idea how many times the bitter has bitten other kids. It could be 10 times and they are still in the classroom. Now ask yourself if you, as a parent, feel comfortable dropping your kid off with a child that is known to have bitten multiple kids for no reason. In their policy it says they will have a one on one person with the child to watch them and correct the behavior and this has not been done. I find the way that the administrators are handling this is unacceptable and negligent. I called corporate and was told that each school makes their own rules when it comes to biting. Goddard, you have much room for improvement to keep kids safe. Due to the unsafe environment I was forced to pull my child from school and find another daycare while the bitter or bitters stay in the school hurting other children. DO BETTER!
