In the last three years, my husband and I have moved 3 times, using several different companies. We have been most impressed with Jega movers. Before this move, we called multiple companies. This one really stuck out to us because the owner was kind and confident, and there didn't appear to be any hidden fees, nor did he try to overcharge. The crew was 10 minute late, and when they arrived, they confirmed the start time was 8:10. They did not charge for time they did not work. I pointed out a couple of important pieces to me (my upright piano and my grandmother's cabinet). They reassured me they would wrap everything. And they did! They wrapped it in blankets and wrap. They even lifted the piano with their own strength! Usually movers have to use dolly's. I wish I had gotten their names to shout them out. We were impressed with this company from start to finish. JEGA Movers are awesome and have exceptional customer service. I am so happy I selected them for my mother's (a senior citizen) out-of-state move from South Carolina to Georgia. James told me that his goal was to make my mother's move as easy and stress free as possible... that is exactly what he did! Their amazing customer service started with the owner contacting me after I requested a moving quote online. I liked that their website allowed you to enter details like destination and items being moved. James, the owner, contacted me a few hours after I submitted the quote. He took time to understand the move, which I was coordinating from Georgia, to give me a quote. I shared some of the other quotes I received and how the move date was flexible, he adjusted the quote to get my business! I loved that everything was electronic! Receiving my quotes and signing the agreement. Even payment when they arrived to Georgia was electronic. It was so easy and simple. He followed up with me twice before the move to ensure the date and time still worked. Each time asking was there anything they could do to help us. The day of the move the team arrived ready on time and introduced themselves then got to work. They worked efficiently, but safely and took care of my mother's items. They continued to communicate throughout the process, even while enroute to Georgia. When they arrived, they continued their awesome customer service and communication. I called on a Saturday to get items moved from my home to office. By Sunday afternoon my items are moved and I'm settling in. Phenomenal customer service, reliable and professional. This company lacks professionalism as evidenced in the illiterate response comments left by the owner James. He can only be described as a liar and scammer. His fly by night crew is untrained and will damage your property. They lack care and consideration for your items. These guys (workers) were very polite but that is just not enough when comes to one's valuables. My items were damaged and will require repair (if possible) to return them to their prior like new state. Be warned... what seems like a deal is not always such. This move, with repairs, will now cost me far more than a professional company's moving charges. If only I could get a do over... please don't make the same mistake. read more

On Friday, May 13th, my movers showed up 10 minutes late. THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL FROM THE START! Cussing and being rude. One of the movers said they weren't moving my washing machine because it was too heavy. Sir, y'all are movers. Nonetheless, they moved it anyway. While I was on my way from my old place to the new place, my mover sent me a text message asking me to fulfill my payment before unloading to the new place but when I called to book, the receptionist told me not to pay until everything was moved in full. So, I tried to call the office but every time I called, the movers picked up. "Ain't nobody in the office. I have the line." Even though I didn't want to, I went ahead and paid so that I wouldn't have an issue once they got to my new apartment. Upon arriving, I was greeted my a Richland County Deputy. My movers called the police on me for a reason still unknown. Supposedly, he didn't want to have an issue while completing. I NEVER THREATENED HIM OR SAID I WASNT GOING TO PAY. It was completely embarrassing and it's a shame that people have to deal with stuff like that after spending so much money trying to support people! On top of it all, they damaged my walls. I've been trying to contact someone but I can't get an answer. They'll be hearing from my lawyer soon. read more

This was the most ghetto moving company I ever worked with. James voided his own contract when he decided not to put items back together that they took apart. It statea in his contact that he covered reassembling he didn't put anything back together only 1 bed, he was very rude when I asked him no to fix this matter. He wouldn't even speak to me. He also staTed his employe took my items apart and insisted he isn't responsible, the most ghetto bullshit I ever seen. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. This is the worst company I have ever had they smelled like weed and cigarettes and they broke 3 pieces of my furniture a 2,000 dollar mirror and 2 other objects.
