Based off of my experience, i requested roadside assistance through my insurance. I was vey flexible with timing until timing started becoming more delayed affecting my workday. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this towing company. I placed the tow order at 1:30 PM and was told they'd arrive by 3:30 PM. When they still hadn't shown up by 4:45 PM, I called for an update. The person answering was immediately rude and dismissive. When I asked for an ETA, he cut me off mid-sentence and threw out a vague "about an hour" just to brush me off, without actually confirming anything. After that call, they started ignoring my number entirely. When I called again at 5:15 PM, they wouldn't answer. I had to use No Caller ID just to get through--completely unprofessional. When they finally picked up, the same person answered with an even worse attitude. As I explained that I was on a college campus and the driver might have trouble finding me, he cut me off mid-sentence with a dismissive, "he has your number." When I calmly asked him not to interrupt me, he mockingly replied, "I will cut you off as much as I want to," then hung up with a "bye." I waited 2 more hours and decided to cancel and have my uncle look at it in the morning. No car assistance is worth such disrespect. Not only was the company two hours late with no updates, but their customer service was outright hostile. Being treated with such disrespect and disregard made my car issues 10x worse. My roadside assistance assigned this company at 7:30 in the morning as I submit this review it is 1:30pm. We had to call to request a new company. We were told pick-up between 9:00 and 9:30. At 10:30 we were still waiting and called the tow company directly, they called back at 11 saying they were on the way. At 1:00 I called Verizon to ask what was going on, there had not been a update to the link provided. Verizon reached and the driver told them that the police had stopped them and told them to help a car stuck in the highway and they could not refuse a directive from an officer. This sounds suspect and I really don't believe it. I did advise Verizon that they had terrible reviews on yelp and they are all descriptions of the same behavior. read more

My family and I were broke down in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar place. Jeff showed up promptly and went way beyond the call of duty. He and his wife made sure my family and I were safe. Requested A Tow Around 12pm, they kept changing the ETA, first they said he'll be there in an hour , after that time passes I understand there may be a few delays, but to keep pushing back the ETA Until 430 is insane business practice, don't accept a job if you can't provide the service. I ran out of gas so I called my roadside assistance carrier and asked could they help.Sure we can they recommended Jeff's Classic Towing out of Kernersville NC around 35 miles away from my location which I found very strange to start with.I stated to the agent several times my issue was simply out of gas at least 4 times.She comes back and says they will be there in 60 to 90 minutes around 85 minutes later she texts me that it will be around 45 more minutes added to the previous 90 minute estament.Finally after 2 hours and 17 minutes a guy arrives to change my flat tire, I say your joking right gets his little thing out again and says yep flat tire .I say we'll I am out of gas I have no flat tire well can you get some gas from off your tow truck and help me out.He simply says I don't have any gas for you I say well can you go get a gallon of gas for me and he gets really rude stating that he cannot do that I am more or less here for a flat tire refuses to get me any gas does not offer to take me to get any gas more or less just tells me I am on my own I ask him if I give him my tool bag and tools will he go get me a gallon of gas.He says he cannot do this against company policy but he does call the owner finally who tells this poor excuse of a human to tell me keep my tools and walk somewhere towards a gas station and hope to sell them there leaving me around 930 pm in 27 degree weather to make do best way I can and drives off. Jeff's Classic was assigned as a tow service through AllState and took over 4 hours to come to the vehicle which was 2 hours past the time window. We had him again through Volvo and he never showed and wouldn't answer the phone/messages. Stay away! read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! My roadside assistance provider scheduled them to tow my vehicle with an ETA of two hrs until arrival quoted. Three hours later I called to touch base and was told by the manager that they were another hour and a half away because one of their trucks broke down. Another three hours went by and they wouldn't answer the phone or return my calls. After waiting for more than 6 hours, I ended up having to call my roadside assistance company and reschedule the tow with another company. BEWARE! read more

If I could would do a zero. If you see this man do not let him touch your vehicle!! He also goes by American lock and towing. Came through my roadside assistance! He was hire to work on getting a new key that broke in the ignition switch. Could not do the first day he came out. Was here two other times. Said it was more than just the ignition switch. I needed something else that was very expensive, but he could just put in used steering column would be a lot cheaper. I asked about prices several times. Was even told just pray about it. He could not do here so was towed. Under his direction and Jeff's towing. I told him and he new as he worked for roadside assistance. Had the car for weeks at this point. Scammers! On June 1, 2018 my roadside service plan called Jeff's Classic Towing & Locksmith to come out and repair our stairs to our Motorhome. After 3 hours Jeff came out and disengaged the stairs so we could tie them up and drive it. He charged us $550 to get a new motor and come out repair it. He was going to file it with my Extended Warranty company. It is now Aug 11, 2018 and my stairs are still not fixed. I have been given nothing but a round around and now they have blocked my number. My roadside assistance company contacted Jeff's about being locked out of my vehicle. When I got a call from them, the gentleman on the phone already had some sort of attitude. He told me the company called him and said I had a key issue, when I told him I had only locked my keys in my car he became even more ill. Told me he couldn't simply unlock my car(because of the type of car?) he would have to make another key.. when I told him we've had this issue before with no problems he proceeded to tell me he was "licensed and knew what he was talking about." Okay, cool. He said he can help me but he was in Greensboro and I was in Winston, so it would take him a while, and if I could send him a photo of my VIN number. Get off the phone, tore the house apart, and ten minutes later I find the spare key. Tried to call back, but he did not answer, mind you, this was barely 10 minutes from the time we talked. So I called my roadside assistance to tell them to cancel the order before he drives out there. They got him on the phone and he claims he was at the sight where my car was already and he wanted to speak to a supervisor... my husband was by the car this whole time, and this man was nowhere in sight... also, how in the world did he get from Greensboro to Winston in that amount of time?? I was parked in a garage at a hospital for an appointment and when I got back to my car it would not start. My insurance company sent Jeff out and he diagnosed the problem right away. He fixed my car car right there in the hospital garage because it could not be moved from where it was. He is not only an amazing locksmith and tow truck driver but he is a wonderful mechanic as well. He kept me informed with every step of the process and worked with me on the payment. He is truly a great man and I am very appreciative of everything he has done to help get me back on the road. If I could give him 10 stars I would! read more

Please do not use this service. He told us he would be out in about 1/2 hour. Two hours later, he had not shown up. We called him and he said that he didn't provide the service we needed and we would have to get someone else. We have an assisted roadside service and we called them back later for service and they said that they were told that this service had come out and we refused their service. AAA called this place early in the morning 9am,They where advised they could get to my vehicle within two hours. I was ok with that. 2 hours went by I called this company I was told it would be 2 more hours before they could get to my vehicle it is now 1230p. I was ok with it. 2 hours later I called now it is 230p . I was told we are still backed up but we are going to get to you next. I expressed to Jeff's I've been waiting since 9 am. They said we had a lot of cars to be towed today but you are next. NOW it is 430p my car is still on the side of the road. This guy is a scam artist. Took 3 hours to come to the pick up. Then said he couldn't tow the vehicle because he didn't bring the proper equipment to tow an SUV. But he still wanted to be paid by the company I was going through so he lied and said he could fix my vehicle.
