I recently decided to straighten my teeth using the invisible braces. In about 5 months, I have the teeth I always dreamed about! Dr. Marzo refined the edges of my front teeth and gave me a perfect smile. I'm so grateful to her and her team. I highly recommend Finger Lakes Family Dental.

I walked in with a tooth causing me excruciating pain, hoping for relief. I specifically requested sedation for the extraction due to a traumatic past experience with my wisdom teeth. Instead, I was told I had to wait nine days to see Dr. Jason. When I returned, I faced yet another obstacle: a $175 consultation fee just to be seen again, meaning another seven days of agony. Frustrated and in unbearable pain, I decided to go through with the extraction without sedation. What followed was a nightmare. The pain was indescribable as Dr. Jason struggled with my tooth, breaking it in the process. I was screaming in agony, and two young girls in the waiting room even told their dad, "No way!" and left. I had to take 45-minute breaks just to catch my breath, while the staff had the audacity to yell at me to be quiet! I arrived for my 9:45 AM appointment and didn't leave until after 3 PM--all for one molar. It's clear this place prioritizes money over patient care and is full of liars. Now, when their commercial comes on TV, I relive that horrific experience, and my heart races with anxiety. Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist. No one should have to endure what I went through here! YOU KNOW THAT GUY IN THE DENTIST CHAUR AT THE ROCHESTER MUSEUM SCREAMING IN AGONY THAT WAS ME

I'm terrified of dentists so I can't be sure what the rest of the conversation was, but that comment was a concern for me (thinking "why did he say that?) The staff is very nice. I had an appointment just before 4pm. I did not have to wait. They took x rays, and these were x rays I have never seen before. They took the regular ones (the black and white ones) but then they took some that were actually color photos of my teeth. The dentist showed me these on a large tv screen (which was on the wall in front of the dental chair). He showed me the areas of concern; why they concerned him and what should be done to correct the problem. When I was done the receptionist gave me an estimate for the procedures I needed done. ($3000 for two crowns) The only problem I encountered was that I called before scheduling an appt to see if they accepted our dental insurance. I was told they "Accepted" it. Apparently, I did not understand that there is a difference between "we accept it" and "being a provider" (ok, lesson learned). The receptionist was kind enough to explain that what that means is that we (my husband had an appt too) pay out of pocket for the procedures done and they file the claim with the insurance company for us (so we don't have to) and then the insurance company will reimburse us. This was a BIG surprise for me and thankfully we were able to cover it. I like this dentist but paying out of pocket for entire bill is the only negative

I read positive reviews of Dr. Lalor and my fiend's children have gone to him. I called to make an initial appointment and told the office staff I did not want a rotating dentist every year and wanted Dr. Lalor. The staff told me no problem and gave me an appointment for mid July. Yesterday, they called and said he wasn't going to be in that week and said they could get me in with him tomorrow. I accepted the appointment. The staff who came out to get me and take x-rays was not welcoming or personable at all. They didn't tell me their name and just gave direction on where to go for the c-rays and the room to sit. No welcome to Lalor Family Dental, or my name is..., no it's nice to meet you. After the x-Ray, a dental hygienist came in and introduced herself and said she was helping out dentist "name" today. I corrected her and said my scheduled appointment was with Dr. Lalor. She left and came back and said he doesn't really come to this office and isn't available. I told her that is not what the office staff told me when booking. I told her it wasn't her fault, but I was told I could select the dentist I wanted and was told the appointment would be with Dr. Lalor. I left and will not return. The way I was greeted by staff and not being truthful about being able to select the dentist I wanted to see was enough for me to go to a more professional dental clinic.

When we arrived we were taken into the back and again explained why we were there. Dr Josh examined my husband and informed us that we would need to go to their Vestal office for another consultation because they don't do that there. We were then charged $59 to be told they couldn't help us. Total waste of time and money. If they don't do orthodontia work there, they never should have made us an appointment. Let alone charged us to tell us they couldn't help us.

She sent me to have three teeth removed. While I was waiting for those sites to heal I lost the tip of another. I went in to have the tip repaired and she also did purely cosmetic fillings on the outside surface with the warning it might not last. She was right. It didn't. I paid over $800 for a gloss that fell out after two weeks. It's been a year now and the tip repair has fallen out, too. I had a partial plate with six teeth built for almost $2K. I can't wear it. It gives me a speech impediment. She said, "Oh, just read the newpaper outloud." There is so much plastic I can't find my alveolar ridge to form an l, n, d, or t. There is even plastic on the back surface of the upper front teeth, that I can't form an Italian l either. I'm a voice professional and must be able to perform in Italian, French, and English as well as demonstrate to my students. The only positives about the office are the delightful woman in the front office and the very healthy croton that gets morning sunshine through the window. Avoid at all costs.
